We stayed a night at this ryokan with private onsen(our first visit to Yufuin). We booked our Yakiniku dinner and wanted to drive there but were advised by Yamasaki san (the host) that parking would be difficult. He then offered to drop us there and suggest we cab back after our dinner. When we told him that it was cold in the room he promptly brought in additional heater for us. We felt like we were staying in a friend’s house as Yamasaki san show so much care for his guests. It made our stay so pleasant.

It is a quiet and cozy, very clean and friendly hotel.

A beautiful private bath with hot spring water flowing out.
It is a jewel-like space where you can enjoy leisure while looking at the outside scenery. It is a 15-minute walk to the downtown area, so it was a perfect time for food, shopping, and culture.

I recommend it to everyone.

The host is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Communication in English is smooth. Amenities are great and clean. Within 10 mins walk to yufuin floral village, Kinrin Lake, and local supermarket. The host prepared info cards in our room with restaurant recommendations (with info on opening time too) - very thoughtful. Great in-room onsen ♨️ 😌 and Dyson hair dryer is a nice touch too!

We drove here and it was easy to locate. It is near the yufuin floral village area and yet nicely out of the crowd. We love the room and the private onsen. Cleanliness is top notch and the ryokan experience is extremely comfortable and private. The host is friendly and really warm!
All amenities are provided for and everything is nicely prepared!

They even had a list of food recommendation and the locations exceeded my expectations.

I would totally come back again if i choose ro stay overnight here!

This was our favorite stay during our 11-day Kyushu tour, and it happened to be on our very first night. The room was spacious, comfortable, and incredibly relaxing, and the private onsen was amazing—we used it both at night and in the morning. The service from the hosts was exceptional. We accidentally left a bag of clothes after check-out, and they had it delivered to our next hotel the same evening! We’re so grateful to the person who drove up and down the mountain in the dark to bring it to us—it was a 30-minute drive away. Apologies for the inconvenience! Overall, it was an unforgettable stay, and we’ll definitely return.

This is a beautiful accommodation, a spacious room with a private onsen. The staff are wonderful and so helpful. If you drive up, just follow Google maps. The road is narrow and windy, just don't miss any turn. There is a space to park. The bed is comfortable and the pillow was so so comfortable that I had the best sleep!
I had left a small bag of clothes in the room and checked out. Luckily our next stop was 30min away. The very lovely staff were so kind to send my clothes over to the hotel that I was staying at. Best service ever. Highly recommend this accommodation. 🙌

The cleanliness and exquisite details of the garden's craftsmanship were superb, akin to a masterpiece created by a skilled artist.

The customer service was exceptional. Mr. Yamasaki, the hotel manager, warmly greeted us and ensured a seamless check-in experience.

The tranquility of the area and the hotel itself truly helped to relax the mind.

I would highly recommend this place if you're looking for a serene getaway to rejuvenate both mind and body.
