Higashiizu, 1604-1 Inatori, 413-0411 Higashiizu Town, Kamo District, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan 🧭 Map
I stayed in a room with an open-air bath!
The location was great, and the complimentary drinks and snacks were plentiful, which I really appreciated. ^_^
The dinner course was quite generous, with plenty of fish.
The foreign staff were very helpful in introducing me to the dishes.
The hotel is smaller than expected, the hotel staff is very polite, and the hygiene is very clean You have to take off your shoes before entering the hotel. But in terms of hot springs really 10 points disappointed one of the view hot springs under decoration, and men's and women's hot springs will be reversed every day, one of the hot springs is no minerals just hot water, but the hot springs in the...
The hotel is under renovation, so one of the rooftop baths is closed. We went specifically for the rooftop bath, but were very disappointed.
Room 312 had insect bites; after one night, my thighs had many red spots.
Dinner and breakfast were plentiful.
However, overall, the price-performance ratio was not high.
This was my first solo trip to Japan, and it was a spontaneous decision. Due to my procrastination, I only started booking accommodations two days in advance. Hotels near Izu Kogen and Atami were all booked, so I booked this place. But once I arrived, I felt incredibly comfortable. The hotel is in a very quiet location with beautiful scenery. The hotel facilities are also very new, and the staff are...
The hotel upgraded me to a higher level room. The hotel was going to be completely upgraded and renovated the next day. I didn't try out other hotel services, such as breakfast, dinner, and hot springs. I think the room was just okay, not bad.
Overall, the hotel is good. The hotel has a shuttle bus. Although time is limited, it is not far to walk from Inatori Station to the hotel without luggage. The hotel breakfast is very rich, but I didn't experience the kaiseki dinner. The beach at the entrance of the hotel is very suitable for children and can be played all day.

Traditional onsen hotel with nice sea view, facilities are a bit dated, in-room hot water only came out after opening of tap for about 15 minutes. Quite spacious room, Carpark is also available for guest
The place was clean and tidy, the room was very spacious, and the private toilet and shower were fully equipped. The service was friendly, and I would definitely stay here again next time.
The price was 22,000 yen per person in the middle class. Thank you for taking care of us with an overnight stay on Saturday and Sunday in a single room for two. The room was old-fashioned, with views of the sea (Inatori Port), and most importantly, each room had an open-air bath. The sea-view bath was the best. The large communal bath and the open-air bath on the roof were also good. Dinner was also...
This is an old hot springs inn, but there are six free family baths, and the hot springs are gentle and very pleasant. Dinner was a half-bikini with live cooking. All of them were delicious, but the slow-cooked Kinmedai was exceptional.
Had a very enjoyable and relaxing weekend here. The staff doesn't speak much English except for one employee but they made sure we had most of the information about the hotel that we needed. Unfortunately due to Covid we weren't allowed to use the hot springs but we still enjoyed our stay very much. Even though some of the usual hotel amenities weren't offered we knew that going in that it was going...

The positive review is for Ctrip, because I couldn't stay at other hotels and was able to change to this one for free. If I had stayed at the original price, the value for money would have been extremely low. The view from the standard room wasn't great; I had to pay to upgrade to a suite to make it slightly better. The service from the lobby manager to the waiters and drivers was poor. The food was...
This is a Japanese-style hotel that's not very conveniently located, but it's well-equipped, comfortable, and spacious with a private onsen. Dinner is very luxurious, and breakfast is plentiful. The hotel is located in a quiet area with a stretch of seaside road nearby.
To be honest, it wasn't as amazing as I'd heard. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant, and the food was just average. Having dinner in the room was one thing, but having breakfast in the room was another. They even knocked on the door to collect the bed before 8 am! I was so annoyed.
The room was great, but it was cloudy that day, which affected the beautiful view. The food was fresh and the quantity was large, so I was very full. The private hot spring was also great, so be sure to make an appointment in advance.
Very good stay experience, the sunrise in the morning must be seen. The hotel service is first-class, just short of feeding you. The breakfast is very rich, it is the breakfast with the most variety I have ever eaten in my life. The oranges in the lobby on the 8th floor are also delicious, it seems that there is no such orange in China
It's really a perfect hotel to stay in! Whether it's the scenery, service, or breakfast and dinner, they are all amazing. The hotel's one-time hot spring reservation for each person is also facing the sea! This choice deserves 100 likes

Great amenities and large public bath. Nice tea area in the room with ocean view. Also comes with a lot of free services including drinks at the lounge and free bowling at the nearby building. Got into a bit of a situation of not being able to have dinner since the only single non-reservation restaurant was completely full but the staff helped us make a last-minute reservation. No complaints overall
The service here was actually problematic for a hot spring inn. They didn't even make up the futon beds for us. I had to call and ask them to, and even then, they didn't do it. They just opened the closet where the futons were stored, basically implying I should make the bed myself. The facilities are a bit old, but the location and views are great, and breakfast was good. Dinner was a bit simple....
The hotel was kind enough to let us move our dates. The trip was very relaxing, the food was more than what we expected for a breakfast buffet. The sights were stunning, I would urge everyone to book the private onsen for sure! There is a free shuttle bus going to and from the station so it is very convenient for foreigners.
It was a very nice stay at the hotel, location is convientent. Close to the tourist spots
Hope to be back next year! Nice place to Relax!
The place is amazing. Really like the room, big space with good Japanese tatami decorations.
Food was amazing and you must really book with the dinner option. The food was great with thoughtful menu. Good vibe !

