Piccolo Hotel in Malcesine

We stayed 6 nights there and really enjoyed our vacation. The staff is very friendly.
The superior room 3rd floor with a lake view was more than beautiful and worth it. Breakfast was very good and lots of different choices. The only disadvantage was the very cold breakfast room (it felt less than 20 degrees) for all days except the last one finally. ☺️therefore just 4 stars.
For me as a watersports enthusiast I enjoyed being close to the kiteclub and Torbole. ☺️🤙🏼

After having stayed here for the second time (regular rooms with and without balcony) we really enjoyed the location of the hotel as it is located outside of Malcesine, away from the overcrowded City-Center.

The pool, as well as the access to the lake are very calm and a big reason as to why we decided to come here again.

Having breakfast on the balcony is really relaxing as you get an amazing view over the lake.

If you have a room with the balcony on the lowest floor, people can walk by right outside towards the terrace and pool.
Our room without a balcony just had a window with a view onto a wall.

This time we had a room next to the stairs which was pretty loud. The people upstairs and next door could also be heard very easily, even when they were just talking.

There are two different parking locations which guarantees you a parking spot close to the hotel.

Fab views

Great location just north of Malcesine with beautiful rooms and magnificent views of the lake. There is a top class restaurant serving limited dish menus which are top notch and very reasonably priced although there is enough served to easily feed two people from one order. There is also a well-stocked bar. The hotel has bicycles to lend to guests which help work off those excess dinner calories in a trip to and from Malcesine along the lakeside path. The family who own and operate the hotel were most courteous, kind and helpful. I would come here again if the opportunity presents.
There is off-street parking and wireless internet in the reception and restaurant/bar area. Breakfast is buffet-style with an extensive selection of exquisite pastries and cakes in case you skipped the dinner course the previous night.
