The free afternoon tea everyday is a big plus. It's also close to the station, walk 5-8mins only. A Lawson is within 5 mins. Hotel is classy and clean.

If I'm solely going for a hot spring experience, I'd definitely choose this place again; the water quality is excellent. The breakfast offers a good variety, and the taste is decent. It's a bit far from the city center, but a 100 RMB taxi ride usually covers most dining spots.

I booked a full board package. The location is conveniently located near to the Hell valley tourist spots. Pick up from the Beppu station was punctual and drop off after check out to station makes travel relaxing. Room was extremely spacious and environment was tranquil. Nothing but good things to say about the hotel, it is one of the best stays I´ve had anywhere and a hotel with excellent value. Really big hotel by the ocean side. Room was so big that we can prob sleep 10 people in there if we had the futons. This place even got a water dispenser. Bath's view was blocked by safety railing which was a let down but the room made up for it. Recommend.

This hotel has such a romantic, old-style charm. The bedroom was incredibly spacious—we even managed to have a family supper for 8 people comfortably inside! The onsen is also very nice and relaxing. A wonderful choice if you like a classic feel and plenty of room.

The food was good both in the evening and in the morning, but the bathroom, toilet and washbasin were all in one place and there was a step between the bathroom and the hallway, so there is room for improvement.

I had a great time because of the clean interior and comfortable bathroom. The open-air bath was especially nice and it was a good place to stay. As for cleanliness, the foreign substances in the sink area were not cleaned well. Other than that, it was a really clean place to stay.
