Epoca - Camere Con Stile in Ragusa

We stayed here for three nights and could not recommend it more highly.. Location - Excellent. Close to the centre of Ragusa Ibla (which isn't very big). Parking - Easy. We used the parcheggio a few minutes walk away. Getting there was entertaining, as Ragusa Ibla is at the top of a hill and the roads to get there are very windy indeed! Room - Spectacular. The room was enormous, with period furniture and a huge, comfortable bed. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Value - Excellent. Reasonably priced for such a unique place in a central location. Service - Excellent. Costanza could not have been more helpful and friendly. Breakfast - Good. Prepared fresh each morning. The usual Sicilian mix of sweet and savoury. The breakfast terrace was rather lovely. Noise - There was absolutely no noise whatsoever and we slept like babies.

Who would expect that behind the front door would be a beautiful palazzo? We had a wonderful stay and very much enjoyed the spacious, extremely clean and beautiful room. Constanza was a gracious hostess who served a wonderful breakfast each day complete with Modica chocolate and Ragusan focaccia! Everything about our stay was superb and Constanza gave us great recommendations for meals. Parking at the public lot was easier and closer than we thought it would be. The location was close to shopping and delicious restaurants, but the room was not noisy at night. We highly recommend Epoca and Ragusa!

This was a beautiful stay, lovely room with character, and rooftop terrace for breakfast. Staff was really nice and a great location. Wish I could go back again. Highly recommend.

Excellent stay all around, though it would have been nice if the shower’s hot water stayed hot a bit longer

My husband & I had a wonderful 2-night stay here in Ragusa Ibla (the old town) in mid-May 2025. This is a very cool old building with modern updates. Our room was comfortable & had everything we needed. There’s even a mini-fridge that we didn’t notice until the last night. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with lots of local specialties. Most important, Costanza is a wonderful host. She was responsive whenever we had questions or needed anything. Her help was critical when we had rental car trouble and she spoke to the company for us in Italian, which was faster & more accurate than the English-Italian mix we were attempting with the company representative. This is just an example of how thoughtful Costanza is with her guests. We recommend staying here!

We had a wonderful time during our stay here. Castanza was warm, welcoming, and even drove to the public parking
area to guide us to her B&B-- upon our arrival.
She provided dining and sightseeing advice. She assisted us to obtain tickets to a local musical production that was outstanding !!
The home is beautiful, very spacious, extremely clean, and within easy walking distance to all of Ragusa Ibla.
We highly recommend you stay here. Lovely breakfast on the terrace each morning. Thank you again for a dream vacation.

Great B&B close to Metro (Duomo) and 5-10 min walk to the old city. One large bed and a "bedsofa", large bath with towels and clean towels. AC worked excellent, didn't turn on the TV. Small cooler. Remember this is a old building and no elevator. We had our own entrance, small breakfast included. Great restaurants and pizzeria and supermarket next door. This was one of the best places Ive ever stayed at in Napoli. No problems to get a cab and we had the window opened and wasn't disturbed.

Costanza was very helpful and saved us a car park outside the apartment.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Epoca – Camere Con Stile in Ragusa Ibla, Sicily. We rented two of their four rooms, which are located in a large old palazzo with a lot of character. High, domed ceilings, tiled floors, balcony, and gorgeous period furniture. Everything was clean and very well maintained, with modern bathroom gear. You enter the palazzo via a central courtyard with enormous doors. Costanza was great to deal with, and super helpful. Prices are very reasonable. There is a very nice common terrace, sunny in the morning, and shaded in the afternoon. A nice breakfast is served every morning, indoors or on the terrace. We were delighted to find a great restaurant literally next door (I Banchi). Ragusa Ibla is incredibly quaint, and the very beautiful Giardino Ibleo is a very short walk away. The myriad roses there were in full bloom during or stay in May. We would stay at Epoca - Camera Con Stile again in a heatbeat.

We stayed four nights in Room 3, a lovely room with pieces of antique furniture, a superb traditional Sicilian bedroom suite and all the usual modern conveniences. The mattress and pillows were extremely comfortable and there are facilities to make your own tea or coffee. Breakfast was a range of Sicilian treats, with excellent coffee made to order. (There is even a small plate of Modica chocolate.) Two sisters, Constanza and Maria run this lovely bed and breakfast accommodation, which is located in part of a renovated Palazzo. They are both very welcoming and helpful. We experienced one cold, rainy day and spent the morning visiting some nearby churches and a Baroque palazzo. Upon our return, I spent a few hours in the comfortable living room of Epocha, which has some beautiful furniture and various books on Sicily, Baroque architecture and Sicilian needlework, as well as travel information. Epocha is a lovely place to spend a quiet afternoon. It is also perfectly located close to the main Piazza, various restaurants and a superb bakery called Ludice Pasticcere.

We liked the absolute disposition of Giancarlo to provide the best experience for us, always ready to help without being intrusive, it looks he is and should be very proud of his beautiful property. Whenever we were lost in the car he would go and fetch us.
