Located right in the heart of old town Florence just a few steps from all the shops restaurants and museums. Our stay at Donati was perfect. Our suite was beautiful large and very comfortable. This is the most 5 star, 4 start hotel I’ve ever been to. From the minute we walked in, until the minute we left, the staff was incredible and kind. The hotel room was immaculate. So clean. Smelled so good. The rooftop pool, bar, restaurant was so nice and fairly priced for such a nice hotel. The staff was always eager to ensure we were satisfied and happy. This place was very nice and clean. Staff were very friendly and unhelpful. We had a hard time finding the nearby parking lot so we called the phone number provided and someone answered quickly and gave us directions to find the parking lot. The room was very nice and spacious. They do offer breakfast for a fee in your room, but they do not have a restaurant on site. Wish they had a continental breakfast

There was a bottle of prosecco to welcome us and attentive service during our four- night stay. The location couldn’t be better. We were able to easily walk to all the sights and museums on our wish list. The rooftop terrace was a special treat with excellent views all around. Comfortable beds. I have not found the rooms to be clean. In one corner of the room, the plaster on the wall had fallen off. No extra outlets available for charging phones and smart watches. The location is top! The hotel has a perfect location at the heart of Florence. It is just nearby the river. There is a common balcony at the second floor that you can watch the river. Very nice. I stayed in the junior suite, it had a large bed and also a smaller one good for a family with kid. The views were stunning, the jacuzzi tub was divine. 5 min walk to Ufizzi. Amazing breakfast. Pricey but worth it.

The front desk guy, Santiago, was incredibly nice. He'd traveled to China for a month before, and seeing we were Chinese, he was incredibly friendly. We stayed for a week at the Golden Hotel and Apartments in a well equipped self catering apartment. Great place - spotlessly clean, excellent location and lovely pool area. We had 2 breakfasts and 2 evening meals and the food and service was excellent. Really helpful and friendly staff. Cecina is a great place - not over the top chic but great choice of restaurants and the local beach is good.

Resting a couple of days between the cityhoppings. The hotel is well maintained with a close proximity from the port of Cecina. Our room was spacious and included jacuzzi. The staff was helpful and friendly.

The kind manager recommended restaurants and gelato shops. Every place was lovely and the food was delicious. The hotel room was also clean and well-appointed. It was comfortable. It was also nice that there were two showers and two toilets.

Good location, quiet and rather convenient - 20min walk (a rather bumpy one though because of the rich streets) or two bus stops from Santa Maria Novella (Florence train station), 15m from Santa Maria Duomo and Galleria Academia, and 10m from Uffizi. There are also plenty nice restaurants, gelataria, and bars in the area, for which you only have to follow recommendations from the host and google map...

This apartment hotel has better privacy, a large jacuzzi, and simple kitchen supplies. It feels safer than the hotel in Florence.

The room is super big, really luxurious. The location is super convenient, 300 meters away from the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore. There is a supermarket and a restaurant downstairs, which is very convenient.

This was an amazing find in the wonderful historic center of Lucca. It is a private Palace with gorgeous historic rooms, easy parking for our one car and a wonderful welcome from both the owner and staff. It is in the center of the historic area and could not have been more perfect. The bedrooms were very comfortable and like something out of a movie.

Have you wondered what it would be like to stay in a real palace? Now is your chance. You should jump at it. This palace is centuries old so don’t expect a typical hotel experience. If you want a palatial room, massive charm, caring staff, a terrific breakfast and a perfect location this is your place.

Shared history and local knowledge including the opera that evening which was a beautiful evening. We loved it so much we stayed another night and cancelled other hotel despite no refund. Get the roof terrace room. The access to the hotel isn’t easily spotted and it’s not a road you can easily stop a car in. I recommend parking prior to going to hotel. The hotel is lovely,I had the roof terrace view of Arezzo which is amazing.

Lovely hotel beautifully furnished with friendly helpful staff. Great location our room had a balcony overlooking the beach. Good size rooms which were spotlessly clean with good quality bed linen and towels.

My husband and I like space and freedom so we opted for a flat rather than just a hotel room. The very polite and courteous G.M. Mr. Dario was very accommodating and provided us with a lovely well equipped sea view flat which we enjoyed for a whole week. Highly recommended, without hesitation.

I loved the apartment, and it's important to note that this is indeed an apartment, not a luxury hotel with room service. I point that out so that your expectations are accurate. The front desk is only open between certain hours and you get a legit set of keys that lock and unlock the main door and your apartment door. Our stay at the Palazzo Gamba Apartments al Duomo was absolutely fantastic. We stayed along with our two children (9 and 15 yrs old) and could not have asked for more. The location, directly opposite the Duomo, was perfect. The suite was clean, spacious, and beautiful. And the service was friendly and attentive. My girlfriend and I stayed here for three days in July. Excellent hospitality, all the staff are very kind. Clean room, comfortable bed, relatively large shower. We booked with smartbox, so we also included two dinners at the Le Cave restaurant. The noodles were exquisite and so was the encore of black pig. The location is good for seeing many things around there.

This hotel is almost like a museum. We choose this hotel due to its being on the center of attractions. Conveniently located, enough breakfast for the morning and run by beautiful people. There is also some apartments inside where people live and they are ‘privado’, so don’t enter by mistake like me.
