It was a wonderful place to spend time with the family. We were 9 people (5 children) and everyone enjoyed the villa!

Our apartment was at the top of the tower and had great views of the countryside. It was comfortable and had a lovely pool.
Martin was excellent, we had an all day power cut on our last day, he arranged another place to stay and also took us there.
Would recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay in the top-apartement of Villa Somelli. What a great panoramic view. The apartment was perfect and had everything you needed. The swimmingpool and the garden are beautifull. Francesco was very nice and made us feel very welcome. The trainstation is 5 minutes by car (you can park the car for 3 euros at the station). Firenze, Lucca and Siena are all close (within one hour) and beautifull to visit. Don't forget that the last train goes around 21.20!

Nice house, limited privacy, no internet available and very limited to no assistance

Unfortunately not a good experience with the host. We had agreed on a time when we could arrive. Francesco met us and told us to wait by the pool until the booked room was ready. After two hours we wanted to ask, nobody was there anymore. All of a sudden we got an email from the booking portal that the reservation had been cancelled. Almost while we were waiting and our luggage was already in the anteroom. No explanation, no on-site assistance. Francesco did not respond to calls or letters. Only thanks to the customer service from the booking portal we found a new accommodation nearby. Very sad and cowardly behavior. No recommendation!

Great place with very friendly people and amazing views. It's also very quiet due to it being off the main roads, and that makes you able to relax totally. Besides that, the apartment is very clean and has all the basic needs. Would definitely recommend to stay here.
