Hotels with pool in Toba

The hotel was conveniently located close to the ferry terminal, and the views were absolutely stunning! They had three different baths, and the food was delicious too!! For dinner, the Matsusaka beef Ise Udon was a highlight, and in the morning, the white miso soup with mekabu was so tasty!! I also bought some of the delicious nori tsukudani (seaweed paste) that was served at breakfast from their souvenir...

The hotel offers exceptionally clean rooms and very attentive service. The dining was also excellent, with both dinner and breakfast served buffet style, offering a wide variety of food

I was incredibly lucky to snag a room for my last-minute reservation, especially since it was right before a three-day weekend! This was my first time visiting Toba, and I traveled by car ferry

There were also many communal areas and activity facilities for guests to enjoy. This hotel provides great value for money and will definitely be my top choice when I visit Toba again

However, some dishes were a bit cold, and I suggest the hotel improve their heating equipment. The three distinct bathhouses were all very clean and well-equipped

Great location and the facilities were top-notch! The staff and service were wonderful. I'd definitely love to go back again.

Both dinner and breakfast are buffets, especially the dinner buffet, which is fantastic—you can eat your fill with everything you can find, and the food is quite delicious. Breakfast, however, is a bit less impressive

I stayed here with my American in-laws when they were visiting us from USA. They have some private baths, so people who are not used to this hot spring culture in Japan can feel comfortable

The location is superb; it's just a short walk from Toba Station, across the street. The hotel is huge, so just find your building

Check-in is very welcoming; they write the names of guests checking in that day on the hotel entrance

The hotel was conveniently located right across from a train station. The staff were friendly and helpful. The facility was a bit worn, and the room was small and could use some updates

However, it served its purpose for a one-night stay

The staff are very good, the onsen is really relaxing with a great view, the room with a private bath we got was really worth it, the pool and jacuzzis are nice, and the food we had was great

Wow and wow, this hotel overlooking the ocean was amazing. The staff while some were limited in English were very accommodating. I decided on tradition Japanese meals for breakfast and dinner and they didn’t disappoint

The view from the restaurant was breathtaking when I did the 7am breakfast (I could see the sun rise) it really made me think “this is the land of the rising sun”

Dinner was a 5 course mean bought out to you in a well paced way. Very high end and luxurious feeling. The onsen especially the open air area was very relaxing talk about melt the travel away from my bones

The photos are exactly the same as the actual situation. The hotel is a bit old but very clean and hygienic. The room has a personal hot spring which is very nice. The breakfast is also very delicious

Our room, complete with an open-air bath, allowed us to truly relax and forget about our daily lives. The water temperature and the view were wonderful, making our stay a great pleasure

The hotel is in a very good location, close to the bus stop, and only a few steps to the beach. They have free shuttle bus from the hotel to Toba station at 9. The staff are accommodating and some speak some English

If you would like to have breakfast and dinner at a hotel please inform them when you make booking or a few days in advance. People are very nice but language can be a barrier

If you are planning a trip here make sure you stock up snacks from the convenient stores because there are no 7-11, Lawson, or any Family Mart within walking distance

The area is very beautiful and peaceful but very local

Although the building and room were a little dated, the space was generous, with western beds, a tatami area, a separate spacious toilet, and a lovely hill view with a glimpse of the ocean

The private bath was simple, but the public baths on the top floor made up for it. Dinner was the highlight: a satisfying kaiseki meal with sashimi, sea bream, grilled lobsters, and more

Located about five minutes by free shuttle from Toba Station (limited hours), the service was outstanding—from luggage assistance at pick-up to delivery straight to our room

5-hour local train journey from Osaka, the experience was well worth it

Our stay at Senpokaku Toba was a memorable one-night ryokan experience

However, you have to fill it yourself and wait for it to heat up, so I didn't end up using it in the room because it was too cold. There are also public indoor and outdoor baths

I was surprised and impressed by the service provided, which exceeded my expectations, and I'm glad I chose this hotel. I felt that the people working at the hotel take pride in being first-class hosts

The hotel is clean and very good. The food is also delicious, and the staff are very friendly.

