Amane Resort Gahama in Beppu

Good view, good services. The room's balcony offered a beautiful full sea view, and the room itself was very spacious. However, breakfast was served in a separate building, which was a bit inconvenient, and the food selection was limited and unappetizing.

The hotel room was absolutely fantastic and very spacious. The design of the living room, bedroom, bathroom, and balcony was incredibly thoughtful. Soaking in the tub in the room, while looking out at the sea, was incredibly comfortable and truly therapeutic.

While not cheap, the quality of the room, half-board dining, and hotel facilities met expectations for the price. The room was perfect, featuring a walk-in closet, a living room with sea views, a private hot spring bath, a Japanese-style room, and a bedroom. The dinner quality was excellent, and we were served by staff who spoke Chinese, so the meal explanations were very detailed. For breakfast, we had to take a golf cart to a sister hotel next door, which was a minor inconvenience, but the food quality was still good. The only area for improvement was the hotel's pick-up and drop-off service. Unlike traditional onsen hotels, the staff didn't help us with our luggage to the car or put it in the trunk, nor did they help clean our car's rearview mirrors (I'm not sure why, but after spending a night in the outdoor parking lot, the rearview mirrors were quite dirty). This was the only minor drawback in an otherwise almost perfect stay.

The "French toast" I had for breakfast was excellent. Please definitely try it. Also, eggs benedict is rarely offered! Stay in a maisonette-type room with a bath in Gahama, pick up and drop off in Harumi by cart, and enjoy both large shared baths. I was surprised when I drove through the Nitori parking lot, but it was easy because I could come and go in my yukata. A bath where you can experience a feeling of liberation 😌♨️ Please visit.

I came with my family to celebrate my 5th wedding anniversary. I am glad I chose it on a special day. You can choose champagne as a welcome drink. You can choose champagne for breakfast too!! I stayed in a maisonette type room but it was so big that I could not carry it. The kids loved it. It was a day when there were fireworks on the nearby beach so I walked around a bit and went to watch the fireworks. Dinner at Kappo Matsuhide's private room. The exquisite dishes that make you feel the seasons, not only the appearance but also the seasonings were very delicious. The breakfast was also a private room so you can rest assured. This is one of the hotels I definitely want to visit.

Very nice stay, would be better if there are more in room dining amenities and cleaner sink, as well as reminder before arriving to book for restaurants with limited capacities.

Facilities are well maintained, vip lounge is spacious and well organised, room is spacious, clean and comfortable

I’m glad that we chose Amane Gahama for our family vacation because it’s spacious and the private hot spring was awesome with both in and out door options. It’s a little inconvenient that breakfast was located in the sister hotel next door, but the hotel had arranged buggy for transport which the kids are happy about it.
