They charged me 2x what my emailed receipt said, and acted like they didn’t speak English when I tried to contest at checkout.

Gross and borderline predatory - stay away. Golf is great, hotel is not.

Asked for a refund and they told me to kick rocks.

Cherry on top: they didn’t load my golf bag into the car (it was sitting right next to all of my stuff that they grabbed), so I had to coordinate (via email…..?????) to get it from them.

Truly a bummer that a top 100 course in the world boasts accommodations this poor.

The golf course is great. The hotel clearly needs to improve in several ways, the service is far from good, people at recepcion did not speak english and they were messing it all the time, the hotel in general needs a full refirbishment, outdated. Do not expect nothing to do on the nearby areas but the views from the hotel are great

The hotel has a great view, overlooking the sea, and features a golf course, a large lawn, a swimming pool, and a clean hot spring with pleasant air. It's a very nice hotel.

A place so serene, even your phone signal meditates.
Colonial charm meets ocean breeze—like Gatsby went golfing in Japan.
The golf course? Legendary. Even the seagulls pause to admire your swing (or laugh at it).
Rooms feel like history gave you a hug.
Service? So polite, I felt like royalty with bedhead.
Yes, it's a bit pricey—but so is time travel, and this place is basically 1930s luxury in HD.
Caution: You may never want to check out.

The hotel environment is fantastic, with vast lawns and the sea right outside. The outdoor hot springs offer views of the sea and the moon, and the hot springs are amazing. The facilities are also excellent. The hotel's interior decor is a bit dated, but the rooms are quite spacious!

First-line sea view room, good service attitude, breakfast is available in Western and Japanese! The hot spring pool has good water quality and elegant environment! The 9-hole sea view golf course is a good choice for business and leisure!
