Relais Colle San Pietro, Verona1 / 18High rating

Verona, Vicolo Cieco Zini 4, Veronetta (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
One of the most memorable stays in all of Europe and that says a lot since we actively seek out locations with Michelin Keys. Relais Colle San Pietro is worthy of such recognition. We stayed 3 nights, and I yearned for at least one more. Wonderful gracious hosts, attentive and kind. Breakfast was served in our room ,very generous portions and great selection. Beautifully furnished with antiques, with...
Arrived after travelling by train from Florence. Sandro was there to greet us check in seamless we went on the balcony prior to being shown to our room what struck me was the amazing view. Shown to our room it was absolutely beautiful Clearly a lot work had gone into the design. The whole relais was well thought out the location was absolutely superb the funicular was right next to the hotel. Breakfast...
Location: Excellent. Not right in the centre of old town so less noise. Views over the river. Atmosphere. It is on the top floor of a building with only 5 rooms, so the atmosphere is intimate and friendly. Rooms. Spacious - has king bed, coffee maker and sophisticated shower (many outlets) Value: Extremely good. breakfast is included and the staff do everything to make it enjoyable. Cleanliness...
Verona is a beautiful and interesting old city but was made especially affective by staying here. Located overlooking the river and bridge into the old city it’s a great location. Staff are a delight too and could not have done more to make our stay enjoyable. Our room was sizeable and well decorated with modern facilities. Definitely recommend to all visiting Verona
Having a lovely large room was great for our weeks stay. Like the location and breakfast (so much choice, we had something different every day!) the team were amazing. While it's just across the pontefract pietra bridge, it's only a few minutes stroll into town or the arena de verona if you are going to the opera, which we did. There are plenty of restraunts nearby a few of which we tried. You can...
Fantastic location just outside the old town and by the river. Parking available. Room was beautifully renovated and decorated. Breakfast area is charming - with a small balcony overlooking the city and river. Sandro was a magnificent host and the team friendly and attentive. Highly recommended as a boutique experience!

My husband and I loved the elegant views and accommodation in this hotel. You feel like you are in a movie looking down at the city of Verona by day or night. The staff were all friendly, and the bus into the city was very helpful. Very happy we found this hidden gem.
Relais Fra Lorenzo is overall a very nice hotel, perfectly located and overlooking the city with beautiful views. The outdoor pool makes it especially appealing in summer, and the service throughout is warm and friendly. Parking being included is a real plus. The main downside is breakfast, which felt underwhelming for the price point, and while the rooms have an antique charm, they could be better...
I highly recommend the hotel which has a nice panoramico view. The breakfast is awesome. They kindly gave us away a bottle of local olive. And there is a good shuttle bus service.
What a lovely place. Expected it to be in a great location, but never thought the place would be this elegant and posh! The owner and all the staff are so lovely and always happy to help. The grounds are stunning, and the place feels like a destination in itself. Want to go back to Verona just so I can relax at this lovely place for a couple of days, taking it all slow.
Let's start with the most important thing - the Fra׳ Lorenzo Hotel in Verona is a great hotel! The staff is professional, organized and most importantly very kind!!! Ready to try and fulfill any request from the guests to the best of their satisfaction! The room we stayed in was excellent, truly 5-star, and above all (literally...) the view from it was amazing! The old city of Verona including the...
From the moment we arrived the management and team could not have looked after us better. The hotel was charming friendly and very comfortable and the views from different parts of the hotel are spectacular.breakfast was lovely. We had light lunch by the pool. I stayed in a women-only room. There were other guests there already, but the room was spacious and clean. I liked that they offered free towel rentals. The hotel was also within walking distance of the tourist center, making it easy to access.
Location is a bit far from city center, about 10 minutes by walking. The staff is friendly and so helpful,  There's a well equipped kitchen, plus free coffee and tea, overall, it's value for the price!
Very friendly and helpful staff. Walking distance to downtown. Ample rooms, kitchen facilities and friendly ambiance.
It's not far from the station, has easy access to tourist spots, and the facilities are clean and the service is excellent. However, there were a few other guests who were a bit unreliable, which made being in the room a bit stressful.
Lovely little spot by Verona Lovely little base to have in the fantastic city of Verona.
Excellent service. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and they assisted me in arranging transportation to all my planned destinations.

