Only negative was high hotel restaurant prices so we eat out. Lots of great options. Plus no coffee machine or kettle in the room.
Room well appointed and super clean. Good amenities. Upgraded to lake view which is lovely. Staff very friendly.
Excellent hotel in Stresa. Palace life for a few hours. Romantic breakfast. Super comfortable room.
The hotel is beautiful. The location gave us options for relaxing, restaurants, and walking distance to shopping. Outdoor pool/bar, breakfast, atmosphere was great made better by the staff who are super friendly and helpful.
Just spent three nights in this beautiful hotel, visually stunning with lovely gardens and a pool. It’s perfectly located for. 4 minute stroll into Stresa town centre for lots of bars and restaurants. You can catch a ferry to the Borromean Islands just in front of the hotel. Breakfast was awesome, lots of choice and a beautiful setting.
The Regina Palace is a hotel from bygone days of classic architecture with huge imposing rooms with lots of style. The service from the staff in all areas was exceptional, friendly and professional. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

A beautiful historic hotel with a lovely breakfast room overlooking the lake. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were exceptional. Highly recommend this hotel.
Lovely hotel. In a beautiful location with wonderful views. Very clean and comfortable. Staff accomodating to vegetarian dining. Service was quick and friendly. Highly recommend.
I have just returned from a Blake's tour to lake Maggiore.we stayed at this hotel . I could not fault it .The staff were brilliant the meals were great, and the rooms were good(the only reason I gave 4stars was we had no view. It is situated on the lake near the ferry and tourist boats
Right in the center. A good pool is available at the neighboring hotel. They have an agreement. The breakfasts are excellent, with a view of Lake Maggiore. The room overlooks the stairs to the courtyard. And it's small.
This hotel is located in a great location, beautiful views of the lake and the staff is outstanding! The trains went on strike the day of our departure and the staff worked for hours to find us alternative transportation. I highly recommend this hotel. We had a great stay there!
The location is great, but breakfast could have better varieties

Small balconies. Lovely staff. Breakfast was plentiful and good. The hotel was located close to the beach. Ferry to nearby islands left from the beach. Just a short walk from the train station. Lovely swimming pool on site. It was closed for the winter in October.
My husband and I had a splendid stay at Hotel Della Torre. Visiting Stresa was the last leg of our trip so we were looking for somewhere scenic, romantic, and relaxing to end our Italian travels. This hotel checked all of those boxes and more! The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The breakfast each morning was a wonderful perk and delicious. Our room was clean and charming, especially...
Really nice and friendly staff who helps and gives us good tips and info. Warm and could breakfast with daily fresh local sweet stuff and fresh fruit 😋 Perfect location, really close to water for getting a boat for other Islands ( just 3 min walk) The room are spacious, the mattress and pillow are comfortable. Nice balcony which in the evening gives you the possibility to have a wine or even dinner...
Nice and cozy hotel relatively close (20 min. walk) to Stresa center. The room was classically decorated but was clean and tidy. The only criticism would be the A/C cleanliness, which was dirty and didn't smell pleasant. The staff were very friendly and helpful they make an effort to accommodate you. The breakfast is buffet style with decent variety. Packing is on availability only. Overall a great...
Very pleasant play for a short and long stay in Stresa and Botomeo area. Staff is so much helpful and professional! Thank you! The hotel is 100 m from the boats to islands and about 15 min walking from the center of Stresa, but it deserves to walk along the lake, enjoying all beautiful buildings and gardens. Parking to the hotel costs 13 euros. Our room looked to the mountain - lovely view. Very rich...
Service is better than what i would expect from a 3-star hotel. The food in the restaurant is also very good and reasonably priced for the area. However, the AC in the room was a big let down, it barely cooled the room and shut off after a certain time in the evening, this led to very hot nights as i didn't want to open the window due to the mosquitos. Our room also suffered for train noise, not enough...

