Everything was even better than imagined!
The staff, the property, its location, the restaurant - the dinner the wines…the room was sweet, the bathroom was new and fresh. The design of the property was excellent. A beautiful adaptive reuse. And lovely to walk outside into Ragusa’s public gardens.

Such an interesting concept! The team was so helpful and friendly. Rooms were huge with big bathroom area. Dinner in the main floor was great.

As a couple we only ate at this exceptional high standard restaurant and do not know what type of experience one would have as a guest overnight. The hotel manager Signore Salvo Cucuzza is an excellent and informative resource a traveler could encounter. He spent a lot of one on one time with us, giving us the attention required to satisfy our inquisitive curiosity. We had an excellent conversation about the establishment, its importance in history, and the way contemporary cooking classes are structured there. Then came the cuisine, from the menu to our table we were intrigued by the diversity of dishes and the superb quality and creativity of freshness and flavors. Signore Cucuzza answered every question we had about the food and its origins, pairing the dishes with the proper and perfect combination of table wine. Meanwhile eating in the renovated chambers of old world charm in this monastery with original paintings on stone, transports the dinner to an unforgettable experience lasting a lifetime. Grazie Mille Signore Cucuzza! Piacere!

Beautiful position near the old town and a beautiful building. However, the room we were placed in was well below the standard expected. The shower hose did not work, the shower drain was blocked, and the little air conditioner did not cope with the 29 degrees inside the room. When asked if anything could be fixed, no was the answer. The rooms are very small so don't travel here with two many bags!

We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights. We were treated like royals, especially by Stefano and Salvino. Hotel is extremely clean. Located within the garden. Very quiet. There is a bus stop near the garden which enables you to travel around and going to the centre of Ragusa. The main square of Ibla is within walking distance. Both lunch and supper at the hotel were just excellent. Thank you for taking so much care of us.

Beautiful place, friendly staff, comfortable bed and pillow. Since the building is stony, the accoustics are very loud, so don't go here if you want to spent time in your room and want some silence; you hear all the staff (rattling cleaning vehicle ), guests arriving/leaving untill night, and noises from the cooking classes. No tea/coffee in the room.

A lovely and simple property next to a beautiful garden with very kind and courteous staff. Simple rooms, very clean and steeped in local history. Don’t miss the church next door- or the crypt downstairs.

Comfortable Stay in Ragusa
Comfortable room. Hot water was a slow to come up in the shower, otherwise the bathroom was good. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

The position of the convent is outstanding surrounded by gardens, views over the hills and close to places of interest in Ragusa. The rooms (cells) are clean and comfortable. They run cooking classes by an excellent chef so we expected an above average breakfast. Unfortunately this was not the case. Don’t despair there are lovely cafes not far from the hotel.
