I wanted to save some money by not staying directly lakefront, and this hotel was quiet, clean, no frills and perfect. In a quiet neighborhood where a 2 minute walk in a residential area brings you to self service laundry, a grocery store, shops and restaurants and a 5 minute walk from the more busy piazzas with restaurants and shops. The hotel room was large with loads of space for storage and plenty of hooks and a large desk area, along with a balcony with 2 plastic chairs and a table.. Bathroom supplied round soap and shampoo. Front desk was efficient and stored my luggage after checkout while I explored the town further. Short walk to train station. Included breakfast was cheese, meats, hard boilded eggs, croissant, yogurt and fruit and a Coffee machine.

We were a group of 8 and had a fantastic time cycling around Stresa. Partucularly, I recommend Lake Orta, a fabulous place. The hotel’s own e-bike rental was incredibly convenient, and the bikes were in excellent condition. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond, organizing a memorable dinner on Isola Bella and arranging a private boat tour on Lago Maggiore. The hotel itself is charming and well-priced; it’s not a luxury property, but that’s reflected in the value. The only minor downside was the coffee at the breakfast buffet, which could be improved. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would love to return.

The bedrooms were supposed to be refurbished but ours was not. The material round the bed was ripped all the way round and the terrace overlooked a load of rubbish. The food was reasonable, dinner had a good buffet, 4 choices of starter and main course plus pudding. Breakfast was a continental buffet and was okay.

We booked a room in their affiliated hotel but they already gave it away to someone else
We ended up in a dirty, moldy and smelly room !

We initially planned to stay two nights but after the first night in this disgusting room we obviously didn't want to stay longer. Especially for the high prices to paid to be sur to habe a good room.

That's when the manager started shouting and yelling at me through the phone. When he started to become rude, that was it.
Save your money and holiday and find yourself a better place.

Breakfast was also very basic and disappointing, could do better

The location is good, close to the train station and ferry terminal, and the staff are friendly. However, the rooms are average. The first room's door wouldn't close, the second room's safe didn't work, and there wasn't even a bar of soap in the bathroom. There wasn't any shelf in the shower for shower gel or other items. The breakfast was okay, with plenty of options.

The hotel is in the center of Stresa, but not in the restricted traffic zone (ZTL), making it easily accessible by car. Parking is a painstaking task in the nearby streets, but they do have a private garage for a fee. The apartment we were assigned was very clean, cozy, and spacious. It had a kitchenette. Independent heating and a huge bathroom. The reception staff were young but knowledgeable. I haven't seen the hotel rooms, but I definitely recommend it.

I booked a room in the morning. Only ½ later a message that the hotel was closed and had been given a room in another hotel.

I missed the mail. Came to an empty hotel.

The replacement was not bad. Actually better situated but further from the station.

But why did they leave the booking open?

The journey from the airport to hotel was terrible, but the stay at the hotel was very good. At midnight, the hotel owner welcomed us and tells us the most important information. He invited us for a tasty breakfast and the service in the restaurant was nice. The room was very clean and you could relax. The hotel is located in a quiet location.

Very close to congress palace and to city center, welcoming staff, the only problem is just one key per room (but you can solve this problem with the help of the staff)