I wanted to save some money by not staying directly lakefront, and this hotel was quiet, clean, no frills and perfect. In a quiet neighborhood where a 2 minute walk in a residential area brings you to self service laundry, a grocery store, shops and restaurants and a 5 minute walk from the more busy piazzas with restaurants and shops. The hotel room was large with loads of space for storage and plenty...
We were a group of 8 and had a fantastic time cycling around Stresa. Partucularly, I recommend Lake Orta, a fabulous place. The hotel’s own e-bike rental was incredibly convenient, and the bikes were in excellent condition. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond, organizing a memorable dinner on Isola Bella and arranging a private boat tour on Lago Maggiore. The hotel itself is charming...
The bedrooms were supposed to be refurbished but ours was not. The material round the bed was ripped all the way round and the terrace overlooked a load of rubbish. The food was reasonable, dinner had a good buffet, 4 choices of starter and main course plus pudding. Breakfast was a continental buffet and was okay.
The location is good, close to the train station and ferry terminal, and the staff are friendly. However, the rooms are average. The first room's door wouldn't close, the second room's safe didn't work, and there wasn't even a bar of soap in the bathroom. There wasn't any shelf in the shower for shower gel or other items. The breakfast was okay, with plenty of options.
The hotel is in the center of Stresa, but not in the restricted traffic zone (ZTL), making it easily accessible by car. Parking is a painstaking task in the nearby streets, but they do have a private garage for a fee. The apartment we were assigned was very clean, cozy, and spacious. It had a kitchenette. Independent heating and a huge bathroom. The reception staff were young but knowledgeable. I haven...
The journey from the airport to hotel was terrible, but the stay at the hotel was very good. At midnight, the hotel owner welcomed us and tells us the most important information. He invited us for a tasty breakfast and the service in the restaurant was nice. The room was very clean and you could relax. The hotel is located in a quiet location.

All was great, especially the staff who were very helpful and friendly. Only minor problem was mold on the ceiling of the bathroom. We would stay there again.
Value hotel close to centre of Stresa Central Hotel near lake, station and town. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean but basic rooms. Would benefit from fridge/safe.
The staff was friendly and the new rooms were spacious. The only odd thing was the window between the room and the bathroom—it lets natural light in, but it also gives a view of the toilet.
I booked the hotel for weekend, nice location near to shops and beach ⛱️. The bigest issue is about the blanket. It seems they are not washed properly since when I used it my body was covered with bed bugs bites. The shower room is extra small. In one occasion the room service forgot to close the room door after entering.
Lovely hotel, definitely more to it than the limited info our travel operator gave to us. Breakfast good standard, helpful staff
Near to the lake and the town centre building site across the road, shower alternated between freezing of scalding rapidly so no such thing as a comfortable shower. Breakfast is very limited in selection and availability depending on what time you arrive, lukewarm warm coffee and “hot” water to make lukewarm tea. Saving grace is the staff are friendly, polite and helpful

