Where to stay with kids in Tuscany

This is our third time with Baba! We want to thank the animation team a lot, the girls and guys who do the baby dance are amazing and our little girl was absolutely in love with all of them! My 18 months daughter and us as parents had everything we needed for relax, in this joyful and perfect organised resort! Room was recently renovated, all the amenities were well maintained, the food was very good, but particular mention of honour goes to the overall organization, from the cleaning staff, to the one at the restaurant and the reception and the animation

The tennis court and mini golf was fun but the main highlight was the people, especially the entertainment team who engage so well with the children and my two (aged ten and seven) who have not really done kids clubs before and were nervous to try it, LOVED it! Which meant some peaceful time on the beach for me ☺️ Thank you Canado Club, our stay was perfect P

The beach service and pools were more than enough, but they had a lot of other activities. Staff was wonderful and food was top notch. We stayed for 10 days and it wasn’t enough!

This place was great! We have a family with 4 kids ages 0,3,6,9. There was something for everyone! Kids club at night and in the morning

Canado is a great place for family holidays, staff is always so polite helpfull and attentive with any questions and requests.

Accommodation we had through Eurocamp was too far from the pool etc which made it a bit of a mission

The pools were clean and the slides were fun for our kids. The supermarket on site was ok, quite expensive for some items but generally ok. Food onsite was nice but very overpriced for what you get

The animation team were friendly and entertained the kids. It isn't top class entertainment but they give it their all. Bars on site are really expensive. A plastic cup of beer costs 6 euro and it is not even a pint

The camp itself is really nice. Check in was good and prompt and the walk in was long but the surroundings are really nice. Pool areas are very nice and not once did we fail to get a decent set of beds by the pool

Good campsite but got VERY busy in the pools. Perhaps they could restrict ball games outside of one of the main pools so people could swim and not get smacked on the head with balls

On check out at 10am we wanted to go back in to get a ticket to go to San Vincenzo on the bus and we were refused and they rudely asked us for our wristbands and she cut them off with a smirk on her face as if we were going to go back in against their wishes

Very large with lots to do including a shed stocked with toys. - pool was a descent size and not too busy. The little one liked the baby section attached to the main pool

We stayed for a week at the Golden Hotel and Apartments in a well equipped self catering apartment. Great place - spotlessly clean, excellent location and lovely pool area

We were a family of 4 (two adults and two children aged 8 and 2). The hotel was overall a great experience and we hope to be back. There were a few things which could be improved like all stays

Facilities - washing machine and dryer were €3. 50 per use (buy tokens at reception). Dryer doesn’t work and it’s quicker to dry them in the sun on the terrace/balcony. - kids playground was very impressive

We were ground floor with the entrance facing the pool. The terrace was large with table, chairs, outdoor sink and clothes airer. You could open the kitchen and double bedroom door to it

We had plenty of space and meant that when the kids were in bed we had full use of the kitchen. The two bathrooms with showers were also great, especially getting in from the beach. The room location was fantastic

A very artistically decorated hotel that leaves a lasting impression. The breakfast was excellent and varied, and the rooms were clean, tidy, and spacious. The overall atmosphere of the hotel truly makes it memorable.

My favorite part of the hotel was the breakfast buffet. In my opinion, it is better than the ones in America. It was nice to try the coffee with their coffee machines. Might I add, not all hotels offer a juicer

The hotel is located right on the edge of the Old Town, making it super convenient and close for walking there (about 10-15 minutes on foot to get into the Old Town). I think the location is really good

Room was great with a nice patio overlooking a section of the Arno River. The location of the hotel is very nice as it is walking distance to the River. I even walked there during sunset hour

The hotel is also within walking distance to all the attractions. I recommend it because the hotel facilities are new, the surroundings are quiet, and it's convenient for getting around

Special mention though to the performance of Peter Pan the hotel team did, especially the actors in the leading roles of Peter and Wendy. The sport facilities are also excellent

It’s important to know that most people drive and when you arrive they ask you to empty your car by reception, the staff label it, and then golf carts come to collect everything with your name and bring to your room

Every night there was live music near the pool, dances for the kids, and shows in the theater that included a concert by Joe Romano and the Stolen Clippers--it was phenomenal! The service was really top-notch, with the resort being so generous with the meals they provide and always catering to the guests' comfort, really making us feel right at home

Great location! All tourism spots are in walkable distance! And we enjoyed walking around the city very much! Their facilities are amazing, swimming pool and gym room are located on the roof top which gives us the best view of Firenze

The room is gorgeous. Clean and full of amenities. The service is good too. Complementary laundry is essential for me as I do not need to carry lots of clothing. The environment is vibrant and full of youngsters.

Just a few hundred meters from the hotel is Piazza della Libertà, which isn't crowded with tourists and is definitely worth a visit. If I come back to Florence, I'll definitely stay here again

This hotel is a renovated old building, and the ceilings must be at least four meters high, giving it a 'new wine in an old bottle' kind of feel, which is absolutely fantastic

The rooftop bar has reasonable prices, and on the day I arrived, I actually won a free drink – what a lucky draw! The hotel also offers free laundry, which is a huge plus

Although the hotel is located around 5 km from the city centre, the complimentary daily shuttle van made getting into town very convenient and stress-free

service not good except t for the shuttle service which was exceptionally good , the drivers know what customer service is all about. The room cleaning was not done well. The bed was not turned for the night

2) BEWARE: the whirlpool is not free!! It costs 20 euro per person. 3) We had some issues with our ac. Although we were able to adjust the settings and to put it on, it kept on going off after 10 minutes or so

Overall, it was convenient and suitable, though a bit noisy since it's right by the road.

We stayed in a superior room however the television kept on switching off automatically and also the bathroom door was in very poor quality. The hotel was pretty nice, and the room was pretty good as well

We'll definitely come back, but if you're driving, try to arrive early, otherwise you might not find a parking spot. The paid parking garage is a bit of a downside

In 3 minute you could arrive to a cheaper parking served by the subway T2 that in 15 minute will take you to the city center, very convenient if you have a car

We had good hospitalities at this hotel during our stay. Since all receptionists are so kind, we are very comfortable whenever we ask our favors

The food during our evening meal and for breakfast was really good. The only downside was that during check in we asked for a taxi to be booked to the airport the following morning

There was a small issue with the coffee machine, but the staff resolved it very quickly. The hotel is located a bit outside the city center, but the pool and jacuzzi during winter are an experience you simply cannot miss

The staff is absolutely the highlight: food at the poolside restaurant was above and beyond what I've seen anywhere (fish cooked to juicy perfection is a notable example); Filiberto the sommelier was amazing at proposing, presenting and discussing wines; all staff was at the highest level I've seen in a while

The only minus was a tiny shower but that can hardly detract from the overall experience. The spa and pools are also at a very high level of service and cleanliness

The food is really good, and you can’t beat the beach location! Be sure to check out the spa, it’s worth spending a few hours in. Definitely will come again for another relaxing stay

We had a good time at this hotel. Hotel is walking distance to the touristy Florence area and a 15 min walk to the train station. Highlight was them having a nice cozy area on the rooftop with a small pool

Would recommend this hotel for its convenience, it was a 15 minute walk to the train station and right along the river. It was also a 15 minute driver from the airport and walkable to all major attractions in Florence

REALLY well done and again, staff is as good as the food! Top pool is not meant to be a "pool" per se as it is only 30 something inches deep but enough to cool off as you lounge in luxury to view the city, beach, sunset all the while you sip away at a Spritz
