A truly Venetian experience in every way, made exemplary by the reception team, headed by the most helpful lady ever. We wanted to visit Murano and Burano but Venice transport was on strike the day we wanted to visit! She carefully plotted a route for us and throughout our stay was a constant source of information.
Breakfast was a delightful experience, again the staff were conscientious and obliging, boiling the perfect boiled egg for our companion.
The hotel is grandiose but inviting. We will definitely return next October 🌠

Loved the staff and location, but they have a rule that you can't bring food into your room. I understand why and that being an old hotel with a lot of guests it makes a burden on the staff, but when we caught something flying there and traded off days being sick, I really hated that we had to go out for food, not only because we were sick, but as a public health professional, I knew we were just spreading the sickness around. Once again, the staff were amazing. The hotel was a good value, and has a true Venetian feel!

Overwhelmed by the amount of choice of hotels and apartments in Venice, I procrastinated and left it super late to book our accommodation. I kept looking at this hotel but wasn’t sure about the location. It turned out to be the perfect location, quiet enough to not disturb sleep but central enough to get everywhere within easy walking distance, and only 6min walk to the ferry service to and from airport & Valporetta boat to Murano/Burano. We stayed in one of their apartments which are separate from the hotel, a minute walk around the back of the hotel. We preferred the space and layout of the apartment to the rooms on offer in the hotel for a similar price. This meant that we didn’t have breakfast included, but we paid for it on one occasion. Didn’t get round to using the swimming pool but it looked lovely. The staff could not have done more for us and were super helpful. Obviously, there’s no canal view but honestly, it didn’t bother me in the end. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

An excellent little hotel on a quiet street in a great location.

5 minute walk to the Fondamente Nuove stop for the water taxi or the airport ferry
15 minute walk to Piazza San Marco
10 minute walk to vaporetto
10-15 minute walk to the lovely wine bars of Cannaregio

Staff is wonderful. Room had A/C, which was key, but could use a bit of an update. Perhaps to be expected for a historic building.

All in all, a great spot for a Venice visit.

Great little gem in super convenient location. Super friendly staff, nice little bonus with pool (or over size jacuzzi) for a short break. Decent breakfast. Really recommend.

My cash were missing from this hotel while we were touring Venice. When I contacted front desk, they keep denying anyone went into the room. It is very obvious their staff conducted this ugly crime. Be aware with this hotel and DO NOT let this hotel ruin your Venice vacation! Ugly!

This place was beautiful and it was in a great and quiet location!! We didn't end up using the whirlpool. You do need to sign a rule agreement if you think you are going to use it. We were told upon check in to not bring food or drinks into the room and also to return the room key when leaving the hotel (if all guests are exiting the room). Our room was neat, in my opinion. When you get the room key, you need to keep it plugged into the wall for the power in the room to work. The outdoor area where the whirlpool is located is quite serene. I stayed out for quite a bit to read and chat on my phone. It was peaceful! The breakfast was good, in my opinion, too! The staff were so friendly and the breakfast staff were fun to talk with! I thought there was quite a selection of breakfast items to choose from. There is a machine that presses fresh oranges for orange juice that is pay only, so be mindful of the sign.

We are pleasantly surprised by this hotel, very well located in the liveliest street in Venice. And on the way back, we understood that there are public boats from the airport to Venice whose station is 10 minutes walk from the hotel.. price 15€ per person. While to come, we took a taxi that stops us at the place of Rome + 30 minutes of walking + crossing.

However, the hotel does not provide a bottle of water, you have to go and fill your empty bottle near the pool in the bottle..

Hotel Giorgione: A Venetian Gem

Who would have thought that a flooded Airbnb could lead to the most incredible hotel experience? After a soggy start to our Venice adventure, we stumbled upon Hotel Giorgione and let me tell you, it was a stroke of luck!

This boutique hotel is pure magic. From the moment we walked in, we were transported to a world of Venetian elegance. The staff was incredibly helpful, always going the extra mile. They even arranged a private water taxi tour to Murano, where we witnessed the mesmerizing art of glassblowing.

Our room was a dream, with its charming key lock and picturesque views. The hotel's attention to detail is impeccable, and the atmosphere is simply divine.

If you're planning a trip to Venice, do yourself a favor and book a stay at Hotel Giorgione. It's a hidden gem that will make your trip truly unforgettable.

Great location, nice rooms, friendly and helpful staff.
Buffet breakfast is very good and having a bar and a pool table is nice for an end of the day relaxation.
A surprisingly large hotel, slightly old fashioned, but it suited us.
A very handy location for sightseeing.