It's a 45-minute bus ride from Ito Station. Located on a plateau, it's much cooler than Ito city. The hot springs include a large public bath, sauna, and mist sauna. There is no open-air bath. The building is old, but the whole place has been well-maintained and doesn't feel dated. Although it's located deep in the mountains, the high level of food and service has been maintained, which is a testament...

The hotel is located near Izu Station in Takahara and offers a shuttle service, but advance notice is required. The hotel's management, environment, service quality, and dining are all commensurate with the room rate. The service, in particular, is exceptionally high; the male Japanese staff and female ********* staff at the front desk were incredibly attentive and helpful! They left a deep impression...
The room was spacious and the hot spring was very comfortable; the complimentary socks were a nice touch. Both the French and Japanese cuisine became more refined each day. The 24-hour complimentary Häagen-Dazs ice cream was also a big plus.
Aside from the room, the service was excellent, especially in the restaurant. One of the staff members was a fantastic auntie who spoke good English and explained each dish meticulously and enthusiastically. The chef was great, skillfully using fresh local ingredients, had excellent taste, and presented the food beautifully. Most importantly, he was loving; he even adjusted the menu for my child, replacing...
Very satisfied with the room, it was huge! All the toiletries were Bulgari, and the service was excellent. However, soaking in the outdoor hot spring in the summer was basically just feeding the mosquitoes. The kaiseki dinner was a bit mediocre, a little disappointing.
Very good. There is a lady at the front desk who speaks Chinese. She is very considerate. The French and Japanese food are delicious.
I stayed on the first floor, and I could actually see little squirrels through the glass. The hotel is generally good, and there is unlimited ice cream. The only downside is that dinner took too long, about 2 hours.

"We had an absolutely amazing stay and only wish we had booked for longer! This ryokan is a true gem in Japan and easily the best place we have ever stayed. The highlight, however, was the staff; they are an amazing, lovely team who made us feel so welcome. Also, the...
Izunohana was my first luxury hot spring inn, and I was completely satisfied! I'd love to return as a treat.

I stayed at Tsubaki on January 13th. It was a detached room, but it was new, clean, and comfortable. There are stairs to get to and from meals, so please be careful if you have weak legs.

I stayed in the Shobu room for two days and one night, starting on November 20th.
First of all, the food was outstanding; both dinner and breakfast were by far the best I've had at any ryokan I've ever had.
The alfonsino shabu-shabu for dinner was already satisfying, but the next day they served me a simmered dish using the same alfonsino head as the shabu-shabu, so the mealtimes continued to be...
November 2nd - 3rd, Cosmos, 2 people
Located in a quiet location about a 15-minute drive from Izukogen Station.
Stepping inside, you're greeted by the rustling bamboo grove and the pleasant sounds of birdsong, creating a special space that makes you forget your daily routine.
・Accommodation/Hospitality
We stayed in the detached "Cosmos," located down a stone-paved staircase from the entrance....
Authentic onsen experience you can enjoy in Japan. Despite the language barrier and remoteness of the location, their staff are welcoming and warm, food is excellent and fresh, definitely love it.
The seafood sashimi portion was a little small, but the meal was satisfying.
The stairs from the parking lot to the front room were difficult for me, as I have bad knees.

Ambiance: Very good. Hygiene: The room's AC had a strange smell. Service: Typical Japanese coldness. Breakfast: Lots of variety, and the taste was decent. I recommend sitting by the window. Dinner: Different every day. Facilities: Good, especially the onsen (hot spring), which was excellent.
Overall, it's pretty good. I'd stay here again next time I visit.
The hotel offers a shuttle service from Izu Kogen Station, but it's infrequent.
To catch it: After exiting Izu Kogen Station, turn right and walk to the bus stop. The parking lot next to it is where you'll find the shuttle. Staff will confirm your reservation name, help with your luggage, and offer a refreshing cold towel – very thoughtful...
The room was spacious with a great sea view. Unfortunately, it rained on our check-in day, so we couldn't see anything. But everything was beautiful the next day. The hotel lobby offers complimentary coffee, drinks, and alcohol, and just sitting there enjoying the view was enough to lift my spirits.
Although there was a miscommunication between Trip.com and the hotel during the initial booking process, which resulted in not being able to upgrade to the desired meal plan, the hotel front desk staff went above and beyond to resolve the issue. They provided a lot of help and convenience throughout my entire stay, and the management was very accommodating. Highly recommended! The hotel is a 10-minute...
The room size is decent, and the sea view is quite good. There are a few lounge chairs outside the lobby, and the lobby offers complimentary drinks and alcohol. Dan Dan noodles are served from 9 PM and the variety changes monthly. The shuttle buses are infrequent. A Didi ride to Mount Omuro cost me 107 RMB, and from Kadokake Suspension Bridge back to the hotel was around 70 RMB.
The hotel's location is excellent, very convenient for visiting the scenic spots.

