We'll definitely be staying here again.

The hotel is very good nice real nice room nice food. I try almost all the restaurant in the hotel because I spend 8 night there and my family plays ski and snowboard almost every day. We love the environment around there. It’s so cool if you had a chance we will go back again soon.

Overall, the hotel was great for a 4-5 days stay. Not as luxurious as the Hyatt over at Hanazono but it does its job.

The hot spring was incredibly relaxing, especially soaking in it while enjoying the snowy scenery. It's a shame they don't allow photos. However, the hotel's food was really terrible, I almost fainted from how bad it was. And dinner was 260 per person!

Excellent place to stay at during the winter. Location was amazing, located right on the ski slope allowing my son to ski in and out of the hotel. It is also quite peaceful and quiet as the property is not at an overly touristy area. Rooms were also very comfortable and clean. Highly recommend, 10/10

This is by far one of the best hotels we've stayed at in our whole trip to Hokkaido. The location was unbeatable as it was right behind the Hirafu Welcome Center. Booked this last minute, and it was the only small room left. Even in late March, near the end of the snow season, the hotel was fully booked. The 7 or 8 parking spots out front require a reservation and cost 4000 JPY per night. Although my room was small, it had a beautiful, unobstructed view of Mount Yotei. It was clean and tidy. It's really convenient for getting to Annupuri ski resort. They have a shuttle service that takes you there right away, and the staff are very friendly.

This is our second time staying at this hotel for the ski season. Although it's a bit old, it offers great value for money. The rooms are spacious and come with a kitchen, and the laundry room is convenient and reasonably priced. It's a shame that many shuttle bus routes and stops have been canceled this year; we can only get to the nearest Annupuri, and need to take the Niseko bus to other ski resorts...

The hotel was clean, but the location is not so good for the whole niseko area and their shuttles don’t cover many places. The service was bad, specially in the restaurant, I always had to have dinner there cause I didn’t have another option during the evening. Everytime I had dinner they wouldn’t even bring forks or spoons to eat even when they already brought the food, they could forget my fork...

The room was spacious and perfect for family trips.

Parking and access to the ski slopes are very convenient. The front desk service is attentive; a staff member helped with our luggage and even provided pajamas for the whole family upon check-in. The room facilities are complete and new, with a superb view overlooking Mount Yotei. The breakfast is also quite good.

It was my first time staying at a 4-star hotel, and it was really nice that I could use the private hot spring by making a 40-minute reservation. Dinner was served in the dining area, but I couldn't eat it.

Unfortunately the hotel restaurant requires reservations but without prior notice. The restaurant only occupied by 3 tables. Don’t understand why hotel restaurant not allowing guests to use. There are not many food options around the property. End up walking to the convenience store for food. Staying in a very nice hotel and eating cold sandwiches is not I expected it.

It’s a beautiful hotel, room is excellent. The grounds around the hotel is very pleasant, making strolling around the area refreshing. It’s was during the off peak period, so it’s not crowded, though several businesses were not opened. It’s a good time to enjoy some less energetic exercises like walking around and enjoying the scenery and fresh air.

Been to Niseko for skiing for 3 years. This is honestly the best price-to-value hotel. You get every essential things, location, ski-in-ki-out, and onsen.

It's clean and friendly. The room is small, but the bed is spacious enough for four people, so you can sleep comfortably. Mount Yotei is visible from the hotel. Recommended for rental car travelers.

The room is quite spacious with a beautiful view directly overlooking the ski slopes from the window. We could cook our own meals and even bought ingredients to grill outside. Direct access to the ski slopes right from the hotel entrance. The hotel service was excellent; staff even drove us to a nearby place to pick up our rented ski equipment.

Location is a little bit away from the ski lifts but they do have a shuttle bus although I wish there were more bus timings. Staff were friendly and helpful although not all speak English. The cleanliness was just okay, not exceptionally good, because I stayed for 5 days and the room wasn't cleaned once. The facilities weren't great, but it offered pretty good value for money. The location is quite remote, and it's inconvenient without a car.

