The rooms were spacious, and private onsen (hot spring bath) was available for free rental. It wasn't far from the train station. The only downside was that check-out time was 10:00 AM. After check-out, both the guest and their luggage had to leave the hotel. There was no luggage storage. Having traveled all over Japan, this was the first time I'd encountered a hotel like this. The owner claimed it...
While the ryokan seemed a bit dated, its cleanliness was excellent, and the view was absolutely stunning. We also appreciated being able to reserve the private open-air bath. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly, making our entire trip a wonderful stay!
The kindness of the owner of hotel was not good.
The owner is very nice. It is rare to have public baths and free private baths. The only downside is that the allergy level in the room doubles during the pollen season. I don't know why.
I love it so much ♥ ♥ ♥ Thank you so much for being so kind to me. I hope you always stay healthy and prosper!
I am satisfied with the overall experience. The hot springs were good and the location was good. The owner was kind. However, you can't stay in the lobby on the first floor after the check-out time. My father, who is not feeling well, was kicked out on a rainy day with three suitcases.
The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and kind, and their English was fluent. The room was spacious and modern, and the entire hotel was very clean. The location was convenient, close to the shopping street, and within walking distance to the lake. Both dinner and breakfast were plentiful, and the private onsen was very comfortable. It was a delightful experience.
A beautiful boutique hotel with truly personalised service. Location is perfect - just a hop from the main shopping street and a short walk to the lake. The dinner is beautifully presented with seemingly like a new-ending flow of different carefully curated dishes. You get 3 shared private onsen. What make it most memorable for me is the out of the way service. A special shout out to Amy. I had a medical...
A perfect onsen ryokan! The location is fantastic, and the experience was incredibly comfortable. The hot springs are top-notch. I loved jogging around Lake Kinrinko in the morning and soaking in the onsen while it was snowing – it was amazing! The facilities are new and high-tech.
Simply love the whole vibes of the ryokan, tucked in a quiet corner yet a stone’s throw away frm the busy shops! Love the private onsen experience and the concierge was just so friendly and helpful.
This is an accident place to spend the quiet couple of days. I enjoyed myself. Unfortunately the kitchen was closed. However the breakfast was good.
This hotel is absolutely beautiful, with a wonderfully relaxing and distinctive design. I felt incredibly comfortable after checking in. The rooms are spacious and bright, and the staff are all very friendly and approachable. The hot springs are also excellent, with both indoor and outdoor options. The hotel's location is super convenient for shopping, making it a quiet oasis in a bustling area. Although...
I was overall satisfied with the ryokan's facilities, hospitality, and food. If you have children, it's a bit of a walk from the center of Yufuin, so it might be a good idea to keep that in mind.
Clean and hygienic, excellent service, and delicious food. However, if you have luggage and a stroller, you'll need to take a taxi as it's not walkable to Yufuin Station.
The staff were very friendly, I was satisfied with both breakfast and dinner, and it was nice to have a private hot spring in the room.
It is a 15-minute walk from the station and the lack of shuttle service is a disadvantage. However, the facilities are good and the water, which is the original function of the hot spring, is good. I would visit again.
The best choice for self-driving tours in Yufuin, private hot springs are comfortable and the price is reasonable
The bathroom was very nice. I was very satisfied with the kaiseki content.
You can choose a bath in the open eye room. Good without need. There are many bathrooms
This place was amazing! Even though our room didn't have a private bath, the family baths were all so beautiful and fantastic. The water was excellent, it was perfect. Both dinner and breakfast provided were superb. We're definitely planning to visit again!
This hotel is a private family hotel in the small town of Yufuin. The hotel is in a good location, with Yufu Mountain behind it. When you get up in the morning, the mist is hazy and very fairy. The hotel is a one-night stay with two meals, and the hot spring private bath is very comfortable. The hotel has a shuttle bus to pick up from the JR station. The hotel has no elevator, but the waiter will help...
