One of the most memorable stays in all of Europe and that says a lot since we actively seek out locations with Michelin Keys. Relais Colle San Pietro is worthy of such recognition. We stayed 3 nights, and I yearned for at least one more. Wonderful gracious hosts, attentive and kind. Breakfast was served in our room ,very generous portions and great selection. Beautifully furnished with antiques, with several modern touches for comfort. Not even the smallest luxury was overlooked, from towel warmer, to sauna and steam shower, blackout drapes and sheer curtains that automatically open. Two fully stocked mini fridges with a great selection. But the view from the King size bed with luxurious bedding was the ultimate luxury. We found ourselves lounging around in bliss just enjoying a cup of coffee from the balcony. The huge bathtub was spectacular as well ! Excellent location, parking available also. I cannot imagine staying anywhere else when we return.

Arrived after travelling by train from Florence. Sandro was there to greet us check in seamless we went on the balcony prior to being shown to our room what struck me was the amazing view. Shown to our room it was absolutely beautiful Clearly a lot work had gone into the design. The whole relais was well thought out the location was absolutely superb the funicular was right next to the hotel. Breakfast was just right attended by the lovely Alejandro apologies if not spelled correctly . We were very sad to leave we really enjoyed our stay and thank you Sandro for helping us enjoy our stay in such a wonderful relais and location we would love to come back.

Location: Excellent. Not right in the centre of old town so less noise. Views over the river. Atmosphere. It is on the top floor of a building with only 5 rooms, so the atmosphere is intimate and friendly. Rooms. Spacious - has king bed, coffee maker and sophisticated shower (many outlets) Value: Extremely good. breakfast is included and the staff do everything to make it enjoyable. Cleanliness. Whilst the building is very old (13th century), the initial response is 'what have I booked', however both of us are very glad that we did book this hotel, both for its, staff, cleanliness and location - a rare find Noise level: low, not in noisy part of town, however very close to funicular and castle Service: Excellent. Sandro and his team make the stay pleasant. He even gave us one of his parking stickers to use local parking. Amenities. Few, however does provide aesthetic services. Hair salon close by.

Verona is a beautiful and interesting old city but was made especially affective by staying here. Located overlooking the river and bridge into the old city it’s a great location. Staff are a delight too and could not have done more to make our stay enjoyable. Our room was sizeable and well decorated with modern facilities. Definitely recommend to all visiting Verona

Having a lovely large room was great for our weeks stay. Like the location and breakfast (so much choice, we had something different every day!) the team were amazing. While it's just across the pontefract pietra bridge, it's only a few minutes stroll into town or the arena de verona if you are going to the opera, which we did. There are plenty of restraunts nearby a few of which we tried. You can walk to the bus / train station if you are venturing out of verona or travelling, but if you have luggage, you may want to take a cab or bus. All in a great place to stay.

Fantastic location just outside the old town and by the river. Parking available. Room was beautifully renovated and decorated. Breakfast area is charming - with a small balcony overlooking the city and river. Sandro was a magnificent host and the team friendly and attentive. Highly recommended as a boutique experience!

Off the charts service. Small, 6-room property. Modern, clean finishes. Super close to Verona centro. TRAVEL TIP: maps takes you to the castle at the top of the mountain. You want to be next to the base of the funicular. I would set maps to Q.B. Gelato here (Via Santo Stefano 9/10
