I had low expectations as I needed a room close to train station for one night only. I was really impressed with Amaranta. Room was very clean and spacious, so does the bathroom. You also get access to a fully fitted kitchen and a dining room. Overall I felt like I'm in some sort of palazzo because rooms are decorated with antiques and it just give you the vibe of being in much more expensive place.

The price is too high for a structure that is neither very clean nor comfortable .. the girl at the reception is kind, but that's not enough!

The room were very nicely furnitured and had a nice balcony with a garden view but the was no soudproof whatsoever and we heard every word from the room next door. The neighbors had a little baby so we almost had no sleep. the next day after my request we got transfered to a different room but it was much worse in quality that the first one, with a terrible bed and bathroom. The floors were dirty. The breakfast was very low quality made from the cheapest market products and that was the most disappointing thing, cause it was our last meal in Italy. The girl in reception clearly knew we were not fully satisfied so she cancelled our reservation though booking so we could not write an opinion. (we payed on spot with a debit card) For this cheaty move, we cannot give more than 2 stars.