Location is good for snowboarding in Annupuri Ski resort. The hot spring or Onsen is also great! The staff member are really helpful and kind. The staff service is excellent, and the outdoor onsen is beautiful and very enjoyable. The only downside is that during peak hours, there are a lot of external visitors, but if you avoid those times, it's incredibly relaxing. There are limited food options both inside and nearby, so it's advisable to come prepared for that. The room was lovely, and the futons were very comfortable.

Very clean rooms, outdoor onsen some organic matter but mostly ok. Though they tried to close breakfast early on us one morning. 3 people including myself didn't get the full breakfast buffet. Parking is about 10 spaces or so. I went in late March, away from peak season so was enough.

Great time at Terrazze. The room was very spacious and kept clean. Hotel staff were kind and very professional and responsive. Great locker area to store ski equipment with ample drying rack space to keep the boots and gloves dry for the next day. No complaints and would definitely stay again.

Stayed here for 3 nights for our honeymoon. Thomas was super helpful with our check in and out! The room and amenities were great! Nicely tucked away from the main areas so it was nice and quiet. The driver pickup/drop-off to and from the snow fields was also a game changer. Highly recommend!

Three of us rented a pleasant 2-bd unit here during peak ski season. Rooms and bathrooms were spacious. The well-equipped kitchen worked great for pre-ski breakfast and would have been fine for dinner too if we weren't so wiped out after skiing and onsen. Ski lounge is spacious and easily accessed. This is probably the cheapest ski-in/ski-out hotel in Niseko, and ski-in/ski-out is truly essential! Carrying ski boards uphill is just too tiring. Plus, there's a hot spring on the first floor of the hotel, which feels amazing.

The location is ideal, right in the center of town. However, getting to and from the slopes (ski-in/ski-out) requires navigating a very long and slippery staircase. The private hot spring in the room was a great perk.

This is the best choice for solo travelers looking for a quick in-and-out stay. Although it's been open for a while, the facilities and hot spring quality are still above the average for Japanese hotels. Do note that rooms are not cleaned daily, and the connecting staircase between the first floor and the family course is quite long, so please be careful.

Zaborin Onsen Ryokan truly exceeded our expectations! The beautiful natural scenery was incredibly refreshing, and combined with delicious meals, a clean and spacious room, and delightful indoor and outdoor onsen baths, it made for a perfect vacation experience.

Finally checked off my must-stay hotel! Getting to the hotel from Sapporo was easier than I expected. Zaborin offers a pick-up service from Kuch'an Station. The autumn scenery along the way was breathtaking. This adjective also describes the Michelin-starred dining experience; I personally preferred the breakfast, which was exceptionally refined.

A truly wonderful experience. The setting is private and the rooms feel nestled in the woodland. The service is friendly, polite and attentive. The rooms are large and comfortable, and the indoor and outdoor spring pools were a treat. The food was innovative and tasty with beautiful ingredients. Zaborin has entered into the ranks of one of my favourite ryokans in Japan. We visited in the midst of a very hot summer and even though the ryokan was not air conditioned and we were so warm the whole time (except in the room) we still enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. The house was nestled in the woods, very quiet, and the snow view outside the window was beautiful, like something out of a comic book. The owner (male) was a foreigner (from Europe), but spoke excellent Chinese. He could easily pronounce some Chinese characters, and his pronunciation was very standard, even better than many Chinese people like myself—impressive! The owner loved Chinese food and culture...

Enjoyed a nice long stay at Freedom Inn, the staff helped ensure I had a restful stay, and provided transportation to Hanazono for access to the slopes. For a small service fee the staff will pick up a take-out dinner for you if you would prefer to eat dinner at the hotel after a long day on the mountain.

I extended my stay for another day for a total of 6 days. I thoroughly enjoyed my time. Dave san made everything so easy.
