The room is spacious and can accommodate three people. The facilities are new. There's a free shuttle bus service from the JR station. For the two nights, dinner was kaiseki cuisine, featuring snow crab on one night and fish on the other. The hot spring town also offers plenty of dining options.

The hotel is clean, and the staff are friendly, with most speaking English. Dinner is served seasonally and is of above-average quality, while breakfast is a buffet with limited variety. The hotel has one outdoor and one indoor hot spring, but the hot spring area is rather small.

The hotel service and environment are excellent, offering a free shuttle service from the station to the hotel. The meals and private hot springs are highlights, making for a perfect overnight stay with two meals. Due to heavy snowfall, both trains and buses were canceled, which put me in a difficult situation. However, thanks to the hotel's thoughtful assistance, I was able to get to a station where the subway was still running, allowing me to continue the rest of my trip in Japan. Thank you! As expected of a Relais & Châteaux hotel and a century-old Japanese establishment, the facilities, dining, rooms, and service were all top-notch in Kinosaki Onsen. It was a pity that I missed the snow crab season; only the rooms were a bit dated.

The old Japanese hotel has a beautiful courtyard and warm service. Dinner was kaiseki cuisine eaten in the house, one dish after another, and it took two hours to eat. The private soup in the yard can be soaked at any time.

A very good stay experience! The room is larger than the average hot spring hotel. It is very comfortable for three people to stay. It feels very good to eat in the restaurant in the room! The hotel staff and service were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the facilities were excellent. I stayed in a nostalgic tatami-style room, and the hotel even made up the futon for me in advance. On the first floor, there's a hot spring available for guests. I stay here twice a year, and I get bitten by mites almost every time. The food, location, and service are all good, but it bothers me. This time, I was bitten in over 30 places, including my hands and stomach. (The sheets and duvet covers are well-starched and look clean, though.) I recommend bringing sheets and towels from home. Absolutely loved staying here, the kindest people, such luxurious rooms and amenities, close to everything but still quiet at night to be able to sleep well. Despite the free shuttle, this quickly becomes a problem if you're short on time and want to make the most of your stay. Spacious room. Several vending machines around the hotel. Ski and snowboard gear rental and transport to the ski trail. A real nice hotel if you are planning on going skiing and or snowboarding. However checking first if the ski area open is highly recommended. When I went there, there was only one ski area that was opened, that was even a man-made snow.

A great ryokan. Huge rooms, excellent service. They will meet you, arrange dinner, give you haori and geto. Really enjoyed my stay here for just one night. Negative: I waited to Checkin for about 10 minutes because another guest arrived at the same time, and there was only one staff. It was a truly unique and atmospheric experience! I loved that they met us right at the train station — such a warm welcome. There’s a whole wardrobe of yukatas to choose from, which makes the stay even more fun. The dinner was wonderful and very atmospheric, and the private onsens inside were just perfect. The staff were all so kind and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Other than the peculiar old smell, I had a good stay without any inconvenience. It is a place with friendly staff and delicious food. I would 100% visit again. The four free private baths in the guesthouse were also very nice. I arrived a little early, but it would have been best if I could have checked in early.

Exceeded expectations! This small, exquisite hotel features traditional Japanese-style rooms, and the private onsen is excellent. You can also book a private onsen for exclusive use. The included breakfast and dinner were delicious! We enjoyed Tajima beef every night! This is a fantastic place, a complete immersion into Japanese culture. I definitely recommend visiting.

Great hotel within walking distance to public onsen. The hotel also has its own small onsen, which can be booked at the guests' request for a room for 45 minutes. Please book this hotel if you go to Kinosaki Onsen! The staff was really amazing. They were all super friendly and nice and always put so much effort in making our stay enjoyable.
