A very artistically decorated hotel that leaves a lasting impression. The breakfast was excellent and varied, and the rooms were clean, tidy, and spacious. The overall atmosphere of the hotel truly makes it memorable.
I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel this past July for almost a week with the recommendation of Enrique. When I first arrived along with my husband, the people at the front of the door helped open the door
My favorite part of the hotel was the breakfast buffet. In my opinion, it is better than the ones in America. It was nice to try the coffee with their coffee machines. Might I add, not all hotels offer a juicer
The hotel is located right on the edge of the Old Town, making it super convenient and close for walking there (about 10-15 minutes on foot to get into the Old Town). I think the location is really good
Room was great with a nice patio overlooking a section of the Arno River. The location of the hotel is very nice as it is walking distance to the River. I even walked there during sunset hour
The hotel is also within walking distance to all the attractions. I recommend it because the hotel facilities are new, the surroundings are quiet, and it's convenient for getting around
It’s important to know that most people drive and when you arrive they ask you to empty your car by reception, the staff label it, and then golf carts come to collect everything with your name and bring to your room
Kind lady on the phone was exceptionally attentive to our request as well as the parking lady of the hotel greeted us with
The air conditioning works well and we had a lot of space in our room and balcony to relax. The room service every day is excellent, very fast and they do a good job. If you are not ground floor, the only way up is steps
There is a lot of healthy food choices as well as mountains of pasta, pizza, cakes, and other delicious treats. Many nights have a theme, like seafood night, and the choices leave nothing to be desired
Hotel and SPA team was just awesome! Sauna, Hammam, massages, baubles bath, little snacks and tea offered. We are very grateful, you made our day so relaxed and resourceful
The hotel is spread across many buildings, but nothing is too far to walk, it is a very nice design like a small village. Everyday the children’s entertainment is excellent
Great location! All tourism spots are in walkable distance! And we enjoyed walking around the city very much! Their facilities are amazing, swimming pool and gym room are located on the roof top which gives us the best view of Firenze
The room is gorgeous. Clean and full of amenities. The service is good too. Complementary laundry is essential for me as I do not need to carry lots of clothing. The environment is vibrant and full of youngsters.
Just a few hundred meters from the hotel is Piazza della Libertà, which isn't crowded with tourists and is definitely worth a visit. If I come back to Florence, I'll definitely stay here again
This hotel is a wonderful choice for a comfortable stay, with a great vibe throughout. One of the highlights is the stunning rooftop lounge and pool area, offering breathtaking views of the city
This hotel is a renovated old building, and the ceilings must be at least four meters high, giving it a 'new wine in an old bottle' kind of feel, which is absolutely fantastic
The rooftop bar has reasonable prices, and on the day I arrived, I actually won a free drink – what a lucky draw! The hotel also offers free laundry, which is a huge plus

Although the hotel is located around 5 km from the city centre, the complimentary daily shuttle van made getting into town very convenient and stress-free
Nice location -- convenient if you drive to the city.
Good breakfast -- an abundant choice for a proper start to the day.
Quiet and clean room.
service not good except t for the shuttle service which was exceptionally good , the drivers know what customer service is all about. The room cleaning was not done well. The bed was not turned for the night
2) BEWARE: the whirlpool is not free!! It costs 20 euro per person. 3) We had some issues with our ac. Although we were able to adjust the settings and to put it on, it kept on going off after 10 minutes or so
Overall, it was convenient and suitable, though a bit noisy since it's right by the road.
now you might tell me, bro, 10 euro!!! that's nothing. And you might be right, but still, it just seems like a small way for this hotel to make another 10 euro per customer when the parking can just be free

The food during our evening meal and for breakfast was really good. The only downside was that during check in we asked for a taxi to be booked to the airport the following morning
The hotel is very clean, and there's complimentary water in the room. The soundproofing isn't too bad either
We'll definitely come back, but if you're driving, try to arrive early, otherwise you might not find a parking spot. The paid parking garage is a bit of a downside
They have upgraded us to the most expensive room to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The front desk staff are so friendly and accommodating. We were so tired from a travel and had a good night sleep
Lovely room, comfortable bed and pillows. Staff were friendly and professional, especially the barman, who also worked in the restaurant in the evening and the following morning at breakfast
On checking out we were informed it was not possible to book a taxi in advance and one had to be booked then. It didn't end up being problem, but it would have been better if we were told this when we checked in