This hotel is in a perfect location. It's close to all sites and public transport. Its spotlessly clean and the couple running it who I believe are brother and sister are very helpful. Breakfast is adequate with lovely freshly made cappuccino and a warm croissant. As a solo traveller I felt very safe here and the area has nice bars and restaurants close by.
I don’t know what to say about it. That was perfect!!! The service (people) ware amazing, specially Katia. We felt like at our home. We felt loved. The hotel is very close of many tourist points. We’re going to back to Verona, and we’re sure we’ll stay at this hotel (home).
Nice hotel nearby everything. It would hsve been nice woth a cup of coffee and a croissant within the price
Friendly and clean Pleasant structure. Staff friendly and kind. even the room was little the stay in this hotel was more than pleasant
The service was good. The hotel has an elevator, and the staff proactively helped bring our luggage to our room. It's close to the open-air amphitheater, and the hotel provides free cushions. It's convenient for visiting various attractions. It's a family-run hotel.
It's a family-run business, so it feels like home. They were kind and thoughtful, and spoke to me in a thoughtful way. The elevator button only works if you keep pressing it, which is a bit of a downside, but overall it's good. The water pressure in the shower is also good.

Excellent!!!  The lady at the reception very nice and efficient
Excellent location, close to arena and main shopping street. Room spacious and clean.
The first impression was good. But in reality: 1. The room was extremely cramped, almost too small; 2. The Wi-Fi didn't work (they couldn't help us on the first night and came to fix it in the morning. When we returned, it worked for the first 15 minutes, then it disconnected again. We didn't bother bothering anyone because it was evening again, they wouldn't have been able to help us, and we were...
The hotel is pretty good! The waiters are very enthusiastic! I stayed for three days. One day, the hotel waiter forgot to clean the room. The hotel offered to waive the breakfast fee for the next day. As a result, when I checked out, I found that the breakfast fee for three days was waived!
It is a 15-20 minute walk from the train station, quiet, with few restaurants around, a small grocery store downstairs, not far from the city center, a 10-minute walk away, and most restaurants are within the city walls. The hotel breakfast is very rich.
The location is good. The room is nice. The facilities are complete and it is convenient to get around. We parked outside and there was no charge.

We stayed in this luxurious hotel for a few nights and it was all clean and staff was very welcoming and helpful. Location wasn't bad, about 15min walk and bus stops were nearby. Other reason to come back here were lovely and strong Spritz drinks :D We would definitely recommend this hotel. We would ONLY improve their breakfast bufet.

Not a bad hotel. Clean. Personally, I found the breakfast a bit weak. I don't eat pork, and the omelet ran out. I had to settle for a piece of cheese and a croissant. However, for those who aren't picky, the breakfast is decent. Also, their policy on the spa is unclear. We arrived in Verona on a rainy day and chose this hotel specifically for the spa. However, when we checked in, the receptionist...
Our experience was great. The room was cute and restaurant phenomenal. Recommend you meet the chef like we did who made us amazing fish platter with everything from fish, shrimp, clams, scallops, Aubergine ! Their oysters were yum too and the Amorine risotto. If you are are a dessert fan, all of them spectacular,m!
I just spent a week in this hotel. It was an excellent experience. The place is spotless. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious and nicely furnished. The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly; they were very helpful when we checked in at the front desk close to midnight. The hotel's location is excellent, just a five-minute walk from the train station, perfect for catching an early train in the morning.
Convenient transportation and friendly service.
The facilities are complete, the transportation is convenient, and the service is good. It's 100 meters from the train station. There's a bus stop near the train station where you can buy tickets on the platform, which is very convenient, but we didn't quite understand how to use the tickets.
The location is incredibly convenient, right by the train station. There's even a shortcut directly to the platforms, but it's quite a hidden gem that most people wouldn't discover.
The hotel is right next to the station and directly connected to the platform. The facilities are relatively new. The breakfast is the worst in Italy. There are not many foods. They let us put our luggage outside the counter.
Situated just next to the train station, very convenient if you want to make a train trip. Walking to city center takes 20 minutes