The room is large and the environment is good
Since there are many green forests in the mountains, there are more bugs. There are only public bathrooms, no private toilets. You need to pay Smecta tax for bathing. It takes 30 minutes to walk up the mountain after getting off the station, which is tiring.
The attentiveness of its staff, the quiet environment, and the room was spacious.

The hotel's overall environment is good, with both outdoor and indoor hot springs. However, a female receptionist at the front desk saw us discussing in Chinese and rolled her eyes and shook her head at another colleague.
We got caught in a snowstorm in Izu, which brought traffic to a standstill. The staff personally drove us to the train station, in two separate trips, for which we are incredibly grateful. Breakfast and dinner were excellent with a great variety of food. The room was clean and tidy. We had a really good experience! The hotel even has ping-pong and billiards tables, plus KTV. We'll definitely choose this place again next time we're in Izu.
The hotel offers a shuttle service, and both the environment and rooms are excellent. Although the hotel has been around for a while, it's very well-maintained. The hot spring and swimming pool are great too. It's very close to Mount Omuro, just a short taxi ride away, and from Mount Omuro, you can catch a bus to the coast.

The location was great and it was very relaxing
Thank you for the wonderful time ♡
Both the open-air bath in the room and the private bath were very comfortable and healed!
I was told that it was built by renovating an old private house, so I felt it was very tasteful.
I think there were other guests, but the room had an open-air bath, and breakfast and dinner were served in private rooms, so I was able to spend a relaxing time.

There are only a few rooms, so there is a strong sense of privacy.
The hospitality of the staff and the food were very nice. The bath in the room was also very relaxing.
There were places where I could feel the oldness of the facility, but it was also a good atmosphere.
It has become an inn that I can't help but want to be taken care of again.
My boyfriend and I went on my birthday trip in March. The food, customer service, rooms, and hot springs are all top notch. As a 100-year-old old private house has been renovated, it is a wonderful room with a deep taste in the structure and rooms, and a harmonious interior imported from Europe. The best part was the open-air bath on the spacious wooden deck. A cute squirrel will also climb up ^ ^...
A hidden inn surrounded by nature. The room was clean and the open-air bath while listening to the chirping of birds was the best. All the dishes are very satisfying and the amount is sufficient. In addition, the room service and customer service were solid, and it was a wonderful inn with a perfect score in everything. Don't miss the Jogasaki coast. I want to go again.
This place is awesome. The food was great and the ambiance was soothing. We especially liked the noise of the birds, and watching the squirrels jump tree to tree from the private onsen in the room. Its a small hotel but we never saw any of the other guest. Very private.

From welcoming us to seeing us off, we were treated with great care and consideration, which was very helpful.
The food was delicious and we were very satisfied, and the hot water in the private open-air bath and the open-air bath in our guest room was also very pleasant and relaxing.
We stayed at Shizuka on January 3rd and 4th.
Although the location is a little hard to find, the relaxing and quiet atmosphere and delicious food made for a truly relaxing getaway. I was also surprised to encounter wild squirrels on the terrace of my room and in the open-air bath.
We had a very relaxing overnight stay with a amazing kaiseki dinner ,great service & hospitality and an even greater night & breakfast. My partner and I will recommend this Ryokan to all our travelling friends. I just wished I could speak the language and I hope we were both good guests.
The environment is beyond imagination. The quiet Japanese-style room is very comfortable. I like this tatami-style hot spring. It is also my favorite private hot spring. You can soak in the hot spring with a suitable temperature and you can see the outdoor mountain view. The meals are also Japanese-style and the service is super enthusiastic. Thumbs up for being picked up and dropped off by hotel staff...
We received courteous service from arrival to departure. Being in a separate building, the chances of encountering other guests are low.

I highly recommend this onsen ryokan! Among traditional Japanese hot spring hotels, its facilities are quite new. The garden environment is beautiful and the service is superb! The food might not look like a huge portion at first glance, but there are many dishes and it's definitely filling and delicious. The wasabi-themed dishes are especially unique.
This was the hotel we were most looking forward to in Izu. The day we arrived, a young man from the entrance ran over to help us with our luggage from a distance.
