Breakfast was included, but the grilled flounder was small and I wish it had been a little bigger. However, I still had coffee after the meal before leaving.
The food (breakfast) and service were both excellent, and I plan to return next month.
Friendly and clean accommodations, close to the station. They also helped me call taxis. Breakfast was simple but excellent. Thank you.
The hotel is reasonably priced, though the toilet threshold is a bit high, so elderly people should be wary, while younger people are more vulnerable.
The location is convenient, the rooms have all the amenities you need, and free parking is available.
This time, I couldn't get time off and only stayed one night, but it was very convenient as it was close to the station.
I'd like to use it again.
This was my first time staying at the hotel, so it was much better than I expected. There are many shops around the hotel! I didn't feel inconvenienced.

My group of four friends had a very good stay at this hotel. It is very well maintained, located in a great location and provides great service. I previously stayed here with my family in end 2024. It is still as good.
good place for rest, private onsen so awesome.
The service was very attentive, but it's a shame that the hot spring facilities are old and lack a view.
Although the hotel isn't right in the heart of Kinosaki Onsen, the town is small, so getting around is easy and convenient for visiting the seven public onsens. Don't forget to get your stamp at each one and collect a small gift back at the hotel! The hotel also has its own hot spring bath, it's not huge, but it's usually quiet as most guests go to the seven public onsens. Guests can enjoy a private...
Awesome hospitality :) nice hotel overall :) wanna come back!!
The hotel staff and service were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the facilities were excellent. I stayed in a nostalgic tatami-style room, and the hotel even made up the futon for me in advance.
On the first floor, there's a hot spring available for guests. The hotel also provides a complete yukata set and an onsen all-access pass, allowing you to visit the famous seven hot springs nearby....

The facility and Trip.com were very accommodating when we changed our schedule.
We were given a welcome drink, and we were able to take it back to our room.
My mother was also very satisfied with the food, and it was a very satisfying trip.
Thank you very much.
I stayed in a twin room on the third floor facing the ocean on October 8th. The room was spacious enough, and the two high-back chairs were very comfortable. It was my first time to experience a table that doubled as an air purifier. To get to the hot spring bath on the first floor, you take the elevator dedicated to the hot spring. Meals were served in the restaurant on the first floor. Dinner was...
The facilities are nice, but as expected, they are typical of a vacation village, and there's no sense of luxury. However, the location is excellent, and the ocean can be viewed from the lobby, rooms, and baths, which is very pleasant. Meals are served buffet-style in the dining room, and there's always people walking around, making it difficult to relax and enjoy your meal. The breakfast buffet menu...
Located on a small hill, the view of the coast from our room was spectacular, allowing us to relax and forget our daily fatigue. The view from the large public bath was even more spectacular. While the open-air bath wasn't particularly large, the spaciousness and the view of the coast beyond the trees were truly soothing. Since we stayed in November, when the Matsuba crab season begins, we splurged...
I stay here twice a year, and I get bitten by mites almost every time. The food, location, and service are all good, but it bothers me. This time, I was bitten in over 30 places, including my hands and stomach. (The sheets and duvet covers are well-starched and look clean, though.) I recommend bringing sheets and towels from home. Maybe they haven't dried their futons in the sun since they opened.
I used the "live squid dance" course. First of all, I think that people with bad legs should check in early. The parking lot in front of the building will be full soon, and you will have to use the stairs from the first parking lot. The Japanese-style room is large and it is hard to say that it is beautiful, but the view from the room is very good. In addition to free WiFi, there are cables that can...

Hotel Kinparo is indeed the star of this trip. Location is a little far from Kinosaki Onsen and knowing a little Japanese when u contact the hotel will be great. They can arrange to pick u up from JR Kinosakionsen station.

