Bugs bugs bugs- not for the faint of heart
The most disgusting, bug infested, dirty, run down “hotel” I’ve ever experienced. Every species of bugs you can think of almost. If you don’t like bugs, don’t come here. If you do like bugs, come here. I will dispute this, it was a nightmare from hell. I would not wish my worst enemy to come here. Bugs everywhere, wifi hardly works. Not close to the town, bad location. No taxis available either. Host is condescending and acts like bugs are acceptable.

Our room was large and clean, but very worn and spartanly furnished. We had a great terrace. The furniture, however, consisted of Ikea folding chairs and a tiny parasol.
You have to make up the beds yourself upon arrival.
If you can overlook the above points, this is a simple accommodation, ideally located by the lake.
The garden was pretty and the pool area well-maintained. There were far from enough loungers by the pool, especially during peak times.
The ladies at the reception were very nice and fond of children.

We stayed one night to explore Lake Garda. The woman was unfriendly and the room wasn't very nice. The beds weren't made, and there were no toiletries like soap or anything similar. For almost €200 a night, you'd expect that! When we asked why nothing had been done, the only response was that it couldn't be included at that price. The built-in hairdryer was broken, and the dishwasher didn't work either. We didn't see why we should buy dish soap for just one night. Luckily, there was a parking space available, and we didn't have to walk 100 meters to the next one. All in all, NOT recommended, especially since the stairs to the first floor are very narrow and inaccessible for people with mobility issues!

Showing so little appreciation to the guest is something that counts. It wasn't even vacuumed yet.

Can only advise everyone against the accommodation!

Basically, solid, not particularly good, not particularly bad hotel.
Unfortunately, here comes the "but", we deliberately chose accommodation with air conditioning (phobia of mosquitoes). We arrive, the air conditioning is not working.
The friendly receptionist tried to switch it on for us, but unfortunately it didn't work. We then got the boss on the phone and explained that this was not acceptable for us (after all, it was widely advertised), "allegedly" the air conditioners were not allowed to be turned on, only from June 15th, only from 27 degrees (it was 35° in the The shade). In fact, there is a new law in Italy that air conditioners can only be set to 27°, hotel owners seem to be using this as an opportunity to save energy and not deliver promised services. The whole thing culminated in the hotel owner yelling at me on the phone because of my "brazen" request and threatening to call the police. Anyone who has no claim to customer service or fulfillment of contracts is in good hands here, but only conditionally recommended for vacation.
Also not recommended for small children, the pool is not chlorinated and a fellow traveler took an ear infection with her...
All in all, only recommended for people who want to be yelled at by Italians on vacation...

We were staying last year and let's just say we had a great time.
Even if the cleaning was not the best.
This year we went back thinking they had improved but instead got worse.
The air conditioning did not work well at all, in the bedroom the air was 23 degrees (from penguins) and in the living room 28/30 degrees (from the oven).
Raised floor and without any precautions. We had to request rugs so the kids couldn't cut their feet. And even this after 3 hours that we had arrived they brought us the carpets ...
The handle of the water tap for taking a shower couldn't stay open, so you had to waste time getting it stuck.
Cleaning was painful. We didn't even have a broom to clean ..
The swimming pool and the visit are the only thing that was nice. Although the pool area was full of mosquitoes.
Let's say we will never return ...
