Excellent hotel, high prices but you get what you’re paying for
I go here every year! This year was my first time seeing snow, and even though I don't ski, I absolutely love Hokkaido's food and weather. It was great to see Hokkaido with snow, which gave it a different charm than in autumn! Having Mount Yotei right in front of me was truly amazing! The hotel service was also excellent. I'm hoping to visit again next year during the autumn leaf season!
Fabulous hotel in Niseko, sorry, it’s top hotel in the world !!!!!!!!! Must come back again for it!!!!!!!
Overall, I'm quite satisfied. The room is spacious, and communication with the front desk was smooth. There are also many restaurants (not saying they're amazing, but definitely much better than the Ritz-Carlton we stayed at the second night). If you have to choose between the two, absolutely do not stay at the Ritz-Carlton! It's unbelievably terrible.
Rooms are wonderful with a dining table and sofa.
Restaurants are Difficult to book.
Staff are very helpful and friendly.
Park Hyatt Niseko Hanazono’s architecture, environment, interior design, and lighting design were all truly wonderful. We were consistently impressed by the excellence of service, which made our visit even more memorable.
The food and beverage service was warm and attentive, enhancing the overall dining experience. The front desk and transportation team were outstanding in assisting us with our trip...

Overall, the hotel was great for a 4-5 days stay. Not as luxurious as the Hyatt over at Hanazono but it does its job.
The room was very spacious, and the outdoor onsen's night view was absolutely stunning. Snowflakes were falling overhead while the hot spring pool steamed, creating a truly blissful moment. The hotel offers direct ski-in/out access, which is incredibly convenient and hassle-free. Breakfast was abundant, and there's a bus stop right in front of the hotel with direct service to Sapporo city and New Chitose...
The hot spring was incredibly relaxing, especially soaking in it while enjoying the snowy scenery. It's a shame they don't allow photos. However, the hotel's food was really terrible, I almost fainted from how bad it was. And dinner was 260 per person!
Excellent place to stay at during the winter. Location was amazing, located right on the ski slope allowing my son to ski in and out of the hotel. It is also quite peaceful and quiet as the property is not at an overly touristy area. Rooms were also very comfortable and clean. Highly recommend, 10/10
Ski in Ski out hotel ! Good Good
Sleek, clean rooms. Excellent service. Can rent ski equipment and gear from hotel, then ski right away. Onsen and massage were wonderful. Great buffet!

Fantastic hotel and staff. You will not regret booking this place.
Booked this last minute, and it was the only small room left. Even in late March, near the end of the snow season, the hotel was fully booked. The 7 or 8 parking spots out front require a reservation and cost 4000 JPY per night. Although my room was small, it had a beautiful, unobstructed view of Mount Yotei. It was clean and tidy. The second photo in the middle is of a larger room type, which I hope...
Super nice stay at Skye Niseko. Clean room with friendly services.
Ski-in ski-out hotel right next to the slopes. Wonderful staff and service. Convenient in hotel equipment rentals. Highly recommended.
Environment: The hotel is right next to the ski resort.
Cleanliness: Clean.
Service: Professional service provided.
Facilities: Very modern.
It's really beautiful, and the location is quite convenient.
However, there wasn't enough snow for skiing, so we couldn't ski anywhere.
The hotel didn't offer any compensation, and we had to drive to another ski resort (3.5 hours round trip). But trip.com was very helpful and resolved the issue for us.

It's really convenient for getting to Annupuri ski resort. They have a shuttle service that takes you there right away, and the staff are very friendly.
This is our second time staying at this hotel for the ski season. Although it's a bit old, it offers great value for money. The rooms are spacious and come with a kitchen, and the laundry room is convenient and reasonably priced. It's a shame that many shuttle bus routes and stops have been canceled this year; we can only get to the nearest Annupuri, and need to take the Niseko bus to other ski resorts...
The hotel was clean, but the location is not so good for the whole niseko area and their shuttles don’t cover many places.
The service was bad, specially in the restaurant, I always had to have dinner there cause I didn’t have another option during the evening. Everytime I had dinner they wouldn’t even bring forks or spoons to eat even when they already brought the food, they could forget my fork...
spacious room and very clean. the view is to the beautiful mountain.
Dusty room and bad smell, staffs is friendly and helpful. Just next to Ski resort
The room was spacious and perfect for family trips.

