Lido Palace in Riva del Garda

Our stay at Lido Palace was truly exceptional — without a doubt one of the highlights of our entire trip. We chose to stay here as part of a special journey celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary, and the experience exceeded all expectations. Riva del Garda is a remarkable destination in itself, but the hotel elevated it to something truly unforgettable. The property is immaculate, beautifully maintained, and set in a location of extraordinary natural beauty. The view from our room was simply breathtaking and something we will not forget. What made our stay truly outstanding, however, was the level of service. Every member of the team was warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to creating a memorable experience. There is a rare sense of care and authenticity that makes you feel not only welcomed, but truly valued as a guest. The overall atmosphere is another standout feature — refined and luxurious, yet relaxed and effortlessly elegant, without any sense of unnecessary formality. It strikes a perfect balance that is not always easy to find. We also had the pleasure of enjoying some of the experiences arranged by the hotel, and they were absolutely superb. The private boat tour on the lake and the candle massage for couples were both unforgettable and added a very special dimension to our stay. Lido Palace is, quite simply, a place we would return to without hesitation — and one we will enthusiastically recommend.

The staff were incredible! Francesca and Claudia at the front desk, along with the morning maître d’ and the barman, Professional, helpful, caring, sophisticated, and full of class! We stayed at several four and five star hotels in Italy and Como before arriving here, and Lido Palace beat them all with such high qualities and regard for their clients. The breakfast buffet was one of the best. The water bottles provided for our car trip were a wonderful last touch! The views were breathtaking.

This was our first stay at Lido Palace, and it has immediately been added to our list of preferred hotels when visiting the local area. Lido Palace is an elegant and refined hotel set in a superb lakeside location, combining historic grandeur with contemporary luxury. Overall, the experience reflects the standards expected of a high-end lakeside property and works equally well for couples seeking a romantic retreat and families looking for a well-considered, comfortable stay. From arrival, the service was excellent. The front-of-house team offered a warm and professional welcome, took care of our luggage and car immediately, and ensured check-in was swift and efficient. We were given a short tour of the facilities and welcomed with a glass of wine and a warm towel, which set a relaxed and polished tone. Location The hotel enjoys an exceptional lakeside setting with beautifully maintained grounds and uninterrupted views across Lake Garda. Its proximity to local shops, restaurants, a small shopping centre and seasonal festive markets provides an abundance of choice for dining and exploring the area. A particularly convenient feature is the rear entrance and exit via the bar, which offers direct access to the local square and waterfront. This makes moving between the hotel and the town effortless and adds to the overall sense of ease and connectivity. Atmosphere The atmosphere throughout the hotel is calm, refined and understated. Despite being welcoming to families, the hotel maintains a peaceful and sophisticated ambience, with thoughtful zoning of spaces that allows different types of guests to coexist comfortably. Rooms Our room was spacious, well designed and comfortably furnished, with high-quality finishes and effective soundproofing. The bed was particularly comfortable, and overall the room was well presented. The bathroom was generously sized and well equipped. Value While Lido Palace sits at the premium end of the market, the quality of service, facilities and overall experience largely justify the price point. The combination of location, comfort and attention to detail aligns well with expectations for a hotel of this calibre. Cleanliness In general, the hotel was very clean and well maintained throughout, both in guest rooms and public areas. Noise level Noise levels were consistently low. The room benefited from good soundproofing, and public areas remained calm, contributing to a restful stay for both couples and families. Service Service was consistently professional, attentive and discreet across all areas of the hotel. Staff were approachable, well organised and clearly focused on guest comfort. Amenities Despite the abundance of dining options nearby, we also chose to dine on site and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Probably one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The staff is perfect, everyone is so kind and genuinely welcoming. The rooms are beautiful, the beds are incredibly comfortable, and the views from the hotel are absolutely majestic. The location couldn’t be better, right in the heart of Riva del Garda with the most stunning scenery all around.

The food at the restaurant is exceptional. I had the best tiramisu and risotto of my life here. Every meal felt special, and the staff made us feel completely at home throughout our stay.

The spa is amazing and has every feature you could think of. It’s the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. If you are ever visiting Italy, I highly recommend staying at Lido Palace in Riva del Garda. It’s truly unforgettable.

We were in Riva del Garda for a wedding. The Lido’s location speaks for itself. There was a sailing championship going on while we were there and the views of all the action from our room and the grounds were a treat. Staff uniformly went out of their way - parking, front desk, restaurant and housekeeping to make us welcome. Only niggle was construction going on across the street which woke my wife at 7 am one morning.

Lunch at Lido Palace was the perfect way to pass the time while it was raining heavily outside for most of the day. The food was delicious, so fresh and tasty, and beautifully presented which made it a feast for the eyes as well as the taste buds. It was my husband's birthday and I wanted to pamper him a little. We were very well taken care of with each of the staff very friendly and professional which made us feel very welcome. We will return! Thank you.

Very nice property and great location! Rooms, facilities and food was all great. Can park your car and walk around town and hikes nearby. Will definitely come back

We are staying at lido palace right now and I usually write my review after our stay but I couldn’t help write a review right now Our stay is exceptional the rooms the service is excellent And I want to praise Christopher at the front desk he’s amazing and handled our stay with such care that made me want to book here again and again I definitely will miss lido palace
