Plesant experience: Special thanks to Suzuki san for helping us with wearing the rental Yukata and it brightened the entire stay with us wearing cute kimono with ready ribbon-like Obi around the onsen town. We enjoyed strawberry bought from Wadaya and tasting delicious croissant at PARADI watching Sakura bloom although it was on our last day of our stay. Thanks to our 1st day dinner server (he is so...
Very nice, will come back again
The room is spacious and can accommodate three people. The facilities are new. There's a free shuttle bus service from the JR station. For the two nights, dinner was kaiseki cuisine, featuring snow crab on one night and fish on the other. The hot spring town also offers plenty of dining options.
The hotel is clean, and the staff are friendly, with most speaking English. Dinner is served seasonally and is of above-average quality, while breakfast is a buffet with limited variety. The hotel has one outdoor and one indoor hot spring, but the hot spring area is rather small.
The hotel service and environment are excellent, offering a free shuttle service from the station to the hotel. The meals and private hot springs are highlights, making for a perfect overnight stay with two meals. The entire hot spring town also has six public hot spring pools, each with its own unique features. There are many charming little shops along the street to explore, offering a tranquil...
Due to heavy snowfall, both trains and buses were canceled, which put me in a difficult situation. However, thanks to the hotel's thoughtful assistance, I was able to get to a station where the subway was still running, allowing me to continue the rest of my trip in Japan. Thank you! Also, the crab course dinner was absolutely delicious.

Breakfast was included, but the grilled flounder was small and I wish it had been a little bigger. However, I still had coffee after the meal before leaving.
The food (breakfast) and service were both excellent, and I plan to return next month.
Friendly and clean accommodations, close to the station. They also helped me call taxis. Breakfast was simple but excellent. Thank you.
The hotel is reasonably priced, though the toilet threshold is a bit high, so elderly people should be wary, while younger people are more vulnerable. The location is convenient, the rooms have all the amenities you need, and free parking is available.
This time, I couldn't get time off and only stayed one night, but it was very convenient as it was close to the station. I'd like to use it again.
This was my first time staying at the hotel, so it was much better than I expected. There are many shops around the hotel! I didn't feel inconvenienced.

Excellent service! The driver specifically came to pick me up at the station at 2:00 PM.
Near Kyoto station. Very good breakfast buffet but very crowded and busy with tourist.
Everything was perfect! Very tasty crab dinner, excellent staff and cleanliness everywhere. I recommend it
This elegant Japanese-style inn boasts spacious and refined rooms and a comfortable onsen (hot spring bath). The meal package includes two meals a night, featuring luxurious and delicious dishes. During the autumn and winter seasons, a snow crab feast is served. The inn is a 10-15 minute walk from Kinosaki Onsen town, and the inn provides complimentary tickets to seven outdoor baths in the town.
Quiet and beautiful place located shortly outside of the busier parts of town. Staff are friendly and helpful. Food and onsen were great.
I'm very pleased with my stay in this ryokan. The staff speaks English quite well. Spacious rooms in traditional Japanese style with futons as beds and have a kotatsu. In-house onsen is on the level of great onsens of the town, with outdoor parts, which are most cozy that have the addition of cold water bath for contrast experience. The location is a little bit farther from the center and all onsen...

Excellent service and authentic atmosphere
As expected of a Relais & Châteaux hotel and a century-old Japanese establishment, the facilities, dining, rooms, and service were all top-notch in Kinosaki Onsen. I particularly loved the hotel's Japanese garden and large public bath, as well as the excellent service and dining. It was a pity that I missed the snow crab season; only the rooms were a bit dated.
This is a near-perfect hot spring hotel! As soon as I exited Kinosaki Onsen Station, someone immediately called the hotel's private car to pick me up and take me to the hotel! I booked a room with its own open-air bath, which was incredibly enjoyable, allowing me to enjoy the private onsen at any time. Since my check-in day was my birthday, the hotel thoughtfully provided me with a small gift and celebratory...
The best hotel in the Kinosakionsen. The best hotel in Kinosakionsen. The service and food are much better than American hotels such as Rizt Carlton and Marriott in my hotel experience, and better than Japanese city hotels. Ms. Ito Nanaho, who takes care of the room and dinner, and another lady with glasses who takes care of breakfast, all provide excellent services and deserve great praise. I will...
The old Japanese hotel has a beautiful courtyard and warm service. Dinner was kaiseki cuisine eaten in the house, one dish after another, and it took two hours to eat. The private soup in the yard can be soaked at any time.
A very good stay experience! The room is larger than the average hot spring hotel. It is very comfortable for three people to stay. It feels very good to eat in the restaurant in the room! Dinner and breakfast are all served with fresh seasonal ingredients, ingenious cooking and exquisite presentation. They are absolutely delicious and delicious! Highly recommended!

