Hot spring is nice and the restaurant is good

Staying at Komenoi is a great choice when visiting Mount Omuro. A taxi ride costs 2500 JPY, and it's 1600 JPY to Jogasaki Coast. The hotel has an onsen (hot spring bath) and a snack and drink bar for guests to enjoy. They also offer a shuttle service to and from Izu-Kogen Station. I'll definitely choose Komenoi again next time I come to see Mount Omuro with its matcha-like greenery.

Izu Kannon Onsen: The decor is modern, and the lobby has a self-service water bar with aesthetically pleasing coffee and fruit wine. The lobby directly faces the hotel's most stunning view, with an infinity pool reflecting the blue sky and white clouds, and the clear blue sea not far beyond, with faint glimpses of distant islands. The restaurant is on the third floor, offering sea views just like the lobby. They provide a two-meal plan (dinner and breakfast). The Kaiseki dinner was exquisite and delicious, leaving us very full. Breakfast is a buffet, a mix of Japanese and Western styles, leaning more towards Japanese, and also very tasty. Our room was a Japanese-Western style, quite spacious with a separate wet and dry area, making for a very comfortable stay. There's no private onsen; the public bath is on the basement level. Yukata are provided in the room. Additionally, the hotel offers late-night Dan Dan noodles.

The hotel's location is superb, with a beautiful view of the ocean and sunset right before your eyes. The all-day complimentary self-service drinks are fantastic. You can relax by the terrace pool, sipping and chatting. Breakfast is very substantial. The desserts and drinks made from local apples are fresh and delicious.

The only downside is that the hotel is located on a hillside. Definitely do not get off at Jogasaki-Kaigan Station if you have luggage. You'll question your life choices dragging your bags up that hill.

It’s a modern style onsen hotel. There’s a great view from its lobby, having a drink there was very chill and relaxing. The dinner and breakfast were nice. Onsen was clean.

Absolutely five stars!!! Excellent service and amazing pool side view. Both dinner and breakfast are perfect!! They provide shuttle buses but the timing is not good for me. It’s only around 10 minutes walk from nearest station. So the location is not a big problem for me.
