We arrived at the Alpi Hotel on our way from Liguria, where we had a disastrous accommodation and food experience at a hotel in Noli.
The next arrival at the Alpi Hotel was enchanting for us and at the same time put us back in a positive holiday mood :-)
- welcome at the reception
- as we mentioned the lactose-free diet for the children, they immediately suggested alternative food and options
- we had a new panorama room (the most beautiful view from the bed I have ever experienced)
- a beautiful red festive table setting was prepared for Sunday dinner
This hotel really brought back the charm of Italy and Italian cuisine after a very bad experience in Noli. We even received a small gift on the way home :-)

This was our first time in Malcesine and at the Hotel Alpi, on the recommendation of my in-laws. The location is very central; you can walk everywhere. Parking is available in the olive grove, although limited. The breakfast buffet was adequate and typical for a 3-star hotel. The rooms could use some updating, but we had excellent air conditioning, which made the 30°C heat bearable at night. The staff is incredibly friendly, and most importantly: there's a pool! You don't have to go down to the water if you don't like the pebbly beaches. Highly recommended!

Unfortunately, I have to give Hotel Alpi, where I stayed for three nights last week, one star and a negative review. The only positives are the kindness and helpfulness of the receptionist, some of the wait staff, and the proximity to the main attractions.
Negatives: the run-down and partially flooded basement used for guest storage, the lack of adequate parking for the number of rooms, the elderly owner who is inattentive and interferes with the management, and, above all, the inflated bill. My fault was not realizing when I paid that I had been charged €20 per day for half board plus drinks instead of €14 as I was informed upon arrival.
Despite my subsequent complaint, no one has heard from me since. Furthermore, checking their website shows that the prices (seasonal permitting) are even lower!
This unfairness undoubtedly cost them a negative review and the loss of a customer.

Nestled amidst olive trees, very centrally located yet away from traffic. Ample parking for cars and motorcycles. A wonderful atmosphere, attentive, friendly, and welcoming staff. The breakfast buffet and the evening salad bar leave nothing to be desired. The food is exceptionally delicious. With a choice of three appetizers, main courses, and desserts in the evening, there's always something for everyone, and the selection is varied. The sunbathing lawn, swimming pool, large terrace, and great bar allow you to enjoy days and evenings in complete peace and quiet.
This hotel is the perfect place for an unforgettable vacation. We would love to come back.

Its a super calm place to rest. The Hotel has an outside jacuzzi as well with heated water, so if the weather is not OK for swimming, you can rest there. Cozy rooms, and restaurant also. I recommend.

Just a good 3 star hotel Italian style. Many regular guests, good down-to-earth German/Italian food. Service and room staff very friendly and always on point. Service at the bar is awesome. top, top!!! Rooms very good depending on the status of the renovation. Our room was spacious and very good. Top mattresses. We had our own pillows with us. We are not considering whether we will come back, but when. The location of the house is also great. On one side quiet, on the other side only max. 5 minutes to Malcesine old town. We'll be back.

The location is beautiful with a fantastic view of the castle even though the hotel is in the city it is really quiet and not far from the port, the bus station or the lake. The rooms are also beautifully decorated. The waitresses are all very polite and grateful. Cleaning lady is also a super nice lady. Drinks prices are a bit high but it's worth the price.

I've been here 3 times so far and I'm very satisfied. Very nice service (I got my food delivered to my seat at breakfast last year after it was empty on the buffet and without being asked). The rooms also look quite nice (I've only had panorama rooms so far). The hotel itself is very quiet here, it's not on the road so no noise from cars, the pool is clean and the heated pool is also quite nice if you're there when it's not too hot. Very nice hotel, I will definitely come back again.

The hotel is centrally located and yet quiet. The typical Italian breakfast can be taken on the terrace next to the pool. Coffee was very good. There are enough loungers at the large pool. From our room we had a great view of the castle and the lake. Parking is also not a problem, the car is right next to the hotel under old olive trees. We would choose the hotel again.
