I booked the hotel for weekend, nice location near to shops and beach ⛱️. The bigest issue is about the blanket. It seems they are not washed properly since when I used it my body was covered with bed bugs bites.

The shower room is extra small.
In one occasion the room service forgot to close the room door after entering.

All was great, especially the staff who were very helpful and friendly. Only minor problem was mold on the ceiling of the bathroom. We would stay there again.

Value hotel close to centre of Stresa
Central Hotel near lake, station and town. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean but basic rooms. Would benefit from fridge/safe.

The staff was friendly and the new rooms were spacious. The only odd thing was the window between the room and the bathroom—it lets natural light in, but it also gives a view of the toilet.

Near to the lake and the town centre building site across the road, shower alternated between freezing of scalding rapidly so no such thing as a comfortable shower. Breakfast is very limited in selection and availability depending on what time you arrive, lukewarm warm coffee and “hot” water to make lukewarm tea. Saving grace is the staff are friendly, polite and helpful

Lovely hotel set one block back from the water and ferry docks, not far from the train station. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and breakfast covered a wide range of food. The balcony with lake views enhanced the experience.

First and last stay
This was not a waterfront hotel and certainly not worth what we paid. The breakfast coffee tasted like mud. The toilet was almost touching the bidet head to head so a struggle to use the toilet. The shower looked awful and difficult to use and put me off using it. The rest of the hotel was nice but not our room.
No supermarkets around to buy water. The hotel charges 4 euros for water.
The proximity to the lake and train station was excellent.
