Tuscany is a beautiful place surrounded by mountains. Terme di Saturnia is a very special place due to the thermal water that comes from the Roman times. Very classic small rooms but great service. Bathrooms are clean but the style is old. Location is a bit far 20 min walk from the center but they offer a shuttle car till midnight to the center and back, just call them. Their beach club (all sun bed tents by rent) is nice but no music.

Service was outstanding…staff was very kind, concierge team were TOP….but the property doesn’t merit the cost. We got an upgrade, but when you cannot sleep, size of the room doesn’t really matter… Mattress is not “five star” (but the rates are), the noise outside means you take an afternoon nap and the AC cannot cool the room on a hot summer day. As befits a 5-star hotel, the service was the best! If you travel to Europe, you will know when you check out, but you have to pay additional taxes, so check it out and travel. And the spa is 40 euros (per person), so I recommend doing it.
