Completely renovated, the hotel Lux is located very close to St. Mark. It offers elegant, comfortable rooms with modern facilities and furniture of the 18th century in Venetian style. In the hotels 17 rooms on three floors. The hotel organises excursions to the island of Murano, famous factories for the manufacture of glass. The hotel bar is open around the clock.

Fantastic location, very clean room, people are very friendly and smiley. Everything is easily reachable by walking such as Restaurants, branded shop’s, every single house is different and full of history. Gondola ride is in just 50 meter from Hotel and San Marco square is in 100 mtr.
Breakfast is not so worthy.
I would love to come again in this place.

The mattress was in poor condition; you could feel the springs and it was very hard. The sheets were also very old and dirty.

Old-fashioned hotel, spacious room, antique furnishings. Steep stairs, but overall, considering the location and price, it seems like a great compromise.

The hotel was nice and clean; in the room, there was a mini fridge and an AC, which was handy. The bathroom was spacious and there was toiletries. The only negative thing about the room was the bed; the mattres was too flat and the bed base made a lot of noise every time you turned around/lay on the bed.
Breakfast is served at the hotel; it's simple but abundant. The hotel clerks were always super polite and helpful.
The hotel is located near Marco Polo Sq and you can walk to most places. Super recommended.

The hotel has a great location, just a two-minute walk from the water bus stop. The room is a decent size, but it's older and more run-down than it appears in the photos. There's only a thin sheet on the bed; if you feel cold, you can take a blanket (a bit dirty) from the closet and put it on top of the sheet. Breakfast includes bread, yogurt, croissants, juice, and coffee. The staff are friendly. Considering the price and location, it's very good value for money.

Do not be fooled by pictures. The room we had was outdated to put it very mildly.
Soundproofing was zero. It felt like someone was peeing right on your forehead...

Do NOT book unless you are planning to get drunk beyond ALL your senses.

The location was great for our 3 night stay. Staff is abrupt and rude. The room smelled of mold. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. To to it off. They ran out of toilet paper. Glad they had the bidet.

If I could give it 0 I would. This is my worse experience in my 10 years of traveling. After we arrived, the guy at the reception asked we pay before seeing the room, which after took as to another building where our room was located. Once we stepped in, we could smell and see the mold and I started to cough and have an allergic attack. After no more than 30 minutes we came back to the reception asking for our money back or change of room - he did not agree, even after speaking with the manager on the phone. Then he suggested to go to again, another building (the 3rd one at this point), which was luxurious and new (like the ones here in Google maps), where we spoke with the manager and explained the situation and the fact I am having an allergic attack which can be life threatening. He yelled at us, made silly faces at us and insulted us personally, mentioning our nationalities. We were humiliated in the entrance of the hotel before all other guests and decided we are going to sleep outside, waiting for our boat next morning. The pictures speak for themselves.

Avoid - BED BUGS!!! 🐛
Only location is good.
Avoid all cost.
Firstly we were waiting at reception desk to check in for a long time as no-one was there.
Reception area look nice , but after check in you are being sent to different , very old smelly building.
You need to pay city tax straight away and if you do nit have cash at the moment you need to look for ATM, there is no option of paying next day
The room is very dark, not clean.
Beds and pillows are extremely uncomfortable.
Breakfast is served for 2h but you need to tell exactly what time you going to cone, we claimed to be there at 9, but needed to wait 30min as ben told we have booked for 9:30..
Breakfast is VEry basic, few croissants and jams. No savoury options.
But the WORST of all is that we woke there being extremely bitten by BEd bugs!
