Very nice onsen. Room has some stains, outdated bathrooms that had persistent lingering odors. Too pricey for what it was and the location honestly, but the hotel itself was decent.
Comfortable hotel to stay in Ito. Just next to the supermarket so that grocery shopping can be very easy.
offer ito station pick up from 2-6pm and drop off by 10am. not comfortable to make bed in japanese style room
This is one of the best hotels we stayed in Japan. Best helpful people, great onsens and authentic atmosphere. Highly recommend.
It’s a traditional style onsen hotel, the decoration is a bit too old compared to the photos of the official website though I think it has been renovated. The onsen was okay and didn’t look clean because of the old renovation. The toilet inside the room had a bad smell.
Pretty good experience, but the parking cost 1000yen per night

I can only say the scenery was decent and it was very cheap. However, the service attitude was quite average; I didn't really feel like I received much service. I heard the hot spring across the street is bigger and more comfortable, but I didn't have time to go.
The hotel is just a short walk from Ito Station, with a 7-Eleven along the way. The service was excellent, and communication in English was no problem. The location is very convenient, and it's easy to get to Mount Omuro by bus, as there's a direct route from the bus stop nearby!
Traditional design room, the room is huge for one person, it was nice and clean. Great location, next to seaside and 7 mins to train station. Wake up with a dazzling seaview, enjoyed 2 peaceful morning.
Met few staffs during stay, all elderly people, they’re so warm and friendly.
Stayed 2 nights at this lovely place. Hotel was very near the train station and within walking distance to many restaurants and cafes. The staff at this hotel were warm and I felt really taken care of. We were able to understand each other with simple English and Japanese. My room was spacious and had a great view of the sea and sunrise! The onsen in the room was big and I had a good time soaking in...
The hotel was overall okay for a short stay. The room was clean and the basics were provided.
Absolutely amazing. Book the room with an open air bath and having a private hot spring bath whenever you want is divine. That combined with the traditional tatami room just brought the whole stay together. Will definitely come back!!

My first time here at this very quaint and traditional ryokan onsen! Amazing hospitality service from the staff! Food was so good! And the outdoor private onsen was super relaxing! Our experience was not the least bit dampened by the rains! We will be back!
Beautiful view from outdoor spa.
The perfect getaway for a short vacation. The rooms are limited but it is definitely worth it. Each room comes with a private backyard and hot spring. To top it off, the view is amazing and overlooks the ocean.
The food and service was also amazing. A lot of food but it was too good to leave left overs. Few of the staff speak english as well so that was reassuring.
Amazing view of the ocean with a superb outdoor onsen. The food was plentiful. We liked the traditional style of the rooms.
It’s our most memorable trip for this fantastic hotel. We definitely will come back again ☺️
The view from the room is beautiful, the private bath facing the Pacific Ocean, dinner and breakfast are amazing, the service from the lady in Hong Kong is very attentive, great experience!

"We had an absolutely amazing stay and only wish we had booked for longer! This ryokan is a true gem in Japan and easily the best place we have ever stayed. The atmosphere is incredibly peaceful, and both the onsen and the rooms are so relaxing—we’re leaving feeling completely rejuvenated. The highlight, however, was the staff; they are an amazing, lovely team who made us feel so welcome. Also, the...
Izunohana was my first luxury hot spring inn, and I was completely satisfied! I'd love to return as a treat.

I stayed at Tsubaki on January 13th. It was a detached room, but it was new, clean, and comfortable. There are stairs to get to and from meals, so please be careful if you have weak legs.

I stayed in the Shobu room for two days and one night, starting on November 20th.
First of all, the food was outstanding; both dinner and breakfast were by far the best I've had at any ryokan I've ever had.
The alfonsino shabu-shabu for dinner was already satisfying, but the next day they served me a simmered dish using the same alfonsino head as the shabu-shabu, so the mealtimes continued to be...
November 2nd - 3rd, Cosmos, 2 people
Located in a quiet location about a 15-minute drive from Izukogen Station.
Stepping inside, you're greeted by the rustling bamboo grove and the pleasant sounds of birdsong, creating a special space that makes you forget your daily routine.
・Accommodation/Hospitality
We stayed in the detached "Cosmos," located down a stone-paved staircase from the entrance....
Authentic onsen experience you can enjoy in Japan. Despite the language barrier and remoteness of the location, their staff are welcoming and warm, food is excellent and fresh, definitely love it.
The seafood sashimi portion was a little small, but the meal was satisfying.
The stairs from the parking lot to the front room were difficult for me, as I have bad knees.

