Boutique Hotel Scalzi - Adults Only in Verona

The room was overall good, but when we entered we walked right into bleach (which my partner is allergic to), the whole room smelled like it, when we mentioned it they just told us ‘I can open the window for you’ Lovely that he wanted to do that 🙈, but that didn’t solve the issue 🤣
We also found that the bathroom only looked clean the floors were still dusty and well you can see for yourself in the pictures 😅 so what they did with the bleach I really don’t know.
The location is alright not far from the touristic areas, but I was a bit uncomfortable walking around to be honest.
The overall vibe of the hotel is really nice. It has character and charm which attracted us in the first place. If the cleanliness was a bit better we would have loved it! 🥰
(Just something random, but our toilet was crooked 🤣😭)

The staff and breakfast options were amazing. The bed was uncomfortable and there is no elevator. Fortunately the front desk was able to take my luggage up and down.

Drinking glass in the room was dirty. Room smelt musty (wooden beamed ceiling), bed was damp until we turned on the air-conditioning to hot for a few hours. No tissues or bottled water in the room, breakfast was just average for Italy… outside our door was a garden where people smoked, at night they can see straight in to the sofa area…quite disappointed in the end…
