Where to stay in Ito

The hotel's overall environment is good, with both outdoor and indoor hot springs. However, a female receptionist at the front desk saw us discussing in Chinese and rolled her eyes and shook her head at another colleague.

We got caught in a snowstorm in Izu, which brought traffic to a standstill. The staff personally drove us to the train station, in two separate trips, for which we are incredibly grateful. The hotel's breakfast and dinner were excellent, and the service was superb. I would definitely recommend this place next time!

Breakfast and dinner were excellent with a great variety of food. The room was clean and tidy. We had a really good experience! The hotel even has ping-pong and billiards tables, plus KTV. We'll definitely choose this place again next time we're in Izu.

The hotel offers a shuttle service, and both the environment and rooms are excellent. Although the hotel has been around for a while, it's very well-maintained. The hot spring and swimming pool are great too. It's very close to Mount Omuro, just a short taxi ride away, and from Mount Omuro, you can catch a bus to the coast.

I always used this place with my dog. The dog run is also on a steep slope, which my dogs loved. Lake Ippeki was also fun to walk around. There are also some customers who don't bring their dogs, so I think it's best for people who have well-trained dogs. The food was also delicious.

The family-style open-air bath was large and quite nice, but it was first-come, first-served and there were no set times, so if multiple people were using it at the same time, you'd end up wasting time... Maybe it would be better to make a reservation at least during the cherry blossom season.

The kind couple welcomed us warmly and cheerfully. The open-air bath was spacious and we had it all to ourselves, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Nice place with beautiful private onsen. The dinner and breakfast are yummy and have different kinds of food everyday. The food is fresh and special in Ito. Mr Tadashi is very nice and he drive and pick us at Izu-Kōgen station. Highly recommend 👍🏻

This historic hotel is essentially a youth hostel. Guests are responsible for making their own beds, buying their own toothbrushes and toothpaste, and there is no housekeeping service. Please consider this carefully before booking.

The room has tatami mats and a river view, which is nice. Rooms without a river view can also see the sea, which is nice. It's just that it's light to walk.