True to its five-star rating, the service was attentive and the facilities were comfortable. The breakfast was lavish, and the dining environment was elegant. The Pearl hot spring was a unique highlight

The Harbor rooms offer beautiful sunrise views every morning, and the hot spring, with its unique pearl powder, is quite special

Not many choices for breakfast, a bit walking distance to onsen. Room is quite large and good atmosphere

The Toba International Hotel, where even the Emperor has stayed. The taxi driver said it was the best hotel in Toba, and I was very satisfied with the spacious and clean rooms

Pets are a priority, so I was able to bring my dog with me without any worries, and there were dog runs outdoors, on the rooftop, and indoors, as well as a pool, which was nice

It was located near the tourist spots we wanted to visit, such as Ise Grand Shrine and Yokoyama Observatory, and we could stay there as a family, including our dog, so it was a really great inn! Also, the staff at the inn were very kind to us, and also to our dog, which we were very grateful for!

🐶 Everyone at the front desk and in the dining area was very kind, and I would definitely like to come back again. If I could ask for one more thing, it would be perfect if there was a private bath 😃🛀♨️ 🐶

The front desk staff explained everything very carefully, which put me at ease. Unfortunately, it was raining, so we couldn't play in the outdoor dog run, but we played in the indoor one

Dinner was delicious, with sashimi and Matsusaka beef yakiniku (grilled meat) 🤩 We ordered a Matsusaka beef dog burger for our dog, Maru-kun, and he happily ate it

🐶 I went to the indoor dog run, which was mentioned in reviews as having two air purifiers running and a strong smell, but it was perfectly fine

I'm also very grateful for the staff's attentive service. The food was also excellent, and we have fond memories of this stay. I would like to stay here again

The hot spring and breakfast are great. When I arrive the hotel that night, the restaurants of the hotel were full. The staff are very helpful and bring me to the nearby restaurant

A perfect resort hotel, right next to a beach with a great sandy beach and top-notch food. Hotel guests can also reserve a private hot spring bath for free

The advantage of being remote is that it's less crowded; if you're used to Kyoto and Tokyo, this is a real vacation experience

However, it's quite remote, so if you're not driving, I recommend taking the hotel's shuttle bus to and from Toba

(仁海大眾酒埸）Sanawa tataki and soba were great

Staff took great care of us and had an eye for detail for all aspects of our stay. They helped us with all dinner and lunch challenges we faced during a time of low-Season and many closed restaurants

But after communicating with the hotel, they still arranged a car to pick us up at Toba Station. The hot springs and the breakfast added after check-in were amazing

Definitely the most charming staff and Onsen experience we have had so far in Japan. It was a true Japanese experience, and we had a wonderful stay with a baby and a 4-year old

Only thing for me as a foreigner, I had no possibility to contact the hotel beforehand for a pick up shuttle so just make sure you find a way early to reach out :)

Very amazing Japanese style hot spring hotel. On the day of check-in, there were very few people staying, probably because it was close to the Japanese New Year

The staff was good, the room was okay, clean, the view was good, the parking was convenient, the onsen was good, both indoor and outdoor, but the floor was very slippery, both in the pool and on the walkway to the bath

Decided to call the hotel just to try our luck, and to our surprise, they immediately dispatched a private car to pick us up! Service was absolutely impeccable! 💯 The hotel's absolute standout feature has to be its hot springs! ♨️ Especially the unique Pearl Onsen – the only one in Japan infused with Mikimoto pearl powder

Toba International Hotel Shiojitei was an absolute highlight of our trip. The exceptional service truly stood out, embodying the Japanese spirit of 'omotenashi' from start to finish

This began with the shuttle pick-up from Toba Station, followed by detailed guidance during check-in, and enthusiastic explanations of each dish in the restaurant – every interaction was flawless

The hotel facilities are well-maintained, with both the guest rooms and the onsen area (the Pearl Onsen left our skin sparkling!) being spotlessly clean

Overall, it has no obvious weaknesses; the service, dining, and ambiance harmonized perfectly to provide the best hotel experience of our trip

My skin felt incredibly soft and glowed after soaking. (A glass of milk after the onsen is a must – incredibly refreshing! *Personally, I prefer the fruit-flavored one

I am very satisfied with my decision. Facing the sea, spring flowers are blooming. The biggest surprise is the hotel's dinner buffet. Only when you visit in person will you know how good value for money it is! ! !

The view from the room and onsen were incredible. The massage chairs and ice cream vending machines were a great end to the eventful day at this awesome resort

The onsen water comes from sakakibara, which felt great on skin. Buffet dinner and breakfast had a great spread, nothing extraordinary about the food though

Like it very much! ! It can be seen that it is a popular local resort hot spring hotel

This is very good value for money! My favorite onsen hotel in Japan!

