This was an amazing hotel! Escalus Luxury Suites in Verona, Italy was a wonderful place to stay. It could use a little TLC when it comes to some of the furniture and fixtures, but the location is unbeatable. You are truly in the heart of Verona.
The staff was absolutely outstanding. They were friendly, caring, and helpful with everything. Breakfast was served directly to our room, and it was delicious, warm, and fresh.
I also have to mention how kind the staff was when I had recently sprained my ankle and was in a lot of pain. They offered ice, ice packs, and even encouraged me to visit the hospital if needed. That level of care really stood out.
Overall, this is a great place to stay in Verona. The train station is only about a 20-minute walk away, and it’s actually a beautiful walk. Also, make sure to visit Lake Garda while you’re there!

We had an excellent stay at Escalus Luxury Suites. The suite was spacious, beautifully designed, and had all the amenities we needed for a very comfortable visit. The location is perfect, right in the middle of everything, making it very easy to explore the city.
A special thank you to the receptionist, who was absolutely wonderful. When she heard we were on our honeymoon, she kindly added complimentary breakfast, which was such a thoughtful and generous gesture.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable, central, and memorable stay.

Great location and staff were nice. I don't personally like to be shown around a hotel room but that's preference. Breakfast room service was a nice novelty as they seem to not have space for a breakfast area. However the breakfast was limited, and charged for extras, which is a bit stingy considering the price that can be charged for this hotel. The bread was quite stale, and the juice wasn't great quality. Seems like a poor management choice rather than the staff themselves. There's also construction next door so don't expect a quiet lie in.

The hotel is right by the arena and piazza Bra which is a great location.
It has only 10 suites and the team is very friendly and helpful with advice and recommendations. They treat guests like family and with only 10 suites, service is very personal.
The rooms are well stocked and equipped and since they do not have a dining room, breakfast of your choice (including eggs and bacon if desired) is served to the suite.
One side of tge hotel faces a main shopping street so we found it best to be on a high floor (3rd or 4th) to be away from street noises.

Great location for walking around the city.
A lovely welcome and great explanation of things on arrival. The rooms are spacious and comfortable.
Breakfast served in the room from a selection made the afternoon/evening before. Arrived on time both days and was delicious and plentiful!
My one improvement would be the mattress which was a little springy and noisy!

We booked a family room, which was not in the hotel building. We had to check in and then walk about 6 minutes to another building. This family room was on the 2nd floor of another building, 7 or 8 minutes away from the Colosseum, which was convenient for watching opera.

The room is large. It is a local apartment. You can experience local life. It is suitable for many people. The convenience may not be as good as the hotel.
