Relais Rio Molas in Muravera

We loved our stay here and the service and people working there are really lovely. The breakfast and dinner food was very good. The only reason it is not 5 stars is our room had a shared balcony which meant we did not have privacy when we wanted to relax outside. We had to share our balcony with someone who smoked which was not for us. Most of the other rooms do have private balconies. Also you could not really relax in the room with the door open as it opened out for people walking past to their rooms. The staff at the hotel were fantastic and couldn't have been more helpful, friendly and polite. We left early to go to the beach one morning and they packed us up a breakfast early in the morning which was great.

You can borrow beach umbrellas and they give you towels to use. We thought the location was great. Its 5 mins from the closest beach and 25 to Costa rei which is beautiful. I suggest taking water and food for a day at the beach!

They have two swimming pools which is great and most days they were pretty quiet! The local beaches do not get overly crowded when the popular beaches do but its just a very relaxing atmosphere at all beaches.

The staff was extremely helpful and courteous.

We stumbled across the restaurant at Rio Molas staying at nearby accommodation. The service was very friendly and the food was stunning, clearly made using fresh and local ingredients. The menu changes daily depending on what is available. The best food we have had in Sardinia, so much so that we went back there for our final meal before heading home. If you are in the area give this place a try. The accommodation also looked really nice with gorgeous sea views!

Hidden gem! The staff were amazing and they were super friendly, the cleaners did an amazing job everyday. We loved our time here and couldn’t recommend this place enough, the photos do not do it justice! The food is great too we had some lovely meals in the evening overlooking the sea.

We have travelled all over Sardinia fro 10 days. We have stayed at Rio Molas 4 nights. Everything was great. The room spacious, the building reminded us a country home of Italy, the panoramic view. A little attention at the food, it can be better. But the most important thing was the politeness of the staff. At Sardinia Italians in general were impolite and aggresive. At Rio Molas were just perfect!!! Above all we had really the feeling of relaxing vacations!

Our BMW got damaged off road and needed an emergency check and possibly fix but we don’t speak Italian 🥲 Imagining we were now stranded in Sardinia for months without German car service, it was a catastrophe 🌋
Luckily, we were staying at Rio Molas residence and they took such good care of us 🥰 Cleaning ladies, receptionists, waiters, Chef, the owner - literally all staff assisted us in talks, calls, finding & contacting authorized BMW service, organizing tow and driving us to appointments while we couldn’t use our car🙏🏻 Grazie mille! Will definitely come back + recommend the resort to friends!
P.S.: apart from the kindness and sincere care of the staff, the hotel itself was a dream stay 🫶🏼 beautiful views, nature, two pools, clean, spacious rooms, panoramic balcony, delicious food at the hotel’s restaurant 😋

Amazing location for Nature lovers!!!

We have stayed at the hotel around 5 days. The hotel is located at the hearth of nature🌴🏡. We stayed in a room from where we can see the beautiful sea and the mauntain views. If you are a nature lover you can spot the green lizards hanging around and hear the sound of various bird species such as turtle dove, bee eater, goldfinch, greenfinch, peregrine falcon and nighthawk. Apart from this there are no nearby buildings which means no noice from other people / hotels to disturb you. You pay a fixed price for the dinner and you get good portions of food👍🏻.The food menu changes every day and it is fresh & in good quality. I found the seafood especially great! Also, the staff are so friendly! Our vehicle got broken down during our stay and they helped us about everything needed including contacting the towing service , arranging appointment from BMW authorised service branch from the closest big city and ofcourse talking to those services in Italien! The Beach is accessible by car or by feet. We went by the car and it takes around 5 minutes drive 🌊.