The towels are the biggest and comfiest I've ever seen! Breakfast every morning is delicious, don't miss out
great location friendly staff. the hotel helped a lot with the luggage. all the basic amenities were available in the room. like we really needed the electric kettle in the room which was available without any deposit
Excellent hotel, very friendly staff, very good location, all of Florence is in walking distance. Nice room, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was very good.
Check-in was seem less, staff is accommodating, and the location is central to everything! I've been walking distance to everywhere I've wanted to see. Room is spacious and meets my needs
Good location close to the train station and the historic city centre. The room is clean and spacious with good air conditioning and a nice bathroom. The staff are helpful and friendly
Comfortable and clean, breakfast was high quality with a lot of choice and staff were nice. The lobby and bar was very comfortable and really good to hang out in.
Perfection - From the moment we walked in to the moment we left you guys knew are name and we’re nothing but polite and professional through out are whole stay! On top of that the hotel was amazing, clean and perfectly located
We only stopped in for a drink after dinner but beautiful hotel, bar and lobby. Can’t speak about the rooms but I’m sure they’re beautiful. Centrally located in Florence on Borgo Pinti. Hope to stay here one day
They paid attention to the smallest details and always made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. A special mention goes to Rachelle at the reception. She was more than helpful and incredibly kind throughout our stay
I booked one night through AMEX with an upgrade to a suite, four categories above the standard room, exactly as shown in the photos. The hotel is absolutely stunning and the welcome we received was exceptional
Because the specific treatment I requested was not available, the hotel generously sent many beautiful gifts to the room. The suite itself was extremely luxurious and comfortable
The rooms are absolutely beautiful – spacious, elegant, and thoughtfully designed, with every detail carefully considered to make you feel comfortable and relaxed

Hotel is better then some people thinking. Main loby, restaurant and 6th floor where I stay looks like after renovation one ore maybe two years ago. I had 2 or 3 mosquitos in my room, but there was repelent to plug in
Aside from the location, which is a bit further from the city center, the hotel is really great. It's outside the ZTL (limited traffic zone) and further from the center
The hotel is nice, and parking is convenient. It would be even better if the breakfast could be improved, maybe by adding some fruit or something.
The room was very large and comfortable, and the hotel was clean and smelled nice. Breakfast and the staff were attentive
Its in the middle of the highway. Worked perfectly for me. If you dont have a car its difficult location.
very good hotel near the airport with private free parking for customers

The staff is absolutely the highlight: food at the poolside restaurant was above and beyond what I've seen anywhere (fish cooked to juicy perfection is a notable example); Filiberto the sommelier was amazing at proposing, presenting and discussing wines; all staff was at the highest level I've seen in a while
The only minus was a tiny shower but that can hardly detract from the overall experience. The spa and pools are also at a very high level of service and cleanliness
The food is really good, and you can’t beat the beach location! Be sure to check out the spa, it’s worth spending a few hours in. Definitely will come again for another relaxing stay
We had a lovely time during our stay. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating with anything that we needed
Our room had an excellent view, but the rooms and property are in need of updating. The service at the Ombra Della Serra restaurant was friendly, but the food was just ok
If proximity to the beach is what is most important, the location is good

