Pensione Wildner in Venice

Our final stay in Venice! Good concierge, really friendly. Location wise also very good and central. Just light walking distance to the basilica and you can see dorsoduro side from here. Room was quite small but ok for a one night stay. Breakfast was quite limited but sufficient and since there was nobody it was only us in the cafe. Good shower. The only downside I can think of is there is no lift/no elevator. So if you have big luggages, be prepared to do some weight lifting even more so if you’re on the higher floors because the stairway is narrow and have many turns. Lucky for me I have my partner.

This was a last minute booking for a spur of the moment trip to Venice from Piran. The location couldnt be more perfect as it was just 5 minutes from Doge Palace. The furnishings was a little outdated but it was completely fine for a 1 night stay.

The location was perfect, cleanliness was top, breakfast was plentiful, hotel in general was showing its age, service at breakfast was very unfriendly.

The hotel left only warm memories! I will definitely recommend it and will use it again myself if the opportunity arises! A very warm, family atmosphere. You feel like you have come to visit distant relatives whom you have not seen since childhood. The room is stylized as antique, but there is no sticky dirt, typical of some old hotels. The bed linen is a delight! Very thick, not at all budget! Everything is perfectly clean! A wonderful view from the room window of the roofs of Venice and partially the dome of San Marco. A cozy Christmas tree on the first floor to maintain the Christmas mood. Polite friendly staff! The restaurant is a special love! Unfortunately, my daughter did not want to have dinner, and I did not appreciate the evening dishes, but the smells from the kitchen were crazy! The kitchen was in full swing, the waiters were running and serving, as happens only in places with high demand! The breakfast was amazing! No buffet. A nice woman thoughtfully laid a cozy table for us overlooking the Grand Canal. An amazing experience! My thanks to the hotel owner and caring staff!

The place is ideal for arriving in Italy and leaving for the airport, the bus stop is opposite.

Everything creaked a little, and you could hear your neighbors - but for such a price-quality ratio (compared to the prices of neighboring hotels on the left and right), - I think everything was great ❤️

I would definitely come back more than once❤️

The old man is very nice. The hotel is relatively old. First-class location, breakfast is better than expected

The location of the hotel is very good, and it is very cost-effective compared to hotels in the same location. The Grand Canal is visible from the window, and it is only a 5-minute walk to Piazza San Marco. I am very satisfied with it.

It's OK, an old-style house with quite a few characteristics. The bathroom is good. There is no elevator, so it's a bit troublesome to go upstairs. It's hard to carry a lot of luggage. Breakfast is delivered one by one, not a buffet. The basic variety is OK.

Located conveniently at a water ferry stop so you don’t have to haul your luggage too far. No stairs in the hotel so that’s a bit of a struggle. Our room over looked the water which was very pretty. Breakfast was pretty good. You don’t get a choice they just bring you what they offer. Hotel and room are dated but I think that just gave it some character