Snowy landscape
We had a very comfortable stay with complete amenities in the house. Feeling calm and healing atmosphere as we were surrounded by a beautuful snowy landscape. Love the view especially morning sunrise as we can see Mt Yotei clearly from the room. Highly recommend for a stay in Niseko.
The place is in great shape and has plenty of space! The company that runs it is very good about communication. We booked our snowboarding thru them and it was very convenient. They also were quick to accommodate some unique needs that we had.
A couple things to consider - the lodging is at the bottom of the hill in Grand Hirafu. You can technically walk to...
Absolutely amazing stay. Could not have asked for more. Eighth year in Niseko. Best service, super helpful and great recommendations. The apartment was great, the appliances fantastic. Basics with laundry detergent and washing machine powder and basics like coffee for first day is always appreciated. Thank you Team Niseko Central ❤️
The room in the basement was very cold and unusable. It is a homestay with no services or restaurants, just a house for you to arrange yourself.

The room was spacious and clean. They only came to change the towels and empty the trash every day.
Excellent location with high comfortable living conditions.
This is a very convenient ski-in/ski-out hotel. The rooms were clean and spacious enough for our family. There was also plenty of storage in the closets. What we were especially satisfied with was the service, particularly from a Chinese-speaking male staff member at the front desk. He was very patient in answering our questions and providing assistance, giving us a wonderful first experience in Niseko...
Perfect accommodation experience, clean, well-spaced, and well-equipped. I will definitely choose this hotel again when I come to Niseko
It's clean and friendly.
The room is small, but the bed is spacious enough for four people, so you can sleep comfortably. Mount Yotei is visible from the hotel.

The room is clean and spacious with full facilities and a good view. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. There is a washing machine and dishwasher. There is a locker for storing ski equipment on the ground floor. After playing, you don't have to carry it up to the room. It's great.

Beautiful ski in ski out property.
We loved the views of Mt Yotei from our huge 2 bedroom apartment. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and tended to our every need. Superb stay!
Everyone at Maples are friendly and helpful. Rendering their assistance from fetching us at Hirafu Welcome centre, Rhythm for our ski rental, sending us to dot base for ski class. Even to the restaurant nearby.
Ski in ski out and snow play are just a stone away.
Pizza restaurant there are fabulous too
The hotel is in a great location, very close to Hirafu Welcome Center. The staff will contact us by email in advance, and the pick-up is very convenient and on time! There is a locker for ski equipment on B1, which is a real skiin-out. B1 goes directly to the chairlift, and it only takes 5 minutes to walk to Ace Gondola! Buffet breakfast was nice. We tried the dinner on two nights and they were quite similar. Dinner was a bit on the expensive side so would not recommend eating there mutiple nights in a row due to the lack of variety...
Amazing! We loved hotel Kanro no morí so much and will definitely be back!
Great spot excellent food and service easy access to hirafu by bus and quiet location
The cleanliness was just okay, not exceptionally good, because I stayed for 5 days and the room wasn't cleaned once. The facilities weren't great, but it offered pretty good value for money.
The location is quite remote, and it's inconvenient without a car.
hotel lobby looked very grand, but room was old style toilet had a constant pee smell but other than that everything was clean, and the hotel had a free shuttle bus to annipuri ski
Location is good for snowboarding in Annupuri Ski resort. The hot spring or Onsen is also great! The staff member are really helpful and kind.
However the room had a bad Oder, when we requested to change rooms, we found all rooms has bad Oder…. Which is troubling…