Excellent! So friendly and helpful. The staff were exceptional and even gave us a complimentary bottle of wine after allowing a slightly late checkout due to me having a work meeting. The hotel itself is really very nice indeed, especially handy location for boat trips to the gorgeous islands. Highly recommended!
Enjoyable stay Picture perfect view from our balcony, wonderful breakfast and friendly staff made our stay very enjoyable
We find this difficult to review as we have very mixed feelings about the place. Positives…… the staff could not be more helpful and professional. The breakfast selection was very good but as some have commented, the food can run out if you don’t get in before 9am. The room size was good and the beds relatively comfortable although the mattress was a little lumpy and could do with turning end on end...
I don’t even know where to begin in describing how wonderful the staff at Hotel Flora was. The hotel manager, Carlo, went over and above to make sure our stay was perfect—exactly what a great manager should do. Francesca was always pleasant and helped us so much throughout our visit, and Julia was also fantastic. Their warmth and professionalism truly stood out. Our room was beautiful, spotless,...
Great stay Staff were all welcoming and extremely helpful. Breakfast was delicious and the choice was excellent. Great location for the ferry at Carciano and a lovely walk in to Stresa mostly along the lake Used the pool a couple of times - a little cold but fine once you're in.
Lovely hotel. Manager and all staff were so friendly and helpful. We stayed half board and are vegetarian but there was plenty of choice for us. The food was excellent. We started off with a mountain view room but upgraded to a lakeside view which was well worth it with the most beautiful view of the lake and islands. The location is in the city center. So all the services are near. The hotel rooms are quite modern but there are some porblems with smoking, air condition system, heating. Some members of staff are not service minded. Noises from streets and other rooms can be heard in rooms.
We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Primavera, staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were comfortable and very clean. Close to restaurants and shopping. I would recommend this hotel.
Excellent location, very attentive and helpful staff. Bathrooms need updating and breakfast is inadequate.
Hotel Primavera is a good 3 star hotel in the pedestrian district of Stresa. We had a good 5 nights stay there. The room was spacious by European standards, it had a balcony big enough for 2 chairs, a kettle (but no teas or coffees were provided), and an empty mini fridge. The bathroom had apparently been recently redecorated and was nice. There have been some negative comments about the breakfast...
Spacious rooms, clean, very new bathroom, walkin shower was brilliant, but no shelf in there for toiletries? Clean room & bed. Special price menu for guests in restaurant next door. Breakfast was adequate but Too many cakes, pies & sweet slices. Croissants handed to you at table, 1 each. But on the whole great hotel in an ideal position/area, restaurants & Lake couple of minutes walk.
It was even better than expected!! We only stayed for one night and wish we could have stayed more. The room was a great amount of space. We had an unexpected view that made our hard day of travel so much better! Other than some mold on the ceiling that no one else in my family noticed everything was super clean! Right next to the pier, you can easily take a cruise around the lake. The hotel provides free parking spaces, but you can ask the front desk if you can't find them. The room is large and it is very comfortable to sunbathe on the balcony.
Perfect location in Stresa Great property near the ferry pier in Stresa. The staff were friendly and accommodating.
Pleasant stay right beside the lake and only a 10min walk into the centre of Stresa. Convenient free onsite parking, nice indoor pool, communal areas and a great breakfast. Decor is a bit dated but in some way adds to the charm of the place. Excellent friendly staff.

Our room was lovely. Great size bathroom & show. Great view of the lake, listening to the water was very soothing. Chairs on balcony were not very comfortable but we still used them daily and it would be nice to have a small table out there. Otherwise staff was very nice and accommodating.
Small heaven on an island Wonderful small hotel with a lot of charm. Nicely renovated, best views, good service!
Excellent experience on beautiful Island.
The hotel has a great position on the island. Our room was well presented and recently decorated, very clean and modern bathroom fittings. breakfast is advertised as 8.00 to 10am. Stresa and Lake Maggiore are not to be missed. The Moderno makes a good base. I suggest you ask about the rooms before selecting, as the hotel encompasses several buildings and the rooms vary. The Hotel is a good value for the price, but it is ageing and somewhat dated. We like firm mattresses and our room had the firmest mattress ever!

Lovely family run Hotel. View from our room 32 across Lake Maggiore is breathtaking.
The absolutely best views in the area! Fantastic experience, such a time machine back to authentic: end of 19th beginning of 20th century decor and ambience! Modern bathrooms and original, although, "like new" furniture and decor. This hotel has been owed and run by a single family for the past hundred years, four generations of hard working people. We stayed about a week in this hotel. It is very conveniently located in Stresa center and close to pier on the lake. Rooms are extremely clean and furniture and decoration is wooden (which I liked a lot). Owner Federico and his manager Taya were super helpful, polite and charming. Breakfast was good. Hotel in my opinion is good value for money, and have a pleasant atmosphere with a nice staff.
Nice quiet boutique hotel. Close to the waterfront, restaurants, and ferries. The owners were super friendly, helpful and nice. Just finished a three night stay here. This was a great, family ran hotel. The location can’t be beat, the rooms were spotless clean, rooms were quiet, large showers.
