Inexpensive accomodations in Tuscany

It happened to be my birthday when I checked into the Hilton Hotel. Even though I hadn't informed them in advance, the hotel still prepared a surprise for me and gave me two bar drink coupons.

The staff were incredibly friendly, proactive, and helpful throughout my stay. They kindly assisted me with my luggage and were very supportive during both check-in and check-out

We chose this hotel because it was only about 10 minutes from the airport, which made it very convenient for staying in Florence the night before our flight home

The staff of the hotel was very nice and welcoming. We really enjoyed that they had a shuttle that would take us to the tram to get down to the city center

Although the hotel is located around 5 km from the city centre, the complimentary daily shuttle van made getting into town very convenient and stress-free

Dear DoubleTree by Hilton Florence Team, I just wanted to express my appreciation for the wonderful service during my recent stay

It's near the airport, but very quiet. Parking is free, but there are actually very few free spaces on the ground floor. The basement is charged, and the fee is not cheap, more than 100 RMB per night

The room was very clean and the price was right. You can order a glass of red wine and some cookies or chocolates. It's really comfortable to sit quietly for a while

This is not written in the parking lot. If the ground floor is full, it will be very embarrassing. You either give in or don't park

The front desk was very friendly and took us to nearby restaurants

Hygiene: better than other ibis hotels, good smell on corridor, which is appreciated Location: Bus 30A/ 30B / 30F can arrive a bus stop which is 10 mins walking distance from here, Bus 66 connects the hotel and the tram station (one stop from airport), IKEA is nearby too, please note that there is only one pedestrian crossing on the main road, however, both ways requires long traveling time from city...

The new management of this hotel is really valid....staff were friendly and the location is great...we tried anke the Spa and we were happy!

I purchased a groupon for the restaurant, and after reading some of the reviews I had come to panic. Then we decided to try it and honestly it went well. The staff is friendly and the service commendable

The food in spite of what the age reported on the opinions was good. For sure nn is a restaurant of a 4 star hotel, but maybe it's better that way

We had a good time at this hotel. Hotel is walking distance to the touristy Florence area and a 15 min walk to the train station. Highlight was them having a nice cozy area on the rooftop with a small pool

Have good facilities include gym, the rooftop pool and bar is the highlight of the hotel, beautiful view of Firenze and sunset, they serve a small buffet with drink for euro 20 on thursday, a must to go

They would call cabs for us any time we needed and addressed any of our needs. My only complaint was that the beds were very uncomfortable. The mattresses were very thin and you could feel the springs

Rooms and bathrooms were spacious. It’s a bit outside of city center so may need a cab if unable to walk 25 min. The front desk staff were always so kind and helpful

Had a constant challenge to get milk and coffee replaced every day! The swimming pool was closed and this was not made obvious at time of booking and felt misled

Great hotel, I'd recommend it! Our flight got cancelled, and the hotel was very responsive and checked us in smoothly when we finally did arrive. Room was clean and a decent size (very tall walls) and we had a balcony

Her assistance, from providing clear directions to the entrance over the phone, to warmly welcoming us, facilitating our seamless check-in, and ensuring our comfort throughout our stay, was truly remarkable

They held our luggage for about 5 hours before check-in so we could tour Florence without carrying our luggage around. The room was great! The A/C worked extremely well

Easy walking distance to bars and restaurants in the center (10 minutes) The Funicolare to Montecantini Alto is also just 15 minutes by feet away

Air Condition in the room worked very well. Pool could have more sun chairs as it was like all the time crowded during our stay in August

Set in a quiet area and an easy short walk into town. Nice pool but very few sun loungers and not very much shade. Good continental breakfast which can be taken on the outside terrace if you want to

Hotel is outside city Can easily be reached by car with gogle maps. Must take taxi(parking is expensive in Arezzo plus you have to pay for parking, gasoline(benzina) etc Cost to go in 10 euro

Excellent hotel, new room furniture, spacious bathroom and excellent cleaning. Abundant breakfast with sweets, cereals, yogurt, cold cuts and more, too bad they didn't have soy milk for the intolerant

I have just returned from three days in Chianciano Terme and I stayed with other friends at this hotel. If I had given credit to the reviews I would not have booked 4 rooms for me and my friends