Decent accomodation option, good price, and the breakfast was great. A little out of town but they have shuttles. The beds however were really small, smaller than a single bed..
For this price, the location is excellent; it's about a 10-minute walk to the village of Hirafu. It's very quiet. The breakfast is very Western-style. A shuttle bus runs every 30 minutes.
There's no onsen (hot spring), but you can use the onsen at the sister hotel, Vale.
A noticeable problem is the poor soundproofing. The walls are okay, but the doors aren't soundproof.
We went during summer, so there wasn’t much to do around (not saying that it’s a bad thing). Hotel was clean, but you have to drive to get to this hotel. Toilet was big and spacious. Air conditioning had some issues on the first day but it somehow was fixed by the second night. It shouldn’t be an issue for most people since people only come here during winter.
Very good only 8 minutes from Hirafu, with Shuttle Bus transfer.
Overall good!
But in the morning to take a shower to open the water earlier, maybe lately too cold, D water not so quickly hot. Customer service is very good. Breakfast is average.
4 star hotel
The room is small thought the hotel is quite new and modern. Live the breakfast, has many options. The location is a bit far but hotel provides shuttle service.
Enjoyed my stay here. The room was clean and modern, staff were very helpful, the restaurant was convenient, and they offered a free shuttle to the slopes every 20 minutes. Would recommend.

Stayed two nights on Feb 8-10th. Very traditional Japanese hotel, feels more catered to local Japanese who speaks language. Location is ski in/out at base of Grand Hirafu resort, convenient for skiers esp those with own equipments, resort has good storage facility! Minimart & vending machine in hotel makes it very convenient too. Decor is not impressive. Did not try the breakfast. Have to pay onsen...
they are asking for tourist tax 700 yen which didn’t notice before check out . That was disappointing
Nice and clean swimming pool facilities.
Great atmosphere and service.
I love the onsen. Especially a long hard ski on the powder
Honestly just came for the onsen as I was staying at the more budget Owashi lodge (R.I.P) across the street.
Still good value and awesome views
A very pleasant stay, our family have the best time in this skii resort, it is like living next to snow. Breakfast with a variety of sashimi and amazing view you never forget. They have 3 beds room, just nice for a family of 3.

Fantastic service and great place to get away and relax
The room was very cozy, the service was attentive, and the attention to detail was excellent. Highly recommended.
I just booked on Ctrip, and the hotel promptly sent an email asking about any food allergies and my arrival time. I chose this apartment hotel when I came to Niseko for skiing. The reception staff was very enthusiastic and was happy to help me send my ski bag to Tokyo when I checked out, and arranged a shuttle bus to take us to Kutchan Station. Great location, close to restaurants, ski rental and ski area. Easy walk up for the station, would not be great with the ski equipment. Clean apartment and well supplied with all that you may need for a short or long stay. Easy check-in and check-out. Well recommended.
Stayed for a week in February in the Studio Apartment. Just right for a couple, small kitchen with microwave/oven, sink, fridge and appliances (no cooktop). OK for breakfast or food truck meals, but a bit small for cooking dinner. I would not expect to entertain guests here :) That’s OK since many restaurant choices around, but don’t forget to make reservations. Large locker for ski gear and washer...
Great place in the centre of town, lots of space, perfect for us. Nice seating which you don’t always get. Easy apartment to live in and has everything you need. Good secure ski locker. Thanks Arthur, you’re amazing especially when I hurt myself skiing. To Louis and Lewis for going out of your way with transport. To the three of you for restaurant and food truck suggestions and the onsen recommendation
Best Value in Town
This place is amazing. Its right next to the center of the Hirafu town where all the action (food) and transportation is. Lawson also right next door. Rooms are small but smartly designed, I felt more comfortable here than in many other larger hotel rooms. Staff was friendly and wanting to go above and beyond to help me get out of a jam when there were no taxis in town.
Great room, lots of space. Provide almost all necessity and appliance required. Right beside lawson. Right by the main road and center of hirafu. 10/10 will come again. Jordy is very friendly, recommended food places to us, and even provided transport service for us!

