We had the green and white pinstripe room. It was so nice! The service is amazing! We had breakfast in bed. You can check the preferable hour and the ingredients to be served next morning and hang it outside your door. We had a totally Venetian view from our windows. It was lovely! When we visit Venice again, that’s the place we will choose to stay once again! Not to forget about the great location, near the transportation and walking distance from everything we wanted to see (I mean where we could go without a boat)!

I noticed the negative reviews for the reception, but we had no problem with that. The woman at the reception was very kind, we had lost our flight and arrived late. We had called her and she gave us the exact directions and codes to get into the property and eventually in our room and we did that with no problem at all. We just checked in the next morning.

DO NOT STAY HERE
Very disappointing. No one there when we arrived so no keys to be had for ages. No one answers the phone. The staff are rude and unhelpful. No hot water for first 4 days despite our complaints. The breakfast was awful, cold toast, cold coffee and no question of any eggs , ham or cheese. After 4 nights they moved us to another room as they said they had overbooked our room? The second room was awful. We had to use the torch on our phone to use the stairs at night, no light switch for part of it and it was pitch black. Worse place I ever stayed in.

Terrible stay. On the second night, we came to the room and discovered that the water was icy cold. It was February, 3 degrees during the night and we were after a whole day of walking. We called the emergency Line (the reception closes at 2pm) and they say they will call is back and maybe send somebody. They didn't. The radiators didn't work either so needless to say one of us ended up with a cold. The next morning the flat was freezing and the water was still cold. That's not the only thing that went wrong however. On the day of our arrival the lady handed us the card with breakfast options with already crossed out eggs, ham and cheese leaving us with a coffee to choose and Muesli or croissant. Normally this breakfast would cost 10 euros. Ridiculous, especially that the breakfast is served only from 9 to 10. The staff was rude. Also, on our arrival we learnt that because of the short working hours of the reception we won't be able to leave our luggage there. The lady in the reception said there is a storage that we can use somewhere but didn't know where. We called and messaged the property but they didn't get back to us. Do not recommend that property at all.

Location if fantastic, close to everything. Rooms wonderful, spacious, and they really add to that Venice experience. Breakfast great, unlike some other places where you only get a small bagle and coffee.
If you have trouble finding it, download offline google maps, and if you really have trouble with 20 step stairs, build some muscle.

Great place to stay about a 5 minute walk from the Rialto bridge and a 15 minute walk from St Mark's Square in the heart of Venice. The accommodation is situated on the first floor in an historical building overlooking a canal. Our ceiling sported a traditional style ceiling painting. A simple Italian breakfast was included and delivered to the room door.
Our room was large and clean, the bed comfortable with fresh smelling sheets. We had a table, chairs and a fridge. The bathroom was clean, the shower produced plenty of hot water and there was a radiator to dry your wet towel.
The hosts were really friendly and made us feel very welcome. I can honestly recommend this place and would happily return here for our next stay in the beautiful city of Venice.
