Our stay at Hotel Saini was great 🙂 We came from Zurich for a weekend trip, and the owner made us feel super welcome. He gave us tons of great recommendations, and we had a really nice breakfast in the hotel. It's also right in the middle of a lively area with everything you could need from restaurants to groceries and pharmacies.
Very quick walk to swimming spots on the beach (check Lov Beach Lounge) and to the ferry port from which you can get to the islands.
Highly recommend Hotel Saini for couples (or anyone) looking to get away to a beautiful spot 😊

Hotel is ok for the price. The owner is very friendly. No air conditioning and what we did not enjoy was that each time we went out, the owners came in the room (more than once a day). Otherwise very central to the nice places of Stresa.

The attitude of the hotel owners was almost unbelievably good! They we trying hard to advice you where to go, what to see, what tours to buy etc. And their advices were not for profit, they never asked you to mention their names or something - they simply wanted you to enjoy their area.

Very bad experience - do not even think about staying in this hotel.
Very bad breakfast - it is in another bar (200m away). They took 16 euro for the breakfast and gave us just coffee and croissant! Nothing else!!!
Shower was working very bad (too hot water - switcher is not working, impossible to have colder water).
it was also very dirty in the room.

Hotel is very well located with many good restaurants and ferry terminal within easy walking. Room is clean, well kept, and has all amenities necessary for a comfortable stay. Service staff of hotel is very helpful and efficient, and Mr Saini goes out of his way to recommend activities and places to go to, which is very much appreciated in a region where not all locals speak English. Would return to stay in this hotel again.
