Southern Cross Resort in Ito

The hotel is aged but the price was bargain when we booked. The rooms are very spacious but again the furnishings does shows history, it’s still clean nevertheless. The onsen is very nice and the golf course view is amazing, however we just have a quick sleepover so didn’t enjoy must of what the hotel has to offers. We choose here for the price value and proximity to the central part of Ito for restaurants and supermarket, close to the hill, zoo, and the coast

The location is a bit remote, on the mountain, but there is a parking lot. It is highly recommended for friends who drive by themselves. Although the setting is relatively old, it is cheap, clean, and very quiet. There is a golf course downstairs, which can provide golf entertainment. The hotel also has hot springs for soaking

This is my third time staying here for work. I know it's not fair to compare them, but compared to modern business hotels, this hotel feels outdated. I was satisfied with the food, the large public bath, and the location.

This golf resort is located in the mountains. Transportation is a bit inconvenient, so we drove there. The hotel hasn't been renovated for a long time, and the facilities are very old. There's no WiFi. The hotel is in a great location, with views of Mount Fuji and Mount Omuro.

The hotel is located on a mountain golf course, making transportation difficult. The hotel offers a shuttle bus, but it's infrequent and difficult to catch. Therefore, you need to hike about 3 kilometers to get back to the hotel. Consider your stamina and the weight of your luggage if you're staying here. Those with limited stamina should be cautious. The hotel facilities are a bit dated, with only one bathing pool; it's hardly a hot springs hotel. Because it's located on a mountain, we recommend booking a room with dinner included. Dinner is a banquet menu with only two options, which change every two days. Drinks are extra and subject to tax, making them expensive. The hotel staff struggle with English and will need translation software or Japanese. The rooms are spacious, with windows that open wide, and on a clear day, you can see Mount Fuji.

It was pretty good!
However, there is a mountain path to get there at night, so just be careful.
The old building has been slightly renovated, so some things have an old feel to them.
Tokai Bus currently has few routes...
It's quite close if you get off at Shinmachi Station!

Renewed because I like the hot spring and breakfast here. It would be better if the price was more affordable.