My family and I had a fantastic stay at The Vale Niseko in January 2026. We spent three nights in a family-friendly two-bedroom suite, which was perfect for our small child (a 3 years old). Very nice and clean room with a very big bathtub. Shoutout to Jessica for her warm hospitality and assistance! Will definitely come again.
Luxury at a reasonable price
The property is about 50 yards from the ski lift. The room is spacious and well appointed. We had a kitchenette with fridge and microwave as well as flatware. The Onsen is smaller but nice and comfortable / relaxing.
My first trip to Niseko was great, and the three days at The Vale Hotel were quite memorable. Check-in was very smooth, and there was no annoying waiting at all. The room layout and facilities of the suite were in line with expectations, and it was suitable for a long stay for families. The price-performance ratio is quite good among hotels in the same area. However, the blackout effect of the curtains...

The location is fantastic, and it comes with breakfast and a hot spring. You can just ski right out of the hotel. The only downside is that the hotel is a bit old, but the price is great, offering excellent value for money. It's also very close to the supermarket.
Amazing experience, all the staff was so nice and helpful. They really made me and my friend feel at home for my birthday week. Private onsen in the room, used it twice a day for 4 days. Ski in ski out, ticket booth right next to hotel. Couldnt have asked for anything more. 5 stars niseko prince for the win! Arrigato!!!!! 🙌🙌🙌
This is probably the cheapest ski-in/ski-out hotel in Niseko, and ski-in/ski-out is truly essential! Carrying ski boards uphill is just too tiring. Plus, there's a hot spring on the first floor of the hotel, which feels amazing.
The location is ideal, right in the center of town. However, getting to and from the slopes (ski-in/ski-out) requires navigating a very long and slippery staircase. The private hot spring in the room was a great perk.
This is the best choice for solo travelers looking for a quick in-and-out stay. Although it's been open for a while, the facilities and hot spring quality are still above the average for Japanese hotels. Do note that rooms are not cleaned daily, and the connecting staircase between the first floor and the family course is quite long, so please be careful.

Parking and access to the ski slopes are very convenient. The front desk service is attentive; a staff member helped with our luggage and even provided pajamas for the whole family upon check-in. The room facilities are complete and new, with a superb view overlooking Mount Yotei. The breakfast is also quite good.
It was my first time staying at a 4-star hotel, and it was really nice that I could use the private hot spring by making a 40-minute reservation. Dinner was served in the dining area, but I couldn't eat it.
Unfortunately the hotel restaurant requires reservations but without prior notice. The restaurant only occupied by 3 tables. Don’t understand why hotel restaurant not allowing guests to use. There are not many food options around the property. End up walking to the convenience store for food. Staying in a very nice hotel and eating cold sandwiches is not I expected it.
It’s a beautiful hotel, room is excellent. The grounds around the hotel is very pleasant, making strolling around the area refreshing. It’s was during the off peak period, so it’s not crowded, though several businesses were not opened. It’s a good time to enjoy some less energetic exercises like walking around and enjoying the scenery and fresh air.

The staff service is excellent, and the outdoor onsen is beautiful and very enjoyable. The only downside is that during peak hours, there are a lot of external visitors, but if you avoid those times, it's incredibly relaxing. There are limited food options both inside and nearby, so it's advisable to come prepared for that. The room was lovely, and the futons were very comfortable.
Breakfast is good, many varieties. Good service
Clean and quiet hotel with attentive staff.
Check-in was smooth, and the room was well maintained.
Would happily stay here again.
the onsen was surprisingly good.
You have to make your own bed. You also have to use the public bath for showering. However, the breakfast was excellent. Overall, it's pretty good value for money.
Very clean rooms, outdoor onsen some organic matter but mostly ok. Though they tried to close breakfast early on us one morning. 3 people including myself didn't get the full breakfast buffet. Parking is about 10 spaces or so. I went in late March, away from peak season so was enough.

Our stay at Shimai (Chalet #63) was nothing short of amazing!
