Everything was great. It is a lovely country house with breathtaking views. The house was comfortable for 13 people (age from 5 to 53 including teenagers). The kitchen is very well equipped. We were able to eat inside and outside the house. The swimming pool is great. We had few technical issues (not the owner fault) and they were all dealt quickly and efficiently. Bruno was lovely and easygoing. He has excellent team which look after the house very well .
The price is very good for a country house .
They maybe few improvements which could be done , and yes , they are ants and other bugs (the house is in the middle of the field) , but we would love to come back there again. We had wonderful holidays. Thank you!

This review is not meant to be a criticism but only a piece of advice for the Host because our holiday was still wonderful being a group of people who adapt easily and do not get discouraged in the face of some simple difficulty. The Casale has a fantastic as well as strategic position to reach various destinations, there is no indication at least in the vicinity. The structure has great potential, but something needs to be revised. Being in the open countryside it is normal to find flies, mosquitoes and various small animals, therefore first of all mosquito nets, at least in the rooms (very clean and welcoming) to allow for air exchange.
The wooden flooring of the part in front of the common room is very dangerous and must be fixed as the very old, broken and unkept outdoor furniture must be changed.
It is true that many resources are needed to deal with these changes, but it is also true that considering the price paid, one expects to find a more refined environment.
The kitchen is also dated but with all the essentials for cooking. The presence of cats should be reported (we found 4) because someone could have some allergies.
That piano is really a pity, all the mechanical part needs to be restructured to be able to play it. Presence of bed linen and towels, WiFi throughout the hotel. External barbecue and oven.
Common room with fireplace and a nice table to accommodate more than 10 people.
Overall we had a great time and will be back to enjoy those views again and take a dip in the beautiful pool.

We are a group of 10 who rented the whole villa for a week.
In a nutshell: a lot of potential, little care and treatment from the bad host.
Specifically: the house has a beautiful view; it is well connected to places of interest; a living room with dining table and three sofas, TV and stereo (not working); swimming pool, outdoor tables and porch; barbecue (small); 5 private rooms, three of which with private bathroom and air conditioning and two without air conditioning and with shared bathroom (the only one on the ground floor).
The kitchen is dated and poorly equipped: old dishwasher, the stoves do not all work, there are no baskets (and the garbage must be disposed of by guests going to Marsiliana).
In the house enter many ants from the different cracks present.
There are no mosquito nets everywhere (therefore it is impossible to open the windows at night) and those present are in bad shape (eg kitchen).
The parquet flooring in the rooms is uneven.
There are cats and their bowls are in front of the porch but we had not been warned and having two allergy sufferers is problematic.
The furniture is dated and worn, especially the benches, tables and chairs outside.
The swimming pool was not clean upon arrival and the wooden flooring around it is damaged and therefore very dangerous. Two of the 4 umbrellas are broken on the ground.
The host's treatment was unpolite and disrespectful; specifically a few days before arrival he moved us to check in several times and the day before departure to return home, despite the agreements made were to leave the house at 16 he advised us to leave it at 10. At the request of explanations the owner said he did not want to talk to a woman but he explicitly asked to talk to a man because, according to him, he is not happy with women and it is difficult to talk. He told us to leave the house early because the new guests would arrive on the day we had to leave the house explaining that due to Covid, cleaning is necessary, such as changing the bedspreads, which before the pandemic there was no need to do (?? !? !!).
We were therefore forced to leave the house before the agreed time, upsetting our plans and being told "what changes for you to leave first?".

I often stay at the B & B #montecristo country house, as soon as I can escape the frenzy of Milan, to find calm, balance and relaxation. Elegantly furnished Tuscan farmhouse, surrounded by the nature of the Maremma countryside but at the same time 15 minutes from the Silver Coast, Ansedonia, Feniglia, Giannella, Talamone, Capalbio, Orbetello, Saturnia. Comfort in each elegantly furnished room with private bathroom, free wifi, heating in winter and air conditioning in summer, and ceiling fans, TV, private patio, ample free parking. Hearty Italian breakfast: coffee, hot milk, cold milk, fruit juices, yoghurt, homemade cake every day, Tuscan bread, muffins, jams, honey, served in the ground floor lounge. Beautiful outdoor swimming pool made available free of charge without paying a supplement. Very clean and fragrant bed linen and towels. In the room 1 bottle of mineral water and herbal teas are free. Owner Bruno very kind and always available to provide you with suggestions on places to visit. Excellent value for money!

Very peaceful place.
A very nice looking typical Tuscan villa, too bad the wood around the house is not too well cared for.
We are in the middle of the countryside with animals and lots of greenery, a cute garden, lemon plants fertilize.
Lots of flowers that I love especially roses.
Friendly, friendly and easygoing owner. The lady always available.
Nice pool, it's a pity we couldn't take advantage of the cloudy and sometimes rainy weather.
Nice room. Bathroom ok. Too bad that when I opened the bathroom window I found dead mosquitoes, not pleasant. Towels clean but not dried well as it felt like a typical stinker.
Now breakfast I imagined something special: like some cold cuts like some fresh or homemade tart or bought at the bakery or even a good local oil since the area allows it. Instead, unfortunately, a classic Italian breakfast with sandwich bread and packaged jam. A little disappointing.
Damn ... it's not an accusation but I would have preferred a healthier breakfast.
Then the rest of the drinks were good.
Also provided is the herbal tea for the evening that I tasted
