Views stunning but that's about it. The owner/boss very rude, unhelpful, not listening and extremly unwelcoming to guests. Abrupt and needs her staff to translate. They tried their best to be keep the peace between guests and owner. Lights were turned off at 11 pm so no Bar Service. Overall the owner has spoiled a holiday/wedding that was not cheap. She has no idea of hosting guests. I feel sorry for the staff that work there.

This is the worst experience in helpful owner. She was rude, unhelpful, short tempered and not listening to the querries and guests wishes. Did not speak English and staff translated the best they could and tried hard to keep the peace. Rude woman does not deserve to have guests. Rooms downstairs were spacious but no plugs or wardrobes in the room and definitely not soundproof as stated on the website. No air-conditioning. Rooms upstairs old deco and fans woke up child everytime somebody used the bathroom. AVOID THIS HOTEL

If you are English speaking, this hotel will not want to serve you. After having an awful night with no aircon, we tried to speak to the reception staff but was faced with nothing but a hostile and rude woman. Worst experience I have had in Italy. Would not recommend.

3 weeks in Italy and this is the only bad place I stayed.

Shouldn't be advertised as having air con, and then not providing it at night. It's actually idiotic to turn it off during the one time of a day you spend in your room.

The younger lady that greeted us was nice and accommodating. The women that we dealt with the next morning showed no sympathy or care, and when I'm explaining the situation looked at me and asked if I spoke german, shrugged and ignored me from then on when I said I didn't.

Mention that you don't want English speaking people on your site if that's how you run a business.

Have a window or fan as a minnimum if your turning the hotel aircon off in the middle of summer.

The only option was to have the door opened, which then lets the lights in which keep you awake and don't turn off untill 2am.

Dinner was fine, though the house wine was bad. Skipped breakfast as I wanted to just leave. But it didn't look impressive by any

FALSE ADVERTISEMENTS - NO AIRCON. The rooms are advertised as having air-conditioning, but all units turn off at 10pm even during summer. It was 35 degrees during my stay and no staff member would assist me in turning the aircon back on.

Despite trying to speak to staff at 10.30, and again at 1am. No help was found.

Extremely uncomfortable.

The next day the staff were extremely rude and demanded I pay and leave.

Avoid at all costs.

Website is misleading (on the 3rd party website), It says hotel has air conditioning in the general description, but apparently, it’s only in selected rooms. Would definitively not recommend for this false advertisement reason.

Update: I posted this initial review above upon check in. I’m supposed to stay 3 night, but on the second day, hotel manager called me out and questioned about my google review, in quite threatening manner. Had they discussed nicely, I would have modified the review, however, I received threaten. The manager said, two words!!Explain to me the problem!! When I tried to explain, he keeps interjecting and does not give me an opportunity to complete. They then took my room key, while I STILL have my luggage in the room, because my checkout is next day.

Another hotel manager called my travel agency and after the clarification, they finally released the key to me, so I can pack my stuff and check out.

I’m from the US so I think google review offers a platform for customers to share our perception against these experiences. I guess from hotel’s perspective, they reserve the right to ban customers for any reason they want, however, taking the room key without allowing the customers to pack and check out is scary.

Anyway, lake Garda is beautiful but this experience pretty much ruined my vacation.

This is a lovely hotel at an amazing viewpoint over the Garda lake. The room was relatively small but offered exit to a big terrace overlooking the lake and the surrounding mountains. Breat-taking. It was clean and comfortable, we didn't miss anything. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful! Breakfast is delicious and offers a variety of choices. A lovely choice for when you visit the Garda Lake.

Hotel Laguna is placed hight over Lake Garda, with a fantastic wiev over Lake Garda. The hotel is very Nice build and very clean. The room is a good size with bathroom with shower and great beds. The hotel serve a outstanding 3 course dinner. The staff are very kind and give top service.