The staff were very polite and I enjoyed my stay.
The hotel was a little far from the center, but the shuttle service was well managed and I had no problems.
The room was clean and the view was better than expected, and the indoor bath was spacious and relaxing.
We were served a wide variety of dishes made with seasonal ingredients, which were not only delicious but also visually pleasing, so overall...
The three sisters went back to Kinparo after 20 years. The emotions they felt before came back to life, and they recalled their memories vividly, and they were happy while enjoying the hot springs and eating a wonderful kaiseki meal.
Excellent room view and delicious breakfast
The hotel is older and about an 8-minute drive from the town center. Note that the last shuttle from the hotel is at 3:30 pm, because in summer the shops in the town begin to close at 4 pm.
The room is very large, with full sea view and sunrise.
The breakfast is delicious and unique. The service staff is enthusiastic and the dining experience is pleasant
It was very convenient as it was adjacent to Kinosaki Marine World. The room felt old, but the view of the ocean from the window was beautiful.
The large public bath was also clean and we enjoyed it. However, we were a little disappointed that both the bath towels in the room and those in the large public bath had a slight smell, like they had been dried in the shade.
The breakfast selection was...

Absolutely loved staying here, the kindest people, such luxurious rooms and amenities, close to everything but still quiet at night to be able to sleep well. So much fun to try new foods as well, the dinner and breakfast they served were so beautiful, thank you guys so much for taking such good care of my family.
The food, baths, services… everything was amazing. Our attendant, Guang was really nice and helpful during our entire stay. We’ll definitely be coming back!
This was one of our highlights on our trip to japan. Maya was an amazing host and always went above and beyond our expectations. The entire staff was polished and professional. We even got a visit from the owner during our amazing dinner. Truly made our honeymoon special. Thank you so much!
The rooms appear to have been renovated, but the harmony of modern and Japanese styles makes for a simple yet comfortable stay.
The food was satisfying in both taste and quantity. We stayed in the summer, but are considering staying in the winter as well.
As a westerner, this went far beyond a hotel. It was an experience and an incredible one at that. The location was perfect and central to everything. The food was delicious and very unique. But the best part was the service. The entire staff went above and beyond and made our stay incredible. I highly reccomend Tajimaya to anyone headed to Kinosaki
There are many things laces to stay in Kinosaki, and I’m sure all of them are splendid, but I’d highly recommend Tajimaya. They were incredibly professional and always ready for any request we made. Visit in May 2025. This large spa town, easily accessible by train, is a must-see. Several onsen (hot springs) are scattered throughout the town, which you visit sequentially using a pass provided by the Ryokan (traditional ryokan). This ryokan is located outside the village and therefore away from the other onsen. Despite the free shuttle, this quickly becomes a problem if you're short on time and want to make the most of your stay. The food and bath were very good
The waitress's service was wonderful and made me very happy. The food was also very luxurious.
At least one person on staff (at all times) spoke excellent English. If you can't speak a lick of Japanese, like us, you're still going to be fine here.
It's a 10 minute walk from the train station, which is not too bad. To get to the furthest public hot spring it's more like a 25 minute walk, but they have a shuttle to take you out there. You get a card for free admission to the public springs....

The hotel and parking lot being separate was a bit inconvenient.
Great location, delicious dinner
The location is very close to JR Kinosaki Onsen Station, about a 10-minute walk. The hotel dinner was good and great value for money. The hotel also has an onsen (hot spring) area, which was fantastic and incredibly relaxing because it wasn't crowded.
Beautiful place, the room was great and clean. Convinent location. Everything was pleasant during the stay.
The location is convenient, with parking available, though not directly near the hotel. It's very close to the main street.
The hotel is a bit dated, but it offers a unique perspective on the Japanese-style atmosphere.
The hotel employs many Nepalese domestic workers, which facilitates English communication, but this also diminishes the Japanese atmosphere.

We had a fantastic stay at Shinzan. The hotel is absolutely beautiful. The onsen is stunning. The staff were extremely kind and helpful right from check in. I will also add that there was a huge snowstorm on our final day. Our train was cancelled and the staff arranged for a bus to take us to a town not affected by the storm. They truly went above and beyond. Highly recommend!
I stayed in the kinosaki onsen town for total of 4 days, and only spent 1 night here. I paid $515 USD for two people, so it was rather expensive and although it’s a great one time experience, I don’t think it was so spectacular that I’d pay that price again to repeat.
