The rooms were spacious, and private onsen (hot spring bath) was available for free rental. It wasn't far from the train station. The only downside was that check-out time was 10:00 AM. After check-out, both the guest and their luggage had to leave the hotel. There was no luggage storage. Having traveled all over Japan, this was the first time I'd encountered a hotel like this. The owner claimed it was a guesthouse, hence the rule.

While the ryokan seemed a bit dated, its cleanliness was excellent, and the view was absolutely stunning. We also appreciated being able to reserve the private open-air bath. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly, making our entire trip a wonderful stay!

The owner is very nice. It is rare to have public baths and free private baths. The only downside is that the allergy level in the room doubles during the pollen season. I don't know why.

I am satisfied with the overall experience. The hot springs were good and the location was good. The owner was kind. However, you can't stay in the lobby on the first floor after the check-out time. My father, who is not feeling well, was kicked out on a rainy day with three suitcases.

The service is good, but the guy was so friendly that it was a burden haha.
Also, the person who used the bathroom an hour ago put a chair in the bathtub, which was a little annoying, but other than that, everything was good.
The breakfast was nice and clean too.

The location is close to the bus terminal and station, and the owner was very friendly, so I left with good memories of Yufuin. The breakfast was also very delicious. Next time I go to Yufuin, I will visit again. Thank you. ^^

On the second day of my trip to Japan, I went from Fukuoka to Yufuin, and the owner of the ryokan was very kind, which was nice.
The location is a 5-minute walk from Yufuin Terminal, so it's close and you can enjoy hot springs, so I recommend it.