Staff was very helpful and patient. The room was basic but suited us really well. The breakfast was incredible. They went out of their way to make it delicious.
The environment is good and well-ventilated, and the service is excellent, all at a reasonable price. However, the facilities are a bit run-down; the showerhead was broken and leaking, which should be fixed promptly.
歴史ある建物をうまく活用していて,よい雰囲気でした 夕食のフレンチのコースは地元の食材を使ってます スタッフみなさん感じのよい人たちでした 部屋にテレビがありませんが,慣れればとくに不便ありません
I watched a piano concert. It was a very quaint facility and I had a good night. I think the ceiling was high and the sound was good. I want to use it for accommodation this time.
Really enjoyed my stay here for just one night. Negative: I waited to Checkin for about 10 minutes because another guest arrived at the same time, and there was only one staff. Positive: The rooms are spacious, the ceilings are tall, and it’s fun to soak in the history of the vault and wide open dining room. The bed was a bit firm, but I would definitely stay again. I loved the self serve bar lounge...

My group of four friends had a very good stay at this hotel. It is very well maintained, located in a great location and provides great service. I previously stayed here with my family in end 2024. It is still as good.
good place for rest, private onsen so awesome.
The service was very attentive, but it's a shame that the hot spring facilities are old and lack a view.
Although the hotel isn't right in the heart of Kinosaki Onsen, the town is small, so getting around is easy and convenient for visiting the seven public onsens. Don't forget to get your stamp at each one and collect a small gift back at the hotel! The hotel also has its own hot spring bath, it's not huge, but it's usually quiet as most guests go to the seven public onsens. Guests can enjoy a private...

