We had high expectations from Il Vicolo Aparthotel based on the reviews we had read online, but the they were exceeded significantly when we arrived at the location. Not only is the accommodation placed in a quiet yet lively part of the city, with easy access to stores, restaurants, the old city center and bus stops taking you straight to the Central Station, the apartment itself was tastefully decorated...

Excellent Mathia was an exceptional host. The apartment was beautifully furnished, immaculately clean, and very comfortable. He went out of his way to ensure our short stay was perfect, providing excellent local recommendations, answering all questions promptly, and making check-in effortless. We only wish we booked here for our entire trip. A true 5-star experience.

The perfect place. Highly recommended A beautiful stylish, well furnished apartment in a wonderful modern conversion of a medieval building in a quiet neighbourhood but literally 5 minutes stroll from the city centre. The host Mathia couldn’t be more helpful, on hand to meet you and available if you need him, his recommendations for restaurants and hidden places to see were on the mark.

Our stay was perfect. The apartment itself was absolutely spotless, the facilities were ideal, beds comfy, incredibly safe locks on all the doors, gorgeous and well equipped kitchen and bathrooms, huge rooms. Safe area, we felt no concerns walking home late at night as two women. The location is ideal for any sort of trip, a short walk to the centre and the arena, loads of brilliant bars and restaurants...

This is a beautiful, spotlessly clean, well equipped property, with beautiful high quality decor in central areas, and super easy, digital and secure lock system for front door and apartment door. Do note, check in should be 2-7pm, which is marked clearly on the property information, but Expedia’s system does not account for this if giving you late flight options in the package, so you need to check...

It was a wonderful experience. Very positive and fun. She talked about the wines and where they came from and how they were made. Answered all of our questions which were many. The wines all tasted great. Six different tastings. Really enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone coming to Verona that has a couple of hours that want to relax and enjoy themselves.

Beautiful rooms and design. Unique features in some room (a piano in one of our room). Just be aware that the glass enclosed shower (partially frosted) is in the sleeping area if you are sharing room. Small elevator allow moving luggage with ease. Secured Parking inside courtyard within the building was a real bonus. Room enough for our rental Audi Q5 but may be not a full size SUV. Reception staff...

Felt like home, everything was in the apartment – salt, sugar, coffee. But it was pretty old and is the best option when you have a car and a pet.

Great experience. My boyfriend and I had a great time, great location, has free parking, staff always available, when they are not available it is all automated, they sent us the codes to enter. I stayed with my family in this property for 4 nights. Excellent location (2 urban bus lines for the station pass a few meters from the residence). The staff are welcoming and helpful. The structure is clean and tidy. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook and eat. Nothing is missing in the bathroom either. The master bedroom also has a comfortable balcony. We stayed in the apartment on the top floor and were delighted at gome nice it is considering how cheap it is. Not a lot to do nearby but we were planning on traveling anyway.

The hotel was in a quiet neighborhood but close enough to walk to the city center. Beautiful artwork on the walls. No lift. Staff incredibly helpful. Our room was a little small. Bed was comfortable.

The staff and breakfast options were amazing. The bed was uncomfortable and there is no elevator. Fortunately the front desk was able to take my luggage up and down.

Scalzi hotel is a cute quiet place to stay and relax, the decorations are appropriate for Verona's. The breakfast option is variety and the staff is very helpful and friendly.

Drinking glass in the room was dirty. Room smelt musty (wooden beamed ceiling), bed was damp until we turned on the air-conditioning to hot for a few hours. No tissues or bottled water in the room, breakfast was just average for Italy… outside our door was a garden where people smoked, at night they can see straight in to the sofa area…quite disappointed in the end…

We booked via booking.com and as we arrived everything was exactly like described and shown on the photos. It's been very easy for us to enjoy and relax our vacation. The apartments offer everything you need, are clean and comfy. The garden is very nicely decorated and there is outdoor toys for children. We contacted the customer service via WhatsApp and they have been very responsive. Looking forward...

Basic clean accommodation about a 15 /20 min walk into the main area. Aircon was a bit noisy in the night and lots of midges and mosquitoes in the court yard so lots of insect repellent. Otherwise all good.

Wonderful venue to stay. Charming host, rooms spotless, breakfast very nice. The bed and breakfast is situated 10 minutes from the train station and coach station - ideal for trips to Lake Garde and Venice. Verona town centre is 10 minutes in the other direction. Corte Merighi is ideally situated in a quite side street, no noise from traffic and the air conditioned rooms made very comfortable to stay...

I've been coming to this hotel for 11 years for Zucchero's concerts at the Arena. Centrally located, just steps from the Arena, the atmosphere is welcoming, with all the amenities. Massimo and Lucia are very kind, and the breakfast is generous. I've recommended it to everyone.

Super accommodation in centre It was perfect for us. In the centre of town with lift n comfortable room n help yourself breakfast. It was v clean n quiet. Lucia gave us super directions to the accommodation n info about parking. I would come again.