I also soaked in the hot springs in the evening and in the morning

The broth is absolutely amazing. I wish they offered udon noodles or porridge instead. It's a bit different from other ryokan kaiseki options

We've spent a night in a room with private onsen. We also had the chance to enjoy some high class kaiseki dinner and breakfast. Both of them were absolutely fantastic

The location is a bit tricky, but having a car is a great option! The indoor hot spring bath and open-air bath are both quite nice

There was no guidance to the room or greetings from the room attendant as a countermeasure against corona infection, but I thought it was unavoidable due to the circumstances, so I didn't pay much attention to it

Since they switch between the men's and women's baths daily, I was able to experience both. The dinner kaiseki here is truly exceptional. Using Ise shrimp, you can enjoy a nabe-style shabu-shabu

(There was a welcome service of matcha and sweets) The room felt a little old, but it was clean and beautiful, and the view was good, and I was able to see the sea

Plus a mini bbq to cook beef your beef in. They’re breakfast buffet was also delicious - they had miso lobster soup! Only con for this place is the hotel is a little dated

The location is fantastic, as it's on a hill. The staff were all very friendly. The breakfast buffet was also delicious. I'd definitely like to go again. Thank you.

From check-in to check-out, the staff were very polite and I had a very pleasant stay. The view was amazing, and I was really impressed by the panoramic view of the Ise-Shima Sea

I would like to stay here again if I have the opportunity. The experience of feeding the local black kites was also a lot of fun

I forgot to mention you can field eagles at 7:10-7:15am for 5 mins. It’s intense and the eagles do swoop down

It's a little far from Toba, but it's just a short distance off Pearl Road and is easily accessible by car

The food was so varied and elaborate that I couldn't finish it all. It was a beautifully presented meal. The staff were all friendly and efficient

The appetizers were served according to the eating situation, and the explanation of the dishes was also good. We also had live abalone, which we enjoyed

There were both outdoor and indoor baths, which left my skin feeling silky smooth. Even after returning to my room, my body was still warm

From the room, we could see Toba Bay. It was the rainy season in the morning, but we could see the sunrise through the clouds

We were picked up from Toba Station to the hotel and headed to Ise Shrine, which was a very satisfying trip

The room had a calm atmosphere, just as it said on the website, and the view from the window was great

There are small dried fish, minced meat, pickled mustard greens, pickled mustard, etc. , and lunch every day is solved by these rice balls. The room was upgraded to a room with a private bathroom for me

Kaigetsu is a ryokan run by Kiku Ezaki and her family since 1887. She is an Ama diver and well known in Toba

At checkout obachan even gave us onigiri! ごちそうさまでした! お祖母ちゃんお元気で We sat at Shiroyama Park bench overlooking the sea and islands, with ships and trains passing by, and the Toba castle ruins behind us, Toba is truly amazing! With the warmth of Japanese countryside hospitality we departed Toba on the Mijumaru Liner with heavy hearts and a pledge to return

She also operates an ecotourism company - Kaito Yumin club just next to the ryokan which offers tours like kayaking in the sea, and advocating for ama divers

The location of Kaigetsu is amazing, only a short walk away from Toba station, Toba Castle, Mikimoto Pearl Island, historical sites like Irako Seihaku's house and the beautiful monument of Prof

Kiku's mum checked us in that night, she was very friendly! She told us that there were other Malaysian guests who checked in that day too, what a surprise haha

It also came with a boat-shaped sashimi platter and spiny lobster, and the inn staff carefully checked the doneness of the oysters and shark sauce when I placed them on the grill. The charcoal-grilled food is amazing

Breakfast also included spiny lobster in the miso soup, and the tamagoyaki (rolled omelet) and grilled fish were also delicious, making for a great meal. The room was clean and had a large unit bath

The room was clean for a guesthouse, and there was a tray in the room, so I was able to stay comfortably. I usually get back pain from the futon at guesthouses, but this time I slept soundly

I searched online for an oyster trip, and it turned out to be a great experience. We added a boat-shaped oyster platter, and the sashimi was delicious, as were the other dishes

There are only vending machines in the inn, so if I needed anything, I thought I could buy something at a convenience store before checking in and relaxing in my room

The grilled seafood in the evenings was incredibly fresh and memorable, and the breakfasts were also delicious and generously portioned, leaving us very satisfied