The hotel staff and service were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the facilities were excellent. I stayed in a nostalgic tatami-style room, and the hotel even made up the futon for me in advance. On the first floor, there's a hot spring available for guests. I was able to relax. I also went to the outdoor bath, but the indoor bath was the most relaxing. After the bath, I was able to enjoy alcohol, wine, coffee, ice cream, etc. while reading a book, which was great.
Delightful ryokan with lovely gardens, large and comfortable rooms, wonderful staff, on-site onsen and only a short walk to restaurants and all the sights of Kinosaki-onsen!
Supernice hospitality!!! I will stay here next time!
Nice and cosy Ryokan, with courteous staff that provides excellent service. We were welcomed at the hotel by several staff members, who were very kind to our family, and they made a lot of effort to serve us in English, which is very good for us foreigners. Hotel Kinparo is indeed the star of this trip. Location is a little far from Kinosaki Onsen and knowing a little Japanese when u contact the hotel will be great. The staff were very polite and I enjoyed my stay. The hotel was a little far from the center, but the shuttle service was well managed and I had no problems. The room was clean and the view was better than expected, and the indoor bath was spacious and relaxing. We were served a wide variety of dishes made with seasonal ingredients, which were not only delicious but also visually pleasing, so overall...
The three sisters went back to Kinparo after 20 years. The emotions they felt before came back to life, and they recalled their memories vividly, and they were happy while enjoying the hot springs and eating a wonderful kaiseki meal.
Excellent room view and delicious breakfast The hotel is older and about an 8-minute drive from the town center. Note that the last shuttle from the hotel is at 3:30 pm, because in summer the shops in the town begin to close at 4 pm. The room is very large, with full sea view and sunrise. The breakfast is delicious and unique. The service staff is enthusiastic and the dining experience is pleasant
It was very convenient as it was adjacent to Kinosaki Marine World. The room felt old, but the view of the ocean from the window was beautiful. The large public bath was also clean and we enjoyed it. However, we were a little disappointed that both the bath towels in the room and those in the large public bath had a slight smell, like they had been dried in the shade. Thank you for such a great experience! The best impression of the trip. Definitely worth the money, the kaiseki dinner was amazing. Kinosaki village is a very interesting place, next time we'll definitely stay for a few days.
A very good location right across family mart and nearest to Di Yu Tang. Right adjacent is a bbq, seafood cafe. Overall, it is a very well maintained ryokan majority of their floor is tatami. Which also means u cannot roll ur cabin size in its premises. Their staff will help u carry it to ur room. The room does not have a bathroom, so you need to use a public bath. A hot spring hotel, Kinosaki also has six major hot springs, but the male staff at night said that bath towels need to be charged extra, which is puzzling
The room was large, the bed was very comfortable, and the whole town of Chengqi Onsen was very cozy and pleasant. I loved it. There are many restaurants worth eating at, such as Haizhongyuan, a pub run by a mother and daughter/daughter-in-law, all of which were very good, and the coffee and breakfast sandwiches at No.1 were also very good. We originally booked a two-night stay with two meals. One day...
The room is spacious, and you can enter the private garden through the floor-to-ceiling glass. The Jizo hot spring next to the hotel is also very good. This was my first visit, and I was absolutely captivated by the unfamiliar scenery and the charming, old-fashioned streets. The staff at the inn were incredibly attentive, always making sure I felt comfortable and well-guided. Hearing 'itteらっしゃいませ' (have a good trip/day) when leaving was a lovely touch. It's a place I'd definitely want to return to.
The room was beautiful and the food was delicious. I'm just sad that there was no snow during my visit. If there had been snow, I'm sure it would have been 100 times more stunning!
Beautiful ryokan with amazing service! Great and convenient location to all onsen. We booked with dinner and breakfast and it’s so delicious and fuss free, allowing us to just explore the onsen anytime outside meal time and just return for food.
By far the best hotel/resort experience I ever encountered. Not only did we travel with a family of 5 but we had 10 luggage’s in total which they helped to organise and deliver to our room even though it was really heavy. The food, baths, services… everything was amazing. Our attendant, Guang was really nice and helpful during our entire stay. We’ll definitely be coming back!
This was one of our highlights on our trip to japan. Maya was an amazing host and always went above and beyond our expectations. The entire staff was polished and professional. We even got a visit from the owner during our amazing dinner. Truly made our honeymoon special. Thank you so much!
The rooms appear to have been renovated, but the harmony of modern and Japanese styles makes for a simple yet comfortable stay. The food was satisfying in both taste and quantity. We stayed in the summer, but are considering staying in the winter as well.
As a westerner, this went far beyond a hotel. It was an experience and an incredible one at that. The location was perfect and central to everything. The food was delicious and very unique. A really nice place for a night. Price was reasonable. Staff was helpful and the onsens were great. We had dinner and breakfast. Dinner was great but breakfast was ‘sukiyaki’ which is usually a dinner dish which was too heavy and smelled really strong. Staff may not speak English…
It's really great. The service, food and rooms are very cost-effective. The Japanese service is meticulous and it has thought of everything you can think of. Perhaps to state what kind of meals will be provided in the description during booking, so that not to cause misunderstanding or confusion.
The hotel is quite remote and quiet, and looks a bit eerie. We stayed in the old-looking parking garage building and had to walk across buildings to get to the onsen. However, the staff were helpful and gave good recommendations. Everything was clean, the bed was soft but looked very old.
A stunning place away from the hustle and bustle, surrounded by mountains and the bay. Large room with all the comforts and a beautiful view.
The age of the hotel was nice and charming, but the toilets were smelly and the quality was not commensurate with the price, which was disappointing for someone who works in the hotel industry.

Very welcoming staff, they put in a lot of effort and little special touches to make our stay memorable. Would definitely stay here again.