We were three people and they put extra bed for us. Great service
Staying here made my trip to Yufuin the best!
This is a place where everything was perfect
I stayed in a room with an open-air bath at Nobirusansou. It had a small room and an open-air bath, and overall it felt like an old ryokan. The hot spring water was blue and very pretty, and the overall kaiseki meal was sufficient and edible. However, it seemed impossible to walk anywhere from the ryokan due to the location, and it was possible to move around comfortably because pick-up delivery was...

We stayed a night at this ryokan with private onsen(our first visit to Yufuin). We booked our Yakiniku dinner and wanted to drive there but were advised by Yamasaki san (the host) that parking would be difficult. He then offered to drop us there and suggest we cab back after our dinner. When we told him that it was cold in the room he promptly brought in additional heater for us. We felt like we were...
It is a quiet and cozy, very clean and friendly hotel.
A beautiful private bath with hot spring water flowing out.
It is a jewel-like space where you can enjoy leisure while looking at the outside scenery. It is a 15-minute walk to the downtown area, so it was a perfect time for food, shopping, and culture.
I recommend it to everyone.
The host is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Communication in English is smooth. Amenities are great and clean. Within 10 mins walk to yufuin floral village, Kinrin Lake, and local supermarket. The host prepared info cards in our room with restaurant recommendations (with info on opening time too) - very thoughtful. Great in-room onsen ♨️ 😌 and Dyson hair dryer is a nice touch too!
We drove here and it was easy to locate. It is near the yufuin floral village area and yet nicely out of the crowd. We love the room and the private onsen. Cleanliness is top notch and the ryokan experience is extremely comfortable and private. The host is friendly and really warm!
All amenities are provided for and everything is nicely prepared!
They even had a list of food recommendation and the...
This was our favorite stay during our 11-day Kyushu tour, and it happened to be on our very first night. The room was spacious, comfortable, and incredibly relaxing, and the private onsen was amazing—we used it both at night and in the morning. The service from the hosts was exceptional. We accidentally left a bag of clothes after check-out, and they had it delivered to our next hotel the same evening...
This is a beautiful accommodation, a spacious room with a private onsen. The staff are wonderful and so helpful. If you drive up, just follow Google maps. The road is narrow and windy, just don't miss any turn. There is a space to park. The bed is comfortable and the pillow was so so comfortable that I had the best sleep!
I had left a small bag of clothes in the room and checked out. Luckily our next...
I recently stayed at a traditional Japanese onsen hotel, and it was an amazing experience. The hotel offers private onsens, which provided an incredible level of privacy and relaxation—perfect for anyone trying onsen for the first time. It was so peaceful and serene, and the entire experience felt like a perfect escape from the stresses of daily life.
The breakfast was simple yet delicious, offering...
Very clean, convenient transportation, rich breakfast, mountain view, very close to Yufu Station, good, but the hot spring does not feel natural
Family hotel, about five rooms, very warm and comfortable, ten minutes walk from the station. We checked in at 4pm and the communication was basically understandable.
It seems like a good place for those who are visiting alone. It was clean and I was satisfied with the price. I will go now~
According to the regulations, check-in is not until 4 pm. Maybe because of the hot weather and because we were walking hard, we were allowed to check in an hour early.
The location is also 5 or 6 minutes walk from the station, which is very convenient. The rooms are all on the second floor. If you bring a big suitcase, it will be a bit hard to move up there.
There is no separate shower in the room...
A traditional Japanese B&B with about four rooms in total, all of which are quite clean. The breakfast is very rich. There are two public bathrooms and toilets in the rooms. It is quite close to the main street and JR station.
