Hotel Waldsee in Fie

Absolutely fabulous. Enchanting surroundings, impeccable service. Best for trekking, lake dipping. Slopes are easy to reach too. The spa facilities are great. Some rooms are older than others but good anyway. Fairly priced.
I strongly recommend it.

Hotel Waldsee provided a wonderful experience for our unforgettable vacation. The entire place is a blend of luxury comfort with outstanding views, relaxing atmosphere and exceptional staff. We love good food and let us say the Chefs deserve a special praise. We opted for dinner there every night. It was fresh, beautifully presented, and oh so delicious. And, the dining room is gorgeous. Views abound. There is also a wonderful bar where we enjoyed the special drink of the day before dinner. Regarding our room: it was spacious, spotlessly clean. Towels for the indoor pool were provided also. Yes! huge indoor pool. Hotel Waldsee is a very special place and we will definitely return.

Structure immersed in a very large and green private park and on the shore of Lake Fiè, recently built. The wellness center is very modern, equipped with a sauna, Turkish bath, a very large and elegant indoor pool, a relaxation area overlooking the park. Clean and spacious rooms with daily change of sheets and towels. Very courteous staff, especially the owner. Rich and complete breakfast, good quality half board. Good quality / price ratio. The only small flaw: having to pay for the bathrobes for the wellness center.

Positive:
Location nice but secluded.
Dinner and breakfast are qualitatively good and there's a good selection,
Cleaning ladies and waiters are very friendly.

Negative:
No water boiler, coffee machine or fridge in the room. Not even a glass!
The absence of the fridge is counteracted by the fact that during the day the heating doesn't run and the rooms are cold.
In general, the rooms are small with an unpractical layout
No tea choice and towels in the wellness
Bathrobe to be rented additionally. The towels for the sauna not suited for more robust customers.
Naked mixed sauna, with windows facing the road and the parking.. Really unpleasant

We had stayed already at the Waldsee Hotel, but in winter time.
We had visited the area in other seasons, but without having the chance of staying at the hotel.
This has been our first time in summer.
The location itself is worth the staying: the place is absolutely gorgeous! The hotel is at few meter away from the wonderful mountain lake of Fié, surrounded by woods and offering a breathtaking view of the Sciliar Massif.
The hotel is composed by the main original building, connected to the new covered swimming pool, which includes the spa, and by a dependance. All the buildings are connected by an underground passage, which is quite convenient during winter time.
There is no outside pool: but when you have a lake such as the Fié one, with the advantage of the private pier of the hotel.....who cares!
The food is quite good and the breakfast is served on the outside terrace.
Defining "garden" the outside of the hotel sounds pretty underestimating: the large grass area allows to easily relax on sunchairs, where the woods offer a fresh shadowed place.
All the Sciliar area is perfectly served by pubblic transportation (as it goes in Trentino-Alto Adige) so, you can forget your car in the hotel parkings and easily move around using the local buses.
Last but not least: animals are welcomed!

We had a most wonderful time from the 19th of may for a magical week . We were a party of 74friends. It was a marvellous experience. Welcome, food excellent, service, rooms, decor, swimming Poole etc.... a highly recommended hotel. We would go any time. . Alan Beatrice Paton from London.

Very peaceful location with lake and forest.
In hotel you have full pansion, sauna, water pool.

Everything was perfect,room was spacious ,breakfast and evening meals were excellent.
