Villa Nicolli Romantic Resort - Adults Only in Riva del Garda

My stay at Villa Nicolli was nothing short of exceptional. Form the moment I arrived, the entire staff made me feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. Their attention to detail and warm hospitality truly set them apart. A special thank you to Ignacio and Silvia, who went above and beyond to make the stay memorable. Every team member contributed such a wonderful atmosphere. You can tell they all genuinely love what they do, and it shows. I highly recommend VIlla Nicolli and hope to return soon

Absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and taken care of. The staff were incredibly friendly, positive, and professional, creating a warm and personal atmosphere throughout our stay. Everything was top quality—nothing to complain about at all. One of the best hotel experiences we’ve had.

Fantastic hotel, staff were all brilliant. Very clean and comfortable, my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Probably the best holiday hotel I have stayed in. The food was excellent with loads of choice for breakfast, and the table service in the evening was excellent, no lukewarm buffet here, food was delicious. I think that what sets this hotel apart is the staff, they were so helpful and nice throughout the trip, I cannot emphasise how helpful and nice they all were. If we were to visit this area again I would not hesitate in booking here.

First I must compliment all the hard-working staff for making our vacation so very special. Above and beyond is an understatement. Always smiling, helpful, and could not do enough for us. Beautiful hotel in quiet location. I have listed a few ratings below, but saved the zero rating till last as it's the most concerning. The bar and waitress/waiter service 5 *. The cleaniless and speed at which your room is pepared daily 5* Garden & Grounds stunningly beautiful and well kept 5* Location 5* quiet area away from the bells ringing. Free bike/ Electis bike hire (45 Euros per day) 5* Shower pressure in room with plentiful hot water. 5* Happy hour daily 5* due to the amazing service. Lovely hotel situated away from the hustle and bustle of the main Riva Del Garda tourist area. 5 min walk to beach and town centre. 5* Food and presentation 4.5* The spa area, outdoor pool and amenities 4* The room, just a little dated and quite small. 3.5* Fridge in room but only for hotel refreshments 3* only because you cannot get the use out of it for your cold milk for breakfast cofee/tea. No iron in room, however there is a service you can use. 3* just a little inconvenient. Kettle in room however 1 sachet of coffee and 1 teabag 1 daily! 1* Surely a 4* hotel could permit 2 of each a day (one for morning and one for evening)? No-smoking hotel, except in designated area which happended to be just below our balconies. Could do with locating this area away from the guest who are unfortunatle enough to be allocated these rooms. 1* Please also not that there is a fine for anyone caught smoking outside this designated area 275 Euros, in compliance withthe fire certification. Trolleys left in fire path in readness for morning cleaning service. Not sure why as there are strict rules on fire paths in all hotels. I have left my most concerning comment to the last. "The Watcher" Not sure who the man who sits around the hotel watching the staff and guests alike is? If this is the owner/boss (which I am assuming he is) as a guest/holiday maker your presence was concerningly weird and made us feel very uneasy. Very rarely smiled, watching everyones movements. It was like something out of the Netfix series "The Watcher" I feel very sorry for the staff if this is the style of management they are working under. Controlling managers may yield power over workload, allowing them to exert power over the staff, rather than empowering the staff to grow and flourish. I do hope that you do take note of our observation and lighten up a little. Treat your guests/staff with respect and in return you will gain respect.

I’m struggling to condense into a few words our feelings and experience for Villa Nicolli. On paper it ticks all of the right boxes, quiet location, beautiful views, al a carte food, adults only. What it doesn’t do on paper, is show how truly fabulous this hotel is. It’s family owned and ran and it shows in bucketloads, they care about their customers and the experience they have, the staff are outstanding. I think it’s actually unkind to single out names because without exception, everyone we met was kind, courteous, and very special. The hotel itself, it’s pristine, we loved the table allocation for our stay, no more loitering around the entrance to the dining room waiting to be seated. I am so happy we upgraded to a junior suite, never before have we had three balconies in a room (315) it was spacious with lovely high ceilings and a great sized en-suite shower room. It’s a ten minute walk into the old town, slightly longer to the ferry. If you are planning to take a bus, I strongly recommend a slightly longer walk to the bus station to ensure you get a seat, the bus stops fill up quickly and the queue jumping is insane ( get elbows at the ready). I could go on forever, needless to say, our one planned trip to the north of the lake is now become a return trip.

A comfortable, spotless and well run hotel with friendly and attentive staff. Stayed for a week at half board; firm but comfortable beds and lovely buffet breakfast; the hotel is well situated to access the town and local tourist sights. The hotel provided the downloadable Garda Guest Card; essential for free travel on all Trentino region trains and buses and free entry to many museums, castles and attractions! Special thanks to the restaurant and bar staff Nicola, Maura, Cristian, Renato and Ignatio; Happy Hour’s wine and olives were an ideal prelude to the evening’s four course dinners!

We booked Villa Nicolli because it was an adult only hotel in the middle of the school holidays. Its reputation for good food and good service is well deserved. The staff are excellent, friendly and will do whatever they can to make the stay a good one. Special mention goes to Ignazio, Nicola and Suavec but 18 yr old Christian was a joy. Our room, a junior suite, was spacious and comfortable. The four course dinner was varied and tasty (we were half board). The hotel is a ten minute walk to the centre of the old town. I’d recommend this hotel.

Had a fabulous relaxing week here ; if adults only, relaxing, good food, good service is what you want then Villa Nicolli fits the bill. We had a favourite adults only hotel elsewhere that we've been to I think 7 times in the last 3 yrs.....Villa Nicolli tops it on certain aspects that we didn't see as an issue before - assigned tables for breakfast & dinner ; table service dinner which is so much more relaxing & quieter than buffet. Staff are genuinely happy you are there & aim to please. Enjoyed our chats with Suavec & Cristian. Food quality is excellent. Hotel is spotless. Great location for our first time to Lake Garda. All in all, excellent. Thank you.

A wonderful experience. We arrived during a downpour and due to access problems for a large vehicle, the coach dropped us at the end of the drive. We were greeted by a porter armed with umbrellas for everyone. We had a room on the top floor (405) with a lovely view over a vineyard. We were half board and our biggest worry around food is that my wife has coeliac disease and must observe a strict gluten free diet. We needn't have worried on that as this hotel is a member of the AIC (Italian Coeliac Association) and nearly every meal on the menu is available in a gluten free option and is served on identifiable plates. Everyone sits at the same table during their stay for breakfast and evening meal and there is a note on the table saying 'gluten free'. Such a relief for my wife. The staff are all fantastic including the cleaning, reception, dining and bar staff. It was our anniversary while we were there and at breakfast on the day, we received a kind note from the hotel and a glass of fizz at breakfast - a nice touch. The hotel is well located being just over a five minute stroll to the harbour area. We'd definitely stay here again.
