Unfortunately our visit was not as expected. Even though service was nice by the staff, the hotel is not as close as it’s been mentioned on the comments and written on the website. It takes 25 mins to the center with the city bus. Other than that our room was extremely small with a constant smell coming from the toilet. The amount of money we paid was too much for this kind of a stay.

This is not hotel’s fault but because the bus wasn’t reliable it didn’t come in the morning in the time as scheduled so we missed our train. There is no any other option if you don’t have a vehicle Just a heads up in case of inconvenience.

I had a very disappointing experience with this hotel. Due to an unexpected flight delay of over 4 hours, I was unable to make my reservation. When I contacted the hotel, they showed no flexibility or understanding of the situation. No options were offered: no alternative date, no partial refund, not even a gesture of goodwill. Their response was simply: you paid in full, no refund.

For a hospitality business, I would have expected at least some willingness to work with the customer in exceptional circumstances. Unfortunately, the lack of empathy and customer service means I will not be booking with this hotel again

Room:
We booked a double room with a balcony facing the street (Economy) in the old part of the hotel.

Positives:
The room is relatively clean and sufficient for sleeping. Food can be stored at the reception for cooling. The breakfast buffet is fine, parking spaces are available free of charge directly at the hotel, and the courtyard is cozy. The staff is friendly and helpful, and all guests receive the Bozen Card.
The air conditioning in our room worked well.

Negatives:
The room is extremely noisy. Conversations at normal volume and even other guests’ snoring can be clearly heard in the room. In addition, you constantly hear a kind of “gurgling” sound from the air conditioning units of other rooms, day and night – very unpleasant. Due to the direct proximity to the door, every noise from the hallway sounds as if it were inside the room. Traffic noise is also clearly noticeable even with closed windows. The balcony is therefore hardly usable and appears unattractive. Because of these noise issues, there is little privacy in the room and proper sleep is almost impossible. The room is worn-out and very small.
The TV is tiny and there is no refrigerator. The pictures of the room on the internet look much more modern than it really is in reality. Overall, there is little privacy and very limited comfort.

Conclusion: For the price of €70 per night in August and the proximity to Bolzano, the price seemed acceptable, but in our opinion it is not worth the money due to the disadvantages mentioned.
We definitely would not want to stay here again.

Truly don’t understand how people give 4 or 5 stars to this. Maybe they got the room that are on the Google profile. Our room was small, dirty (walls were dirty - linens were dirty) - the door of the bathroom was not locking / closing. Room temperature is very very high with an AC that shoots almost directly at the bed (then again with the size of the room there is no choice). Bathroom really not up to standard.

Breakfast lacks options and quality. Very low quality products (the juices are artificial industrial nectar - I doubt there is real fruit in there) - service was not good (hotel employee laughing when we asked if there was scrambled eggs - spoiler alert - no there is no scrambled eggs)

Anyway, the reception area is renovated and looks modern - I wish the rooms were too.

Service is very nice and polite, helps you with whatever you need. There is a bus next to the hotel that drives you to the city. Rooms are ok and clean. I am missing an AC since in the rooms it's very hot when it's sunny weather and the ventilator doesn't help much. Also the walls are very thin and whenever there are noisy guests it's somehow really annoying. The quality of the breakfast could be better, although they have a nice and comfortable terrace.

Nice midsized Hotel with Restaurant and Bar. Free parking right behind the Hotel. Modern clean rooms with nice view into the valley. Very friendly and helpful staff (thanks Thomas). Well located right next to the main road. This means there are trafficsounds, but the windows are well isolated. Additionally at night there is no mentionable traffic there.

The rooms were great, the location for the Dolomites is perfect and the owner is so helpful. All of the staff were friendly and cheerful. I would stay again if I was to be in the area.