Perfect place to stay in Verona This was the perfect hotel to stay at while visiting Verona. A warm pleasant staff eager to help in any way. A wonderful breakfast that even included gourmet scrambled eggs and crispy bacon. The rooms were delightful with perfect windows that open onto a quiet street in the heart of the historic district.
We were only there one night but it was fantastic! Great food and the square right around the corner. We had taxi service to and from even though it was mostly a pedestrian area. It was only about 13 euro from the train station. The river and bridge were only a 5 minute walk and the castle on the hill was just across the bridge where one could walk or ride the tram. We loved Verona. We stopped on our...
Nice smaller but typical Italian hotel with a great location. In a small and quiet street just behind the main historical square and walking distance to everywhere. Bit worn out as most hotels in popular Italian destinations but not too much. Nice staff
Wonderful Facility & Hotel. Fabulous location extremely central . The staff and breakfast preparation was very welcoming and courteous. Loved our stay!! Highly recommended!!
This hotel is located just around the corner from Piazza Erbe, the main and most typical square in Verona. Just keep in mind, if you come by bus from the train station, that you will need to walk 6 blocks because it is within a pedestrian area. But taxis can get to the corner if you want one. Stayed 5 nights and very happy with the hotel, the staff and the location. It’s a no frills hotel but was everything my daughter and I were looking for at a reasonable price. Would highly recommend if you want a clean, comfortable room and a friendly atmosphere. It is conveniently situated for the city and also the train station as we travelled further afield - Venice and Milan.
The hotel, the staff and the location were fabulous. The place is clean, excellently run and friendly. We came for the Opera festival and were made to feel most welcome. The hotel offers breakfast only as a meal, but there are plenty of food options available within walking distance. These range from cafe/bar options to more than acceptable restaurants.
Nice Hotel with all amenities, located halfway between the main railway station and the historic centre of Verona, easily doable on foot. Good value for money considering the prices of lower standard hotels in the centre. Another plus is that it is open 24 hours so no worry if you arrive late … Service was very good and the room was clean.
Very close to Verona train station, a taxi is 25€. The hotel entrance is very small, the lobby is also small, the room is average, and the breakfast is 9€ which is pretty good.
In terms of price/quality ratio it's probably ideal. But the breakfasts are just awful, we haven't seen such meager "food" for a long time.
The location is very close to tourist attractions, but it takes ten minutes to get to the train station. Most of the roads in the middle are uneven, and some roads are under renovation, so it is difficult to walk with suitcases. The room is overall clean, decorated in an ancient style, and the space is small. A key is required for entry and exit. Breakfast has few choices, but the price is reasonable

Easy to get to surroundef by pleasant countryside and few minutes into Verona. Spacious and homely with good bedrooms, bathrooms and excellent helpful and professional staff with nice balconies on some bedrooms and lovely outdoor terrace for sunny days. Excellent value for Verona. Stayed several times and always happy.
Very helpful staff. Beautiful immediate surroundings. Reachable best by car. Reaching the hotel by bus is doable, but be prepared to walk short distances along a busy road with minimal space for pedestrians.
Very friendly and professional staff.the room is spacious and very clean. Sly available and breakfast very good
When traveling on business in Italy, you must book a hotel with parking. This hotel has it and it's free. The room is OK, the bathroom is clean and the facilities are OK. Very cost-effective hotel.
Just AWSOME. EVERYTHING WAS AWSOME. The room , the staff. Hats off.
Lovely and helpful staff. The room was a bit outdated, but it was clean and had all the essential conveniences (wifi, TV, fridge, AC). The hotel is located a few miles outside the city centre, but there are bus stops both ways right outside the hotel. Fantastic value for the money!

Our stay was okay. Parking was free. Cleaners were amazing, the room was sparkling clean. Breakfast was so so, not many options, mainly bread and croissants. Location was good, close to downtown Verona.
Property and staff excellent. Only my bathroom had a small leak from shower. Water was coming to the floor. I forgot to mention to the staff.
We recently stayed at this hotel located on the outskirts of Verona, and overall, it was a very pleasant experience. Although it’s not in the city center, the location is still quite convenient thanks to the bus stop located directly across from the hotel. Buses run every 20 minutes and are generally punctual. The hotel is well-located, with most sites just a short drive or even a walk away if you have a car. The balcony is a major plus, spacious and great for relaxing. Very good quality/price ratio! Good location, car parking included in room rate, clean, good service and low price. Roman Arena is less than 10 minutes walking away.