Very good dinner, large portions. Too bad the hotel doesn't have a private car park, in Chianciano all car parks are subject to charges or you can only park for an hour or two

In light of this, I recommend staying at this location before expressing untrue and unfair judgments

Great Hotel with lovely amenities

We stayed only one night, but we loved the hotel. The two ladies in the reception were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was beyond of our expectation. Room was comfortable and clean

The room was much bigger than I expected, the bathroom was also big, the amenities were really on point. To anyone travelling to Firenze, I strongly recommend this place

The room was massive, beautifully appointed, good bed, whirlpool bath, there was an additional room with multiple function shower/steam room and Massage beds which lead onto a spacious terrace, it’s a unique room

The only addition we would suggest is a night bar, after you have eaten, it would be nice to sit in the area around the reception and have a drink or coffee, without trying to find the restaurant staff, who have enough on their plate, no pun intended

The food was excellent, service was good, staff worked very hard looking after 3 dining locations. The grounds were large and beautifully maintained, the pool area is exceptional with wonderful views over the countryside

Breathtaking Beautiful Tuscany views of rolling hills with vineyards & olive trees. Really nice restaurant onsite. Would recommend a car to get from one town to another.

There is a shuttle service to the centre and back for those who do not wish to walk. It costs around 8€ to get from the hotel to the city center The room is spacious, clean, and feels very authentic

From the moment we had arrived, we were smitten by very helpful (travel agency did not make our reservation clear), knowledgeable (thanks for all the recommendations from where to go and where to eat as a family) and ultimately extremely caring staff

Note that the hotel area is serene and quiet, not suitable if you're looking for a wild time The hotel is right outside the hustle and bustle of the city centre, yet close enough to walk to the center

Finally the staff is awesome very friendly, eager to help. The shuttle service to Florence is nice. Very nearby you have the michelangiolo plaza from which you have even better views of Florence

Since I was badly hurt and unable to leave Florence, I needed to extend my stay. The staff understood my situation and upgraded my room to a more spacious one, which made it much easier for the doctors to visit me

The breakfast was good; the server even came over to ask what kind of coffee I'd prefer. If your budget allows, I'd recommend booking a larger room, as the economy room is truly tiny

Unsure of what to do, I returned to the hotel to ask for help, at least for some ice to treat the injury. The staff were supportive, even though my stay had ended

I travelled solo but as part of a coach trip. Some didn’t like the hotel but I really enjoyed it. It was a bit quirky but I like that. My room was large and immaculately clean as was the shower room

Great hotel, delicious food with large portions. Breakfast was also excellent, nothing to complain about. And a good, spotlessly clean room with air conditioning. The beds were a bit hard, that's the only downside

The only tiny problem was the slightly uncomfortable mattress but I sorted that out and had a much better sleep at night. The breakfast was fantastic and set you up for the day

Terrific staff, food good, great views, scrupulously clean. Room had a few quirks eg the only power socket was behind a piece of furniture and the light switches had a mind of their own

I didn’t explore a huge amount as I was out every day but would certainly return under my own steam and explore some more of the town. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable stay

As promised we returned for the third time, just returned, July '21, we confirm everything previously said, a week in this hotel satisfies more than a month in other places

I am here now, location, structure, hospitality, staff, food, all at the highest level, you feel pampered and you always have the feeling of receiving more than you spend

And it really can only be like this, we left it shortly after a week spent wonderfully! The very nice structure, the extremely courteous and helpful staff on everything

Added to this are spectacular dinners and a staff of out-of-the-ordinary courtesy, since we have a small child, they have facilitated us in everything even on the menu

More than anything else, the wonderful view we enjoyed from the terrace of our room, overlooking the pool and the sea, was already worth the whole holiday

The only drawback that for those who do two weeks like us, we ate the same menu as the first week as the menu is repeated for the following week normal breakfast coffee or cappuccino made with a bar machine, managed by the barman Vincenzo always available and professional beach at the Petite Europe Lido excellent and with services, there is also a swimming pool, the distance from the hotel is 250 flat...

the only drawback is the parking as the hotel does not have it even if it says it does on the website, you have to look for it (in the adjacent streets or in front of the beach in the evening) but it is not the hotel

Animation only two boys Francesco and Marco who try to entertain guests and work hard but being few and not having many means, they mostly take care of the children and make some shows