But DO NOT EAT dinner at this hotel- our dinner really was horrible and for 70 euros just a waste of money. We were just here in November 2025, the beach was empty but beautiful, the town is basically closed up
Check in was fine. We were given good information about the spa hours and also advice about what to see along the coastal area
We liked our room, yes the shower is a bit small but fine. The spa is lovely! Waters not as hot as in California but the pool jets felt great
To get a towel for the pool is 5 euro! There are no outlets near the bed to change your phone. I had to pay for 6 nights in advance and I am regretting it
We had a wonderful four days in this amazing beach hotel with its swimming pools and the amazing spa. Be sure to bring your shower caps. Great service from Gabriel and Gataneo along with the great breakfast crew
Lovely to be able to relax at the pool and get access to the beach club. Within easy distance by bus to Pisa too
Only annoyance was the towel card/depositum system - especially since it was impractical and the staff was unable to explain it properly. Staff did not speak/ understand English very well (some not at all)
Everything is very clean, property in good condition, nice place to stay
Nice hotel, room was spacious and clean although perhaps a little bit dated (a refurb would make it even better). Restaurant was great, I really did enjoy the food. Outdoor swimming pool was nice
A good place to stay close to the beach and with a good pool area. The breakfast was very good and the rooms okay
Great place where to spend your holidays. Positives: great personnel from the reception to the pool bar and the dinner service
Nice bar is on the top floor, and also a swimming pool. Breakfast is extensive, everything is available. A few steps from the hotel to the beach. Swimming pools are closed during the winter time
During the 3 days of our stay, the maid did not vacuum the floor, as the hotel is near the beach and there was quite a lot of sand in the room
Good choice as it is really close to the beach, and the breakfast is included which is a big advantage.
As previously mentioned based on our own experiences this is definitely not 5 stars probably 3/4 stars. Service not brilliant however room ok, pool area lovely. A lot of choice but not 5 stars
breakfast was great , very spacious and many menus so I literally have enjoyed well and then I walked out to the beach side and saw many people are walking alongside the beach, location is good
one last thing, why the wifi passcode is every 6~7 hours being changed?? this is absolutely unnecessary and made me really irritating as I did not know why the internet is not working, please change this for...
The hotel is beautifully located, right in front of the beach. It has two nice swimming pools, including a spectacular rooftop pool. The hotel is designed to be stylish, but there are some minor flaws
We had a good time at this hotel. Hotel is walking distance to the touristy Florence area and a 15 min walk to the train station. Highlight was them having a nice cozy area on the rooftop with a small pool
It was a nice hotel, costco recommended, nice rooftop pool with a beautiful view of Florence Italy, decent buffet breakfast with a lot if choices
The toilet ran constantly, and the shower had a broken seal at the bottom of the glass, which caused water to flood the floor—we had to use most of our towels to soak it up
Would recommend this hotel for its convenience, it was a 15 minute walk to the train station and right along the river. It was also a 15 minute driver from the airport and walkable to all major attractions in Florence
The room itself was pretty standard, nothing out of the ordinary but we did enjoy the breakfast buffet in the morning
Easy walk from train station. Quiet, but safe area. Hallways were a bit damp and carpets need a refresh. Breakfast was good with efficient service. Very good hotel, but nothing that really stands out.
Great resort. Swimmingpool & gym are ok the rest is excellent.
Amazing property 10 out of 10
What can I say!!!! Best hotel, Amazing service from check in staff who are amazing and welcoming. They are super helpful and friendly. The manager was amazing, so helpful and accommodating
We have been coming here for the 4 th time now as it is great and upscaled. It is part of the i prefer hotels. Only my gps keeps taking me to a different location thinking we arrived, but the street is closed
Management is superb , and waiters are very highly trained to make guests feel special. Egor was great in particular as he is fast , attentive, and super friendly
She helps , and pay attention to little details to make your time great and always with a smile. Restaurant staff were amazing and attentive
Restaurants, breakfast, dinner, lunch all had great selections. They even arranged couple massages for us on the panoramic terrace

A truly excellent hotel chain. Free parking, quick check-in, and no problem with children. It has an outdoor pool and is a 10-minute drive from the city. Highly recommended.
Breakfast every morning was more than we expected with a decent variety of foods. The pool was refreshing especially after a 40 degree day in the sun. We truly enjoyed our stay here
It was sufficient to start the day, but don’t expect a standout dining experience. The hotel features a pool, which is a great amenity, but it’s quite small and can feel crowded if multiple guests are using it
The hotel includes breakfast in the room rate, which is a nice touch, but the selection was disappointing. The food lacked variety and quality, with limited options that didn’t cater to diverse tastes
Check-in and check-out were smooth, and basic requests were handled efficiently. Overall, this hotel is a good pick for those prioritizing affordability and clean, spacious rooms
I recently stayed at this hotel and found it to be a solid choice for budget-conscious travelers. The price was very reasonable, offering great value for the quality provided

