The rock bath was absolutely amazing!

The location is superb; it's just a short walk from Toba Station, across the street. The hotel is huge, so just find your building. Both dinner and breakfast are buffets, especially the dinner buffet, which is fantastic—you can eat your fill with everything you can find, and the food is quite delicious. Breakfast, however, is a bit less impressive.

Check-in is very welcoming; they write the names of guests checking in that day on the hotel entrance.

The hotel was conveniently located right across from a train station. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine. The facility was a bit worn, and the room was small and could use some updates. However, it served its purpose for a one-night stay.

The hotel is too old, the rooms smelled musty, the facilities were outdated, and it wasn't good value for money.

The hotel is very overpriced for an old facility. We booked an oceanview room but the windows are blocked with bars and can barely be opened. Our room on the second floor could barely see the ocean. Furniture and decoration scream OLD.
Most front desk workers are not Japanese. They claim to have an "international crew" but the problem is they don't know much about Japan. When we asked the doorman about taking trains, he didn't have a crew because he just got to Japan from another Asian country. On the other hand, the restaurants only have Japanese workers and no one speaks English. We booked an 8-course dinner. The chef was going around to explain the dishes to guests but just left us when he found out we don't speak Japanese. The menu is in Japanese only.
This hotel also charged us at 135:1 foreign exchange rate while all other hotels charged 142-144:1 JPY-USD. It's not a foreigner friendly hotel and way overpriced for what it is.

Dinner and breakfast were buffet style but they were delicious. If I have the chance, I would like to stay for several nights.

Facilities: An old hotel, very large, the room is clean, and the bed is comfortable; the hotel has many hot springs, including a public hot spring, several private hot springs (really very small and dark), foot baths, etc. in the hot spring village, which has a good atmosphere. I personally like the public hot springs; there is a welcome sign at the door when I first arrived at the hotel.
Meals: Breakfast and dinner are buffets, with seats for sea views, the taste is OK, and there is a fish dismemberment show at a fixed time.

Service: Generally good, quite enthusiastic and patient.

Hot springs♨️: The hot springs are relatively large, with relatively more pools, both public and private, which is a highlight of the hotel.
Food: Breakfast and dinner are buffet style, although not as high-end as kaiseki cuisine, but the taste is very good.
Location: It is a five-minute walk from Toba Station and a ten-minute walk from Pearl Island and the aquarium, which is very convenient.

I only went to Mi because I wanted to ride Shimakaze. I couldn't kill time at Toba Aquarium alone, so I decided to rush to the hot springs. Todd's family had been worried about this for a long time, but they answered the phone politely and brought me a large bag for my folding umbrella, which was soaked in the rain. Thanks for your polite guidance. A coupon for a great day trip to the hot springs and a towel are included in the 1000 yen price. I especially liked the landscape of the open-air bath and the children liked it. Also, when I went nearby, it was a memorable hot spring that I wanted to visit.