I stayed at Anda no Mori Izu Ippeki Lake with a friend's family! The grounds are spacious, and there are plenty of indoor and outdoor activities, so it's great that the kids can run around freely. We stayed here as a four-generation trip with four children and eight adults! There were plenty of indoor and outdoor play areas, and the kids had fun from start to finish! I didn't take a photo but it looks amazing 👍
Previously, it had the atmosphere of an ``adult retreat'' with course dinners, but it has now become a family-friendly facility. Dinner was changed to a buffet, which was a little disappointing as I wanted to spend an elegant adult night, but it was no fault of my children who were happily frolicking around the hall, and above all, it was fun to stay over. Probably. It's the height of indecency to...

I stayed here on a weekday for a room only stay.
It's close to the station and has a decent number of restaurants, so it's in a great location for train travel.
Parking is available in a nearby parking lot for 500 yen per night.
The facilities are a little old, but the location and the room were larger than I expected, which is very appreciated in these times.
It was quiet as it was a weekday,...
Good location just about 5-minute walk from the station and there is convenience store nearby.
Staffs were nice and the room was big and tidy.
A modern version of a ryokan (Japanese inn) near a station?
It doesn't have to be hot spring water, but I wish there was a bath available. The shower alone is cold in the winter. There was no strange smell in the room or hallway. 😄 It's a shame there weren't any outlets by the bed. I couldn't charge my smartphone while watching it. If the extension cord in the room was a little longer, that would solve...
The hotel was great – very clean with excellent service. Parking was 500 yen per day, and you could come and go as you pleased. My girlfriend wasn't feeling well, so we asked for a late check-out, and they were accommodating. Since the hotel was full, they allowed us to check out half an hour later, which was really helpful. Clean, quiet, and well-equipped with convenient facilities. The staff are incredibly friendly and always ready to help with any issues. A highly recommended stay!
Amazing hotel! Everything is thought out to the last detail – toothbrushes, combs, shampoos, conditioners, tissues, cotton swabs, makeup remover, a yukata, and more. The location was great and it was very relaxing
Thank you for the wonderful time ♡
Both the open-air bath in the room and the private bath were very comfortable and healed!
I was told that it was built by renovating an old private house, so I felt it was very tasteful.
I think there were other guests, but the room had an open-air bath, and breakfast and dinner were served in private rooms, so I was able to spend a relaxing time.

There are only a few rooms, so there is a strong sense of privacy.
The hospitality of the staff and the food were very nice. The bath in the room was also very relaxing.
There were places where I could feel the oldness of the facility, but it was also a good atmosphere.
It has become an inn that I can't help but want to be taken care of again.
My boyfriend and I went on my birthday trip in March. The food, customer service, rooms, and hot springs are all top notch. As a 100-year-old old private house has been renovated, it is a wonderful room with a deep taste in the structure and rooms, and a harmonious interior imported from Europe. The best part was the open-air bath on the spacious wooden deck. A cute squirrel will also climb up ^ ^...
A hidden inn surrounded by nature. The room was clean and the open-air bath while listening to the chirping of birds was the best. All the dishes are very satisfying and the amount is sufficient. In addition, the room service and customer service were solid, and it was a wonderful inn with a perfect score in everything. Don't miss the Jogasaki coast. I want to go again.
This place is awesome. The food was great and the ambiance was soothing. We especially liked the noise of the birds, and watching the squirrels jump tree to tree from the private onsen in the room. Its a small hotel but we never saw any of the other guest. Very private.

There's an outdoor onsen, but I'm not really used to tatami mats. There was no convenient place to charge my phone, and the TV remote was out of battery.
Excellent experience 👍 The staff, mostly elderly gentlemen and ladies, were incredibly gentle and polite, always greeting me when I came and went. Highly recommended! This place completely fulfilled my expectations of a traditional Japanese ryokan from movies and anime. Tatami mats, sliding doors, a tea table – it had it all, and the room was very clean and quite spacious. I loved the designated spot for shoes right at the entrance. I think it's a good-sized hot spring inn. The large public bath is alternated between men and women, so I was able to experience both. The family bath was also clean and comfortable. The water was good. It was my first time in Ito, but I was very impressed. I would like to visit again if I have the opportunity.

It's a bit of a walk from ITO station with a suitcase. A taxi is about 800-1000 yen. There's no water cooler or coffee machine. The five onsen are enough for everyone. Breakfast is modest, but the scrambled eggs and sausages are okay.

Amazing ryokan! Located conveniently close to the railway station it blends into local woods with its many small villas and paths. The room was nice and had our own balcony looking out to the woods. There was no lack of amenities, futons were comfortable, AC worked just fine, and the wi-fi connection was probably the best we've encountered in Japan.
We've tried 3 of 9 private baths and all of them...
We just finished a day stay and was not convinced at all. Our tour operator suggested to stay there but in my mind there are much better Ryokan.
If the place gets a face lift , improves the kitchen in a big way and fixes some obvious issues they may go back to be a famous place but I will strongly recommend my friends to avoid at all costs.

Big thanks to all the staff who created such atmosphere
Unbelievably tranquil and wonderful service. The hot springs were amazing to enjoy and trying the traditional food was lovely.
