Apartments in Tuscany

We spend 1 week in an apartment and we really enjoyed the place. But to be frank, according to international standards, this place is more 2 stars than 3 or 4. Nevertheless it is realy a charming place, drowned in nature, with a spacious terrace with view on the sea, direct access to the beach.

Not the best place but for 1 or 2 nights it’s okay

If I could give 6 stars for service I would. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Restaurant / buffet is the best on the beach. Big pool. Kids clubs. The staff were so helpful and nice. They couldn't do enough for us. I've never had service like it.

The location of this was hotel beautiful, historical and so convenient. It was in the heart of everything, and walking distance to everything. The service was amazing and everyone was incredibly helpful. The building itself is so surreal. Definitely recommend!

This hotel has an excellent location in the center of town.

Located right in the heart of old town Florence just a few steps from all the shops restaurants and museums. Our stay at Donati was perfect. Our suite was beautiful large and very comfortable. The staff was excellent and very helpful with great recommendations - a big thank you to Leonardo and Phillipo at the front desk for their assistance.

Booked for three persons apartment. Room was very clean and fully equiped. Location needs about 15 mnts to train station, therefore not handy if you have big luggage

stayed for 3 nights! we loved florence and enjoyed our 20-30 min walk back to the hotel. it’s 10- 15 walk to the station. neighborhood is not too crowded which is nice. the room was also big with kitchen, living room and bedroom. recommended!

Wow, very impressed with this new property. Wonderful staff, incredible room with great amenities and spaciousness, and what a view - right across the street from the beach. This is the most 5 star, 4 start hotel I’ve ever been to. From the minute we walked in, until the minute we left, the staff was incredible and kind. The hotel room was immaculate. So clean. Smelled so good. The rooftop pool, bar, restaurant was so nice and fairly priced for such a nice hotel. The staff was always eager to ensure we were satisfied and happy. We had a lovely stay at Ponte Vecchio Hotel & Spa. Our suite was spacious and beautiful, and the location couldn’t be better ,just steps from the iconic bridge. Daily walks to the sights were an absolute pleasure. Continental breakfast was great too💗

The hotel has a lot of character.

We stayed in Room 10 on the first floor. Aside from the B&B's limited front desk hours, requiring you to check in online after hours, everything else was very convenient and satisfying. The location is incredibly convenient, with a breakfast shop across the street that opens early, making it easy to eat. Carrefour is also nearby, so you can grab some food and cook every night. I was enveloped in incredible hospitality and genuine care. The room was beautiful and incredibly spacious. It's just a 4-minute walk to Santa Maria del Fiore, passing through charming courtyards that offer breathtaking views. The Accademia Gallery is also conveniently close by. I highly recommend this cozy spot.

It is very close to the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore and the environment is comfortable beyond expectations. We stayed in winter, the room was very warm and quiet, the overall feeling was very good, it is worth recommending.

We had a very good stay, in very large rooms, clean and comfortable. Only few meters from the super-beach (although Bagno Stella was a little bit more to walk). Parking was perfect, surrounding area very nice. Very friendly staff, we haven't missed anything.

Hotel's location is ok. Almost 13 minutes walk ftom Santa Maria Novella train station . Entrance to the hotel looks pretty good. However, rooms are not that great. I have not found the rooms to be clean. In one corner of the room, the plaster on the wall had fallen off. No extra outlets available for charging phones and smart watches. The location is top! The hotel has a perfect location at the heart of Florence. It is just nearby the river. There is a common balcony at the second floor that you can watch the river. Very nice. I stayed in the junior suite, it had a large bed and also a smaller one good for a family with kid. The views were stunning, the jacuzzi tub was divine. 5 min walk to Ufizzi. Amazing breakfast. Pricey but worth it.

I was given a room in an Annex, buit this turned out to be an advantage, as the room was more or less a suite. Cleaning was excellent and the staff very welcomiung and friendly. The rooms were nice, bit on the smaller side but manageable. The staff at the reception was super friendly (not the breakfast staff though they were okay). The location is pretty good. The parking is really convenient and most of the guests were friendly too. Definitely satisfied with my experience. If you plan to go to the pool bring a swimming cap, because it's mandatory.