Before getting married, my mom and I were looking for a cost-effective ryokan to travel to, and both my mom and I were very satisfied with this place. It was a quiet, country-style place that I would love to visit again. It felt like going to my grandmother's house. Anyway, I had a great time👍🏻
This was the best accommodation I've had so far in Japan. It's a great experience to live in a building that resembles a Japanese house, and there's also a private hot spring that families or couples can use together. I was very tired, but it felt like it was all gone. Be careful because the water temperature is hot. The shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided smell so good that I'm looking into...
It wasn't too far to walk to the tourist attractions, and it was nice that the area was dark and quiet at night! The bedding was soft and warm, so I slept well. ㅎㅎ
The Wi-Fi didn't work, so I recommend downloading movies or dramas!
The owner's grandmother and son were very kind!
The bedroom is ok, amenities are ready. including TV, refrigerator, sink, washbasin thermos It's considered okay for people who have never slept together like in Japan.
Just across the street is an alley with Kirinko and famous Yufuin stores. Because it's at the bottom of the mountain, it's quiet and you can wake up to the sound of birds. If I had some free time, this is where I wanted to take a break for a few days. It's close to the bus stop and there's a Lawson convenience store. I was also able to enjoy the romance of a small open-air hot spring.
The room is a traditional Japanese family villa. The room I booked is on the first floor. There is a private bath in the small courtyard. Those who want to experience a traditional Japanese room can try it. The only drawback is that it takes half an hour to walk from the JR station. In the countryside, you used to have to ask the owner to pick you up, but he said that he didn't rent the house on Ctrip...
It was perfect hot spring experience. Manager was so kind to have a dinner with me outside of hotel that night of visit with two other American and English guys whom were working at that ho spring hotel, also was very kind. Really hope to visit again very soon and hope to see that piggy soon.
Enjoyed the onsen and room is spacious. Woke up to a grand view of Mount Yufu, which was a big bonus.
convenient,great service and nice buffet.
Thw family suite is good enough
and onsen is good !!
The hotel offered good amenities and well-maintained facilities. The service provided by the staff was excellent—friendly, helpful, and responsive. We also really enjoyed the beautiful view, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
The hotel has a great location, and the staff are very friendly. When I reported insects in my room, the staff responded quickly and helped resolve the issue – excellent!
The restaurant offers buffet breakfast and dinner; the food is good, and there's a wide selection of drinks.
Located a convenient 10 minute walk from Yufuin station, Sansuikan is a great option if you're looking to treat yourself for a night. There are free flow snacks and drinks (including alcohol) in the lobby, and the dinner and breakfast are all-you-can-eat buffet style, also with free flow drinks. There are two onsens, M/F on the 1st/2nd floor and they swap service twice daily. Both floors have outdoor...
Conveniently located near the train station. The dinner buffet is excellent but the breakfast is just so so.
The hostel is beautiful. It’s up on the hill, so you have to walk around 30/35 minutes from the train station. There isn’t any convenience store nor restaurant nearby so make sure to bring your own food or ask the owner to make dinner/breakfast for you. There’s an onsen on-site and the showers is also in the onsen, there’s not a private shower. I recommend it, very peaceful
The hostel was very nice and had a cozy charm to it. I also met some very nice people there. There is an Onsen in the hostel, and you can get a satisfying breakfast for around 800 Yen. The owner was very kind and offers evening walks (which I highly recommend) and a ride to the station in the morning. The only downside is that it's an around 30 minutes walk uphill from Floral Village, but the view...
Very hospitable host who picked us up at train station. Delightful home styled dinner n breakfast (extra fees). Host even lead us a night walking tour to see stars. Very countryside vibes for a change. Highly recommend if you are looking for a difference versus hotel stay.
I love this place. Took the Japanese traditional and it was fantastic..I would have lived there..fantastic honsen inside and super common room with beautiful view. A bit far walking from the station but at least you can appreciate the little village.

The hostel is a bit difficult to access by foot if you are coming by public transport. The host brought us out for walks after dinner, with stunning night views of the city. Order breakfast and dinner as their food was delicious. The common space/lounge is perfect to chill, make new friends and read.
