Great hotel, good value for money. I was pleased with the large selection of dishes for breakfast, the high-quality cleaning of the room, the towels were changed every day, and the towels that were given to the beach also had a very pleasant subtle aroma (this is important for me). Good condition of the rooms, pleasant interior.

What can I say... first experience with our one year old son and it was truly fantastic thanks to the kindness and friendliness of all the staff, not to mention the cleanliness of the entire hotel and the super kitchen with great dishes every day. A great place to spend your holidays or, in my case, even for work. There is outdoor parking, a swimming pool, a bar and a restaurant. Very neat and clean environment. New rooms with all amenities. Breakfast was excellent. Friendly and professional staff.

Rooms have very thin walls so you can hear everyone in other rooms and they can hear you. Breakfast very big variation, and good location 2 meters away from beach with a few good restaurants around. Seats on the beach are mid, a bit far from the water, but otherwise good quality. Very pet friendly a lot of dogs, so not recommended if you hate dogs or are allergic.

This hotel is in desperate need of some refreshing. While the beds and shower were clean everything is so old and dingy that it feels gross. However the front desk were very welcoming and helpful. I could see they were fielding many issues and responding as quickly and professionally as they could. They are the bright spot in this hotel.

Nice little hotel on the outskirts of Macerata old town. Stayed there over Christmas to visit relatives in the area, and the holiday staff were pleasant and attentive. Limited dining in the hotel but many restaurants within a few minutes walk and free car parking. Will stay there again.

The hotel's front desk staff are very friendly, can communicate fluently in English, and are eager to provide assistance. There is also a 24-hour bar. However, it is a little far from the city.

Our room was perfect - a lovely little balcony with large ocean view and very comfortable beds. The breakfast was delicious - so many options, too! The staff were friendly and very helpful. Old Town is about an 8 minute walk - very easy. I highly recommend this hotel!

Great position. Cordial staff. Not the greatest gastronomical experience but a good holiday base.

The price was convenient for the standard of the room. The curtains do not screen the sun in the early morning so bring a mask! The breakfast is included, they offer their filtered water in bottles but it still has too chlorine taste... I had to buy a bottle from the vending machine at the reception

A three-star hotel is probably a far-fetched opinion. Compared to other hotels, three stars in Fortuna are a big stretch. You definitely have to thank and praise the nice service and the tasty breakfast (sweet and savory) but without hot dishes. On the other hand, the minuses that influenced my rating are cracked walls, holes in the walls, dirty doors and windows, visible mold behind the shower door...

Stayed here one night after arriving on Ferry from Greece in order to catch train next day. It was basically OK for the money but don’t expect much. The door to the room seemed like it was hollow-core and could have easily been breached. Breakfast buffet was very basic but acceptable. Staff was friendly enough. And room/bathroom were clean.

This was our second trip to Ascoli Piceno and staying the Hotel Palazzo dei Mercanti. We enjoyed our stay as much as we did our first trip. The location is great, the people working at the property were terrific and the rooms excellent. I have recommended this hotel to family and friends who have also used it with great satisfaction.

The palazzo itself is charming, but unfortunately the room left a lot to be desired. The mattress was old and uncomfortable, with noticeable springs, and the bedding had a tear. Some towels had holes, which made everything feel a bit worn out. There was also a persistent unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom, and the toilet seat didn’t fit properly, it was far too small. Ideal position tucked in a quiet street just behind Piazza del Popolo. We received a warm welcome along with our dog. The staff were professional and friendly, the room and bathroom were both spacious and very comfortable. In addition, we enjoyed a generous breakfast with great service. Our go-to hotel next time we visit Ascoli Piceno.

Wonderful people, great breakfast, and comfortable and quiet room in a very good location. And the convenience of valet pathing for a fee certainly is an added bonus. We will definitely stay here again if in the area.

This unique lodging in an historic palazzo is located in the central part of the city. Major squares are within five minute walk. Parking can be a challenge but the property offers valet service for an extra charge. Breakfast offferings were very good with a variety of options. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The location is great. The Urbino express train stop is just in front of the hotel as well as the palace and the Cathedral. The room is clean and the breakfast is delicious.

We stayed in the newer part of this hotel, which looked great. For some reason, at our arrival, there was no staff member at the front desk. We ended up searching for someone. The breakfast in the old-fashioned dining hall tasted a bit stale.

Dated hotel, however they are building a new wing, the rooms of the old one, at least mine was rather run down and without due maintenance. Perfect location for the beach and city centre, easy walk to both locations. Parking was available for 3 of the 4 nights, the last night we had to find our own so the parking is not gauranteed. Overall it was a great stay and would definately recommend.

Because of some nearby construction, we could not find the hotel, and had to leave our car outside the walls. It’s about a 5-10 minute climb straight up to be in the center of the town so not ok if you have mobility issues. Nice hotel with a nice swimming pool. Sits on a square that is about 50m from the beach. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was good. The room was good with a large bathroom although the balcony was a little small for our liking. Gabicce Mare is seasonal beach resort so do go in the main months otherwise you can find things closing down. The beach is fantastic and there are some nice places to eat

A unique hotel, a museum hotel. Works of art everywhere. Stunning location. Good breakfast. The rooms are all different, each with a different theme. They're clean, and the bathroom also has a sea view, perhaps in need of renovation. The only flaw I can find is the lack of soundproofing.