Breakfast is great and the staff are very welcoming. The pool area is perfect for 100% relaxation and reading. A nice walk to local restaurants and shops and a great train connection to visit other areas as well
Beautiful hotel, well maintained and very clean. We had lovely room with balcony overlooking the pool, and was bigger than expected
Lovely outdoor pool with a few sun loungers and pleasant garden area. Would definitely stay here again
Centrally located, a short walk to lots of restaurants and bars and couple minutes walk to the park. The Thai spa was excellent and easy to book. Breakfast is continental style, and adequate
We stayed at the hotel for 10 nights, this is our third time to stay. We love the relaxed and quiet atmosphere at the hotel. Our room, a suite was very comfortable with lots of room
Your staff were welcoming and helpful. The hotel is located within waling distance of other restaurants and shops. Streets are well-lit and street lights allow for safe crossing
We understand it will be changing ownership so to the owner: thank you for years of joy! To the new owners: what they’ve been doing works! We look forward to continuing our patronage
Nice hotel with beautiful gardens and a terrace where you can relax having a beer and enjoying the view of the Siena City. Rooms are fine, good beds and bathroom OK
The pool is the highlight of the property. The restaurant staff are friendly compared to the surly reception staff
Excellent swimming pool with good depth range. Fantastic bar snacks and helpful staff and best of all was the evening dining experience
Staff very friendly with just one exception that seemed to be not having the best day but, in general, nice people. Specially the man from the US that serves in the hotel bar (I am sorry I did not ask him his name)
The hotel is full of character and is a typical Italian villa. The staff were helpful and friendly particularly the bar staff. We loved the large terrace and the wonderful swimming pool

Go there! The price is a bit high - but what you pay is what you get. This place emphasis value for money
perfecto for couples.
I like the scent of there especially
Stayed 4 nights with family and kids. One of the best hotels in the world. The service is superb, always there when needed anything. The housekeeping cleans the room twice or more a day
The oldest hotel, the suites are very nice, recommended.
A wonderful hotel. I love this chain and the Florence, which is the flagship. Very clean and beautiful. The hot breakfast options were a bit lacking. I'll definitely be back.
Breakfast is always just two types of vegetables, monotonous, and with a very low cost-to-value ratio compared to the price. The toilet paper often doesn’t flush properly
We were so impressed, we canceled the French leg of our honeymoon to stay in Italy because we were so spoiled with the friendliness of the Grand Hotel Principe di Piemonte that we decided to stay at another Italian LHW property
We went to the Grand Hotel Principe di Piemonte to celebrate New Year’s Eve. At first, I was quite skeptical about this idea, but once we arrived, we were immediately welcomed in a very warm and friendly way
We know that it is a great job but not in all hotels, no matter how many stars and categories they have, the workers are so friendly and attentive. We want to thank all the staff for how they treat their clients
During dinner, there was a live music concert, mainly jazz, my favorite genre, so I was more than happy to listen to my favorite melodies, surrounded by people joyfully dancing and smiling
After enjoying a wonderful 90°C sauna (according to the Russian tradition before New Year’s Eve), I got ready for dinner, which turned out to be astonishing in every way
My husband & I were coming to Italy for the 1st time and our travel agent recommended the Hotel Principe di Piemonte-I had honestly had never heard of Viareggio-but what a wonderful surprise! The hotel was superb in every way

We didn’t use the pool so I can’t comment on that. This hotel is a good base for travelling around Tuscany. As I said it’s clean but very tired
Excellent helpful staff. Ideally positioned to explore the area. Traditional stay in a beautiful area.
The room was painted completely orange, including the ceiling, this made the bedroom feel very dark and the bedroom lights were not very bright, the bedhead was damaged where, what looked like motifs, had been pulled off the fabric, the furniture was very old, which we accepted as maybe it was the Tuscan style, the curtains were very thin
We had a balcony but there was a leak from the balcony above which we thought may have been coming from the air conditioning unit , so you couldn’t sit out as you got splashed with water, the view was pretty over the town and up to Montecatini Alto
The safe didn’t work, my wife rang reception and a member of staff came very promptly to fix it, half way through the week we decided not to trust it anymore as it seemed to have a mind of its own and stopped using it
On arrival at the hotel we didn’t need to wait long for our room to be ready and went up to see what it was like