We have just returned from a 7 night stay at this family run hotel. Our room (109) on first floor overlooked the swimming pool/sea view. Nice clean spacious room with lovely balcony. Great staff, good size rooms. That a visit to the beach/a place to sit at the beach wasn’t included for the price we payed (3000 euro for less than 10 days) is absurd. The hotel is promoted as a beach hotel, but to visit the beach you have to pay 25-40 euros per day (the higher price is for if you want to be able to lock in your valuables). Fine holiday place. Nice green sorroundings with very prominent Tuscan 'macchia' plants. Unpleasant animation for childrend and unrequested shows may ruin the beauty of natural context. Informations needed to avoid surprises during the month of August.

Really nice area, nice and clean apartment, but there was no wlan in the apartment, also it feels like the hotel is saving money wherever it's possible. The problem kind of was, that there was nothing going on, even though there were possibilities to. (Went there Late July - Early August 2018)

We've been coming here for a few years now to spend our holidays with our dogs. We try to come twice a year. I guess that already tells you everything you need to know... This is one of those "home away from home" places. Very nice apartments, great location, (limited) private parking... but the real treat is the staff. Second to none!

It's very close to the train station, only a five-minute walk. The room has a courtyard and two security doors, so it's very safe. It's a bit old, and the hot water isn't very hot, but it's really good value for money. The staff weren't overly enthusiastic, but their attitude was generally friendly.

The Garden Hotel, with each room surrounding a courtyard garden, is spacious and two-story. The entrance is a charming alley-like passageway. This was the most satisfying hotel on our Italian trip. Even if breakfast wasn't included, it was still a delight to prepare some and enjoy it in the garden.

I chose a hotel close to the train station, in an alley, but it was safe and quiet, with a yard, a large room, and a duplex. Lovely placement, a bit uninterested service Hotel had wonderful rooms with balcony (superior dubbelroom) and sea view. Placement very good near seapromenade and shopping. Service at the hotell breakfast very unattended though,also reception felt a bit uninterested. This was our second time at this hotel and breakfast service as bad both times. We stayed for a week at the Golden Hotel and Apartments in a well equipped self catering apartment. Great place - spotlessly clean, excellent location and lovely pool area. We had 2 breakfasts and 2 evening meals and the food and service was excellent. Really helpful and friendly staff. Cecina is a great place - not over the top chic but great choice of restaurants and the local beach is good.

Resting a couple of days between the cityhoppings. The hotel is well maintained with a close proximity from the port of Cecina. Our room was spacious and included jacuzzi. The staff was helpful and friendly.

Good location, quiet and rather convenient - 20min walk (a rather bumpy one though because of the rich streets) or two bus stops from Santa Maria Novella (Florence train station), 15m from Santa Maria Duomo and Galleria Academia, and 10m from Uffizi. This certainly has the wow factor!! We stayed in the Donatello room and it was amazing! The views from the main bedroom looked over Duomo Square and is simply majestic. The whole of the apartment meant there was enough space for the family to relax and have their own space if needed. The staff were extremely helpful and made the stay a lovely one. I loved the apartment, and it's important to note that this is indeed an apartment, not a luxury hotel with room service. I point that out so that your expectations are accurate. The front desk is only open between certain hours and you get a legit set of keys that lock and unlock the main door and your apartment door. Our stay at the Palazzo Gamba Apartments al Duomo was absolutely fantastic. We stayed along with our two children (9 and 15 yrs old) and could not have asked for more. The location, directly opposite the Duomo, was perfect. The suite was clean, spacious, and beautiful. And the service was friendly and attentive. I would recommend the Palazzo Gamba to anyone visiting Florence.

We enjoyed our stay in Punta Ala , apartment was very nice , spotless clean, everything what we needed . Great location , close to the beach . We would only welcome changing of the towels during our stay . We understand cleaning is not included in the rate but still . Anyway overall we were very happy and will come back 😊

Very nice receptionist! Our scooter broke down from Florence and we got a cold water and could stay in the cooled reception, since we had 37*C outside and no shadow... Waiting is much better here, for the scooter rental to pick us up. Thanks a lot again for the help!
